This is a review of 2 separate and vastly different visits!10/02- Showed up a little before 8am on a Saturday without an appointment since none had been available online. Waiting room was almost empty, they took me around 5 minutes after checking in. Linda was friendly and kind. Understood when I explained which arm and area to do my draw, my veins like to move and give a hard time. She gave me a jar to take home for my urine and told me to ask for her Monday morning when I brought it back. This location used to be the worst, dreaded going there for services. This experience was smooth and pleasant!**Update: 10/23- Had to return today, Saturday. Arrived a little before opening at 6:30am, there was a line already forming at the door. They let us in on time and after signing in, I had about a 10 minute wait (not bad). The women who called me, didn’t introduce herself and there was no pleasantries. She grabbed my order out of my hand and just started typing on her computer, then handed me a electronic signature pad and said sign. I tried explaining my vein issues and where and how to draw my blood. She just ignored me and poked around in my arm (wrong arm). She made a snide comment about me not wanting to play nice and provide blood. I again explained to her what works. She did as I explained and it worked. I wanted to ask her to get Linda but I also wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. I can see now why others have had bad experiences. Btw she had no ID/name tag and never told me her name.

Jane was absolutely incredible. Im a big chicken when it comes to needles, but with a butterfly needle and her skilled venipuncture technique, I didnt feel a thing!!! If youre needle shy like me, ask for Jane ;)

I was a Friday walk-in. I expected a wait as there was a line at the door before 6:30. I’m in my car doing this review at 6:51am. Fantastic job! Jane was SUPERB! She was pleasant, courteous and professional. My best Quest Diagnostic experience ever! Thank you Jane!

I went to this lab as a walk in and waited patiently for more than an hour. Once called back the tech seemed friendly and sat me in a room for blood drawl. From there that is where everything that seemed normal went downhill. The tech became very rude and there was no pleasing her. She had an attitude because I asked if we could drawl from my left arm due to injury I’ve had in my right arm. She continued to wrestle my left arm even though I was relaxed and allowing her to do her job. She complained on how I pumped my fist as she looked for a vein. I followed her directions. She asked if I fasted and if I had drank water that morning. I had, she just seemed frustrated and shouldn’t have been working with people. She attempted to draw blood from an area in my arm which no one had ever attempted so far out of the crease of my arm. She poked around with the needle and twisted in my arm finally hitting something that wouldn’t allow blood. She blamed me for not being able to take the blood and suggested I ask for a new tech. I was moved to the next room were a guy sat me in the chair looked over the arm. He used a extended drawl tool and took the blood needed for testing. I was done and out within a minute or two. I have never experienced a situation like this and truly concern about the original techs behavior and what harm she may cause.

Don’t bother scheduling your appointment here. You’ll waste your time. Staff completely unorganized. Waited well over 1 hour even with a scheduled appointment. Unapologetic. I hate companies that have no regard for peoples time.

I would like to take this opportunity to share a wonderful experience that I had at Quest Diagnostic, Citrus Tower location. The credit for this experience goes to Barbara, who serves in the role of check-in and health screenings. I witnessed her go above and beyond to assist a customer with a visual impairment, to ensure that his transportation was secured and in the correct location. Although, this may not sound like much to some, but this required her to show compassion, patience, and excellent problem solving skills. She reached out to another professional in the building to communicate in Spanish to the driver, and helped the customer with his phone and other communications; all while still greeting customers and carrying out her duties. Once the transportation arrived; Barbara safely assisted him to the car. She did this with a smile and kindness, which inspired my husband and I, to also help where we could. Barbara’s outstanding customer service motivates me in the future to revisit this location, as opposed to any other. Barbara, well done!!!

Arrived 30 min early and walked in but forgot a mask because there not required anywhere else so I politely asked if they could provide one and they declined. So I went home and got one and still made it back in time for my appointment but they made me wait in the waiting room for over an hour and then tryed to charge me $250 for a blood draw when my insurance completely covers it.

Arturio was amazing!!! Drew my blood flawlessly. Online scheduling was quick and easy, social distancing practiced. I did everything online and with my phone for my appointment and check in. Staff very friendly, quick, and efficient. My 5 year old daughter had labs drawn there a few months ago and we had the same experience then. I greatly appreciate the staff and the work that Quest is doing to ensure patient safety and satisfaction!!!!

Fantastic customer service from Eric! He was the most genuinely friendly employee I have ever interacted with at this location! He has a fantastic attitude and is so personable when checking patients in! What a breath of fresh air! I wish everyone I interacted with was like you! You are doing an awesome job! While I got in quickly, the person drawing the blood stuck the needle through the vein and was very rough. If you are nervous to give blood don’t go here, was in lot of pain.

I come to this location often for blood labs due to medications I take. today I was turned away from service due to a bill that was billed to the wrong insurance. I have repeatedly tried to correct this with quest and it has been unsuccessful. The lady said pay $500 today or leave. So I gladly left.

The only good thing I like about this Quest is some of the nurses did a good job with my blood work. The rest is terrible. I have had bad experiences with the customer service when you arrive, the appointments are not fulfilled and the management will not help you. I was there not too long ago with an appointment created online but their system failed. I showed them the confirmation but they still would not assist me. The place was empty and they would not attend me saying sorry we cannot do anything. Total waist of time. I told my medical plan to stop working with this company.

They dont take walk-ins, and they are fully booked 2-3 weeks out minimum. But otherwise the service was outstanding. I was called back on my appt time. It was quick, painless, and I got my results back in less than 24 hours, over a weekend!

I had an appointment 3/17/21 for blood work and I experienced the worst Customer Service from a Nurse C h a v i e r P u g h who should have her licensed revoked. She was rude, inconsiderate, bossy, sloppy, and just downright disgusting. I have never everrr had an ussue with Quest before and I will be calling to speak with the Manager of this location. If she is having a bad day do not take it out on your clients and yes I had an appointment but clearly I was bothering her.

The service is the worst I ever had! I visited the office on February 27 2021 as a walk in. I had called and tried to make an appointment online many times but I was not successful. At this moment I dont have reliable internet or phone service. I live out in the country and its a luxury to have reliable internet or phone service. I drove to the office and hoped they understood my situation. I talked to the receptionist that checks in all patients she stated that they did not take walk ins at all and I should make an appointment on line. I told her I was not able to do that due to my issue with the internet. She kept repeating go online and make an appointment. She never listed to a word I said and just ignored me. I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor Tracey came out and did the same thing but was a lot worse and very unpleasant. I explained my situation she did not listened to word I said.. the supervisor Tracy kept telling me to go online to see if I could find anything. She offer for me to go to an office in Davenport which is about 3hrs away from wherever I live. I asked her what region was her office located and her name she ignored me. The supervisor walked away from me while I was still asking her questions. I told her I still needed information. She ignored me left me talking and told me she would return and talked to me later. After 20min I asked the receptionist if she was coming back to talk to me.. She stated that she was and she was with a patient but that she would be returning back to speak to me. It was now 10:25am she finally came out to talk to me. They made me wait till closing time one hour and thirty minutes to tell me she was not able to see me.Tracey did this with an ill intention she wanted for me to waste my time. They made me wait all this time in an area were there was no sitting so I stood there on feet for an hour and thirty minutes. I have knee problems my bad knee was hurting bad by the time I left.. I hope that this never happens to anyone else. I hope the office works its issues and becomes better at servicing thier patients. No one deserves to get treated in such an ill manner. The individuals there need better customer service and more compassion for others. I will definitely never go back to that office.

Turned away for not having an appointment. Looked online and there’s no appointments until mid to late June. My blood needed drawn this week. Went to a different local lab and they took me as a walk in, no issues. I won’t be back to quest.

If you cant maintain scheduled appointments... dont take appointments...Your a medical service provider. You sure charge enough to afford proper staffing. If your really short staffed like your temp check lady said then hire some of Floridas unemployed...Quest is a joke but thats who my insurance pays for.

I had the same experience as another who left their review on here, I was there this past SAT a walk in, The lady at the door wasnt rude but you could say stern. She told me to call the 1800 number so I didnt, Thinking there was only my car and two others in the parking lot so surely they have an opening... BUT WAIT the hot line said that walk ins are welcome but appointments are priority, Fair enough.. I explained this to the lady at the door but was told that the hot line was not updated. Its didnt matter that I drove an hour to get there and that every thing online including their hot line stated that walk in were welcome. I dont blame they lady at the door, She was just doing her job. Quest has no appreciation for the customers and takes no consideration toward what they have to do to make it in. So take it for what s its worth. Either make an appointment or dont bother.

We missed our 7:45 appointment and when I looked it up it said that they take walk ins. Got there and was turned away because I missed appointment. I didnt see anywhere where it says appointment only. Lady said it was on website. I was not happy. Also, reason I missed appointment was because I forgot the time. Staff is not friendly at all. No one in the waiting room to help you with your service questions. Wouldn’t recommend. Not the first Quest location I’ve had this issue at. Might just end up going back to Lab Corp despite the convenience.

Quest in Clermont dont take walk-in under no circumstances as I was told by the lady guarding the door on Saturday, 08/08/2020. I Left out and looked across the parking lot and there were only 5-cars in the parking lot and that was including my car. I explained to the Lady guarding the door that I worked out of town and I have no other option but to get it done on Saturday. I informed her the when you try to make an appointment theyre not accepting any more due to being over booked.

I made a walk in appointment online (just got told I had 7 days to do bloodwork) in my car at 625am ..... it told me I would be seen at 6:32 am ... well when I asked *insert name later* while showing my barcode..... at 632 am if there was a check in kiosk outside of the door (with a line of 20+ people already at 632am) she said no and to go wait in line.very frustrating that online this lab corp claims that itll text you when to come inside but.... it will NOT. text you. it’s FIRST. COME. FIRST. SERVE. regardless if u signed up priorAVOID & drive to the Ocoee location

When youre not feeling well, kindness goes a long way. The young man who drew my blood today for testing was wonderful. My doctor made a mistake on the paperwork, he caught it and emailed my doctor right away. It was a painless draw. No bruises, no pain.I would recommend getting here early. I went at 7 am and waited about 15 minutes. By time I was walking out at 7:45 am the waiting room was full. They open early, utilize the early times.( Or make an appointment. )Thank you. I will be back if I need any more blood work in the future. 😁😁

Not a great experience unfortunately. There is no human to talk to out in the waiting room so if you have a question or special circumstance you can’t ask. I wound up waiting in line twice there for over two hours bc I got bumped back to the bottom of the list after they said I couldn’t bring in a digital PDF lab order. Had my doctor send it over immediately but then had to check in again and wait in line all over again. Nurses were not helpful when asked questions the few seconds they would pop their head in the lobby to call names. They really need a human being as a receptionist.

Had a lady name Linda today. Not very good side manners for someone who deals with the public on a regular basis, specially this type of work. Lots of people are afraid of needles and kindness goes a long way no matter who you are or where your from. To be a phlebotomist you just have to pass (anybody can do that), to be a good phlebotomist you have to put yourself in other peoples shoes...and that takes a especial kind of person.

I’ve been here to drop a stool sample, that’s all. Still have to sign in and wait in line for your turn!!! You’ll have to wait for all the folks that need blood drawn...etc. even though all you have to do is drop your sample. I had to wait over an hour to drop a sample that needs refrigeration! Really !!! This is not an efficient system.

As great of an experience that can be had when going for blood work. I made an appointment the night before & didnt wait past my appointment time. Lab techs always have trouble finding my veins, I usually get poked several times & have even had the tech give up & call someone else in to try several times. The hospital even gives up & has to get an ultrasound machine. Imagine my surprise when the lab tech here got me on the 1st try. I dont remember her name but she was great. As it was my 1st time at this location the paperwork took longer than the lab itself. I would highly recommend this location

Just because you make an appointment doesnt mean they are going to keep it. We were sent an conformation of the appointment they lost it and even when showed the text conformation did nothing to fix it. Its an issue on Quests end but yet they were unwilling to fix it. To male matters worse the estimated wait time didnt just lower it would also increase meaning their inaccurate there as well.

Their queuing system is the worst. Appts always have priority over walk-ins, meaning if appts keep walking in and registering you could be pushed back indefinitely.This is the worst when youre trying to come in for a drug test waiting for an hour stressing just to piss in a cup.Staff are also rarely at the front desk.

Absolutely terrible! Took my newborn daughter here to get blood drawn for her thyroid and the first thing out of the nurses mouth was, this is going to get messy. In my opinion, never let those words slip to a parent. My heart was already racing at the thought of my baby being in pain. Once they stuck her, she spent the next 20 minutes trying to get the blood. She got more on the gauze than in the vial. Come to find out, this was her first time with a baby and had to get help from another nurse. Im all for learning experiences but from my own past experiences, every time I got stuck, my arm bruised so bad for two straight weeks. I will never come here again. Terrible bedside manner...

Posting this review for my wife: Best experience with Quest Diagnostics-Clermont FL, Citrus Tower. My previous experiences with this location (old) were not good, e.g., front desk personnel rude, wait time even when you have an appointment. This was my first time at their new location and it was a great experience. Had an appointment, got in on-time, quick and efficient. My Phlebotomist Ms. Nesha, was warm, professional, and knows how to make a gentle blood draw. Highly recommend this place.

Ridiculous ! This place is tucked where you can barely find it. Late by 5 minutes due to searching for this place and now im considered a walk in . So now i have to wait 30+ minutes . This is my day off, if i had another place covered by my insurance id peel out of here . Oh and theres no receptionist, absolutely no one to speak to in the front . Dumbest set up ever . Had a great experience here. We walked in with no appointment and after waiting patiently, were approached by Abi. He was amazing, patient, knowledgeable, honest and incredibly accommodating when we knew nothing and couldnt decide what tests we needed. When he was supposed to be on his lunch break, he input all of our info and all 8 tests in the computer just to get me a price, knowing we might not even get the tests performed all the while, calming our fears about what the tests mean and how much they cost. And while he was going out of his way to help us, he went out of his way to help more than one coworker! He drew my husbands blood effortlessly and masterfully. Since my husband has had more than one hematoma, he was nervous and this is the important part! This guy is an awesome asset to Quest and deserves some recognition! Thanks again Abi! You made a scary, confusing time for us easy and fun!💉👍👍Give him a bonus/raise!

The staff is crap and slow. they wont make eye contact because then theyd have to talk to you. I was looked at as if I were the worst person in the world since I was coming for a drug screening for employment. I saw the nurses name tag but waited til after my terrible visit to ask whats your name? And I quickly got a smile and a Im tracy, have a nice day it took her until I asked and recieved her name for her to acknowledge me and be polite. I wasnt asked my name, or an how are you today? Or anything except for an hateful attitude. But as soon as I ask because she realized now I have her name and can contact whomever is in charge of this crappy quest diagnostic. I would reccomend highly not to come here. Or, just not deal with Tracy. Terrible service

If you dont have an appointment dont bother. Walk in time is very inaccurate. Your wait time will say 20 min for example, it will take you at least 4 times longer than that because if someone who has an appointment walks, they skip ahead of the line.

I have been to the Quest in Ocoee for two 3 hour glucose test for gestational diabetes before and knew not to expect too much out of Quest. I was not surprised to have an awful experience here in Clermont. This test requires overnight fasting while pregnant and takes 3 hours, it took a hour and 15 minutes to been seen. I spoke with a worker 30 minutes after waiting because everyone who arrived after me had been seen. The worker did even look up to talk to me and told me that they would call me and sit down. Finally an hour after my appointment time I went up to speak to the same worker and expressed frustration for waiting over an hour, she finally got up to look at the sign in log. Someone had crossed through my name, she apologized half heartedly and finally took my info to get me seen. Frustrating to say the least especially since I had to arrange a babysitter for my daughter and cant simply reschedule. I would give 0 stars if possible. Also this place is dirty to say the least, at least at Ocoee they have a separate waiting area for patients who are there for long duration tests with comfy chairs and some pirvacy.

Dirty and slow service. Had an appointment, yet still took 30 mins to see the phlebotomist. The phlebotomist was nice though. A medical office, especially one that specializes in lab work where they take blood should have a clean appearance and clean bathrooms. Dont go here unless you have no choice. This place is the medical version of the DMV.

What a nightmare trying to get an appointment!!Dr gave me 3 locations in Clermont FL and no ones available to answer the phones!!Called 800# and automated system is too lengthy and not helpful because u cant speak to a human!!
