Dr. Kasem is the absolute best! He greeted me with welcoming arms and made sure that my dreams of having a nice smile would finally come true. His whole staff treated me with so much kindness and they were always understanding of any situation. I definitely recommend coming to Hancock, you will not regret it! I went to 2 different dentist offices in my network . As an older person I wanted to save as many as possible of my teeth. The other doctor wanted to pull my teeth and get a plate. Doctor Kasem Did a work up all my teeth and said we could work with what we have and it will wind up being very nice and last me the rest of my life. First and foremost I have to express my gratitude for Lauren! She is the reason I’m sharing my experience today. I had this rough spot I could see/feel on one of my teeth. Many years ago at another practice I was told it was damage from having braces. It was subtle enough that even most professionals couldn’t see it unless I called attention to it. But I saw it and I knew it was there. I had resigned to its presence until if/when I got veneers and stopped mentioning the scuff during my cleanings altogether.Well, during my cleaning I was telling Lauren about my tooth ‘beauty mark’ in passing conversation and she decided to take a look. Not only was she able to see it, she immediately told me it wasn’t a scuff on my enamel at all, but residual glue. I was stunned.That thin, tiny layer of cement fought through countless cleanings to remain with me but after a bit of precise scraping and another polish from Lauren…it was gone. Just like that. No more scuff on my tooth! The years I spent being bothered by it and said nothing because I thought it was just my tooth. A small price to pay for straight teeth - a blemish I could live with.Thanks to Lauren I can have my cake and eat it too. For the first time in my adult life I have straight teeth AND no damage. So again, thank you Lauren for your experience, skill, and attentiveness. It may seem like something minor but it made a big difference to me.The front desk staff are always warm and professional. I just wanted to rave about my dentist, Dr. Shovon Kasem from Hancock Village Dental. A little backstory: I had a miscarriage, and I had to have surgery to clear out my uterus. During the surgery, anesthesia had trouble getting the tube down my throat, and that resulted in them chipping my front tooth. Although people said the damage was minor, it was very obvious to me, and every time I saw my teeth, I was reminded of the surgery and miscarriage.I called Dr. Kasem’s office to see if it was something that could be fixed, they said they can definitely evaluate it, so I made the appointment. I thought that I was just going in for a evaluation, but he said it was a ten minute fix, and he did it right then and there. He made my smile perfect again in 10 minutes, and I’ll forever be grateful for that. He has done previous work for me, and his work has always been impeccable. Holly is my hygienist, and she is so awesome. Also, his wife and the rest of the office staff are just amazing. If you’re in need of a dentist, or if you’re not happy with your current dentist, please don’t hesitate to check him out. I’ll attach a picture of the before and after.

Used to dread the dentist. Now I know i am headed for a much better experience. The office staff is very polite, including greetings when you enter. My hygienist is such a pleasure to work with, very encouraging and clear instructions on taking care of any issues. And all her guidance has paid off in Improvements. I cannot rave about my experience with this dentist enough. Growing up I never had a good dentist experience. They usually resulted in being in quite a bit of pain. But I have never had that experience here. For example I’ve had A couple root canals. And they were extremely uncomfortable and painful. But I recently got one done here and it was absolutely painless. Dr. Kasem understood My fear of dentist and let me listen to music on my headphones while he worked on my tooth. And I literally felt no pain. I am extremely grateful for the kindness that his staff constantly shows. And how welcome they make me feel every time I walk in. There was a point when I couldn’t come in for about a year because I had to used all my time to go visit my sister battling breast cancer. And my first day back for my cleaning everyone asked how my sister was. The fact that they remembered let alone asked me was extremely touching. If I can avoid going to any other dentist ever again and only coming here I will definitely do that.

This is the best dentist I have ever been to! I am 42 and I hate going to the dentist, I’ve had more than one bad experience in dentist offices. I broke a tooth a couple weeks ago and went in to see Dr. Kasem. I was extremely nervous and had anxiety about having to go to the dentist. Dr. Kasem and his entire office were not only friendly, but they listened and didn’t make me feel silly about my anxiety. I felt comfortable enough that we scheduled a follow up appointment to fix my tooth with a root canal and a crown, Dr. Kasem promised I wouldn’t feel any pain! I went in yesterday for the root canal and as promised there wasn’t any pain!!! Not only did he take the time to talk with me about the procedure, he also talked to me during the process letting me know what he was doing, furthermore he was very attuned to any flinch or facial expression I made that would alert him of any discomfort I was having and he immediately addressed it. I’ve had more than one root canal over the years and I have never been back to the same dentist because none of the previous dentists had anywhere near the compassion or bed side manner that Dr. Kasem and his staff do. I would highly recommend them and he will now be my permanent dentist!!

The staff was extremely friendly and what I enjoyed the most is that everyone including the doctor genuinely care for the patient. I overheard the receptionist speaking to what I assume was a regular and she knew alot of details about him and his family and to me, thats what counts. It had a “family” vibe to it. I was referred by my sister and law and i highly recommend everyone.

I have issues with dentists mostly having to do with pain & impatience. Growing up I saw military dentists who werent patient at all, just cycling people through as quickly as possible caring little if kids left crying. Later I actually had a dentist who said that cavity isnt very deep, lets skip the anesthesia. Pain so bad I nearly passed out. So, when I moved to Clermont I put off finding a dentist until I absolutely had to. I read reviews on dozens and there was one that stood out with nothing but 5 star ratings, Dr Shovon Kasem at Hancock Village Dental. I thought some of these 5 star ratings had to be fake, but thats not the case. Dr Kasem is the kindest, most caring dentist Ive ever met. He explains everything hes doing & has a gentle touch with the needle, making sure youre comfortable every step of the way. His staff is excellent too, treating everyone with kindness & respect. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Everything the other 5 star reviewers said is true. Dr Shovon Kasem is amazing & I would recommend him to anyone, especially those like me, that until now hated going to the dentist.

I haven’t gone to a dentist in years because my last experience wasn’t really something I ever wanted to go through again but I did need to and I’m glad I went here. They made me feel so comfortable and welcome. They truly care about their patients and their experience.My front teeth have been in bad shape for a few years now. And it really made me feel self conscious. I’ve had work done on them before and while the staff at my prior dentist was really nice the work I had done wasn’t the best. After DR. Kasem fixed My front teeth it truly changed the way I felt about smiling. Before when I would be out with friends someone would want to take pictures and I would be excited and smile genuinely but then seeing my teeth I would ask for a second picture and then that picture wasn’t in the moment anymore and I usually wasn’t a fan of it.Yesterday I was out with my husband and a friend and it was the first time I went to take a picture and I didn’t ask for a second picture. It’s one of my favorite pictures I have take in a long time. I could see the joy I get in that moment and I had nothing to feel self conscious about.If you are looking what dentist to go to don’t just go off of how nice a team is. Go off of the quality of work they do. This is the place for me and everyone I have seen since then has heard how great this office truly is.

Today I had the best experience ever at Hancock Village Dental. I have severe dental anxiety and the team here is amazing beyond words. They took their time with me and I have a super high tolerance to Novocain so that was extremely helpful. They care more about their patients than any office I have ever been to, any business in general that I have ever been to. They make your experience your own and calm any nerves you have. They also perform 5 star work, I truly can’t say enough good things about this dentist and his team.

Both my husband and I use your services. I am very pleased that the air filtration machines were added and the office is so clean. The fact that cleaning polish is not needed any longer, yeah for the latest technology! The staff are all very nice and professional.

Be 100% sure your Insurance coverage is accepted here. Dont even consider the exam if your told to come in for a exam. Dr Kasam says; He will work with you if the insurance doesnt fully cover. Dont believe it for a minute. I waited patiently for over a month and never received a follow up call about a costI decided to return to the office and inquire about an estimate because of my Out of Network Insurance and was told they were waiting for the Insurance Company and wait another week and was told as it stands the dental work would cost out of pocket over $5.000.00 plus. I asked if Dr. Kasam worked with that figure and was told; He hasnt had a chance until the Insurance Company contacts them. Then by some miracle the next day I get a voicemail that the out of pocket cost will still be $5,000.00. So where did Dr. Kasam work with me? Get what Im saying. its no wonder people give up getting treated and just go without getting Eye, Dental or Medical care.

Dr. Kasem and his entire staff are excellent in every way that one would want or expect a medical professional to be. The office staff go above and beyond in every aspect; including current Co-Vid 19 safety protocols, which meet and may even exceed the current requirements for dental practices from the CDC. Incorporating several layers of protection for their staff and patients, including new technology and equipment. They also went above and beyond when I needed assistance with my insurance. I and my family have been patients of Dr. Kasem for many years and without exception we have received the most timely, personal, courteous and professional care from them. Patient CARE has always been their primary focus. In my experience (and Im a bit wimpy) Dr. Kasem has magical (incredibly skilled) hands at dentistry without discomfort or pain!

These guys are THE BEST. I haven’t been to the dentist in at least 10 years and had gotten a hole in my two front teeth. I was devastated since my dental insurance hadn’t kicked in yet. Not to mention, my anxiety was through the roof. Mine is so bad that I was looking for dentists willing to sedate because I thought I couldn’t handle it. I called and explained everything and Angela was SO nice. She said to come in for some X-rays and to meet the staff and doctor and come up with a plan for my teeth. I was seen in a week and was SO nervous. After meeting Dr. Kasem, I immediately made my next appointment to get my teeth fixed. He was SO nice. There isn’t enough words to explain how awesome he is. I came in another week later and got my teeth all fixed! I again was nervous but he numbed the area he was working with and explained all the steps while working on my teeth. They had relaxing music on but I brought my earbuds and they even gave me a fuzzy blanket since it’s cold in the building. In a couple hours, I had beautiful new teeth, all filled, cleaned, sealed and polished!His office is extremely clean, bright and welcoming. He also has the best staff. They carry the same relaxing and welcoming attitude. Nobody made me feel bad about my teeth, they instead smiled and said “let’s figure out how to fix this together.” They also don’t charge an arm and a leg either!! I was worried I would have to pay a larger amount since I didn’t have dental insurance and my total was way less than I thought! Plus they take Care Credit so I was able to finance it with no interest. Another great thing is that he isn’t pushy. He tells you what you need done and other options as well. I expressed that I wanted a nicer smile with whiter teeth and recommended crowns and it’s something we can work on in parts over the course of the fall and spring. He is literally the nicest dentist and I couldn’t recommend him more!!!

Wonderful office and staff, very professional yet down to earth. They are very gentle and take their time with you. The environment is extremely clean and modern. The instrumental music is absolutely lovely with calming scenes of nature played on flat screen tvs in every room. My husband and I are looking forward to our next visit!

The best dentist that I have ever been to! From the minute I walked in I felt like I was family! I only waited for 2 minutes then off to have my dental work done! What a concept the patient doesn’t waited! Fairly priced and very clean! My dental work was done and I feel great!

As many people, I get nervous at the dentist. NOT anymore! I did a root canal yesterday and it was not what I expected. I can not put in words how comfortable the whole experience was. I do not always write reviews. But I HAD to this time. As soon you set foot at the door starting with the friendly ladies at the desk to the helpful assistant and the efficient dentist himself. ALL do a great job. I highly recommend this place. Friendly, Accommodating, and they do an awesome job! Very satisfied with the results.

Ive been coming to get services at Hancock Dental and so far has been a great experience. Everybody is so friendly and professional. Nusrat and Shovon and their team are extremely knowledgable. If on other places they dont want to do a regular cleaning if you dont do a deep clean, come here to get a second opinion. That was my case and they did another type of cleaning that didnt needed to be a deep clean and now Im on my regular one. Highly recommend this office.

Absolutely a Pleasant Experience Holly did a GREAT JOB with my Dental Cleaning. Never have I had so much fun getting my teeth cleaned. I am so glad to have met Dr. Kasem. He is the nicest and most personable dentist I have ever met. He uses the latest “cutting edge” technology, takes time with his patients and has the BEST STAFF !! The Clermont area is fortunate to have such a talented dentist working in this area.

My husband and I were greeted by professional yet warm and friendly staff. Our first appointment was for cleaning and state of the art X-rays. The hygienists were so through, knowledgeable and totally gentle. No pain or anything! Dr. Kasem came in section of suite to introduce himself. He was genuinely happy to meet us. Also, explained X-rays and follow-up. We totally recommend Dr.Kasem!

I was looking for a gentle dentist locally and I found it with Hancock Village!! The hygienist Dolly was so sweet, caring and gentle. I felt very at ease the whole time. And Dr. Acosta was very gentle and accommodating during my exam and filling. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has sensitivity issues with their mouth as I do!

Ive had braces for the past two years, and I just recently got my top ones off, and I had to get two crowns to build up my teeth. I was beyond excited and so was Dr. Acosta and his team. They did an amazing job explaining, and working with me, the crowns turned out wonderful and look amazing. Their honest, helpful, and treat you like family. Dr. Kasem and everyone you meet in the office are top notch. Not only do they provide the highest quality care in a clean, modern office, but it is done so GENTLY that even the biggest baby (me) when it comes to pain can relax. Holly, my hygienist, is wonderful and Dr. Kasem is a perfectionist, as I discovered when he replaced a crown last year. I came here on a recommendation from a friend and have not been disappointed!

Through my own research I found Dr. Kasems dental practice, and I a happy I took the time out to find the right dentist for my family and I. Dr. Kasems and all of the staff in his office have great interpersonal skills and it is evident that they have passion for what they do. My son and I have a great experience and were made to feel at home. Dr. Kasem took the time out to explain the the exam, x-ray results and how his office operates. The front office staff were extremely welcoming an knowledgeable, to include the x-ray technician and all other staff my son and I encountered. I cannot say enough good things about them all.

I am not a dentist lover but Dr. Kasem and his entire staff are awesome! They truly make you feel as if you’re one of their family members. Everyone is kind, professional and a pleasure to be around. The dental work is done gently, efficiently and is explained in detail. At no time did I ever feel rushed through or uncared for as their patient. After being a patient here for a couple of years I thought it necessary to write a review. Quite simply, I 100% recommend this place! In my 40+ years of life, I have been to many dentists, and I can honestly say, that Hancock Village Dental is the best one that Ive ever been to. I always feel genuinely welcomed, I always feel informed, and all of my questions are always answered. The front desk, the dental hygienist, and the dentist, Dr. Acosta, all made me feel like family. They have cured me of my fear of dentists and they surely have a patient for life!!!

I have been looking for a dentist to take my kids for their first visit for months. Hancock Dental was a God sent for me. Not only did they accept my medicaid insurance, but as soon as I walked in I was greeted with big smiles from the front desk staff, they were so friendly and sweet with my kids and made their first visit great! I am very comfortable there in regards to care and treatment. All diagnoses are explained thoroughly without pressure that most dentists place on you for the maximum dollar to benefit themselves. It is a wonderful family environment where the patient is treated with value. I have paid out of pocket numerous times just because I know I am getting superb service.

I have been seeing Dr Shovon Kasem for 5 years and have followed him through three different offices! I will follow him to the ends of the earth. But now that he owns his own office at Hancock Village Dental, I will never have to move again. I recommend everyone I meet to him. Where was Hancock Village Dental all my life?! They’re seriously great and they now treat my entire family for any dental visits. Receptionists have been patient with my finicky dental insurance and I’ve now booked all the upcoming dental visits I need. Met Kasem during my visit, very kind and you can tell he has a great team there. Although I hate visiting the dentist, Hancock Village Dental has made the necessary visits very easy-going and great.

I hate dentists. I havent been to one in nearly 18 years, thats how much I hate going. After reading the reviews I chose Dr. Kasem, and Im glad I did. Theyre very aware of people fears of the dentist and do everything they can to make you feel better about it, including not shaming you for being absent from regular dental visits in your life.Everyone who works here is happy to meet you, friendly and seem like they genuinely care about you as a person, as well as a patient. I liked them so much I plan on regular visits, something that I have never really done in my adult life!

LOVE this office!! If I could give more stars I would. The doctor gave my children all the time they needed to feel comfortable. He interacted with them and treated even my toddler with the respect he would give an adult. I walked in expecting all bad news after dealing with spots on my sons teeth. The doctor could have easily taken advantage and made a nice bit of profit, but he was honest and never tried to scare me into unnecessary treatments. He was also incredibly patient and kind.The hygienist was also amazing. She explained every step, every tool. She got to know the kids and talked with them. She even sang a song to my shy toddler. Perfect!!No one in the office blinked an eye when I accompanied my children into the exam/cleaning room. My son was even walking in and out during his sisters visit and the staff didnt mind at all. They are wonderfully family friendly, kind, thorough, clean, and efficient. Ive honestly never been so impressed with a dental office or dentist.
