Stephanie was able to fit me in last minute for a hair cut and keratin treatment. She took her time and made me feel so comfortable! The salon is beautiful as well. My hair came out a million times better than when I walked in. She was so patient and kind the whole entire time. I will definitely be going to her from now on.

My daughter went in for a lifting procedure, (after a thorough discussion about the process with the stylist) and came out with absolutely destroyed hair. Upon reaching out to stylist, no form of trying to reconcile the issue was offered. I thought she would at least ask for my daughter to come in so she could inspect her hair, but instead she offered stylist products as a form of repair. I would not recommend this place to anyone! I feel like the stylist was uneducated about this process and used cheap products. I typically dont complain and this is the 1st google review I have ever posted but I want to warn everyone about the potentials they may face if they visit this place! We paid good money and left a generous tip all to be treated so poorly!

I went in as a walk in and was Immediately greeted by a gentleman named Timmy. Then ask me what I would like with my hair I showed him a picture. By the end of the visit I would say he nailed it I looked just like the picture. thanks timmy for the great experience

Joannah is the stylist to seek out! Ive seen her three times now and in those times she has corrected my hair colour, brightened my hair colour, and provided a cut which topped off the look I was hoping to achieve. She is patient, listens carefully to what you want, and adds advise when needed. An added bonus... Shes a fun person to chat with while she works her artistry on my hair. I cant imagine going to any other stylist. Urban Hair Lounge is fortunate to have her on their team!

I have extremely thin hair so its very hard to style it, but she went above my expectations and was also very friendly. I cant wait to book her again!

I had the BEST hair cut experience at Urban Hair Lounge in Clermont, FL by Gracie! I had a cut, shampoo, blow dry and style. Gracie was excellent and I couldn’t be happier with how my cut came out. I will definitely be back! Appointment was on time too and all COVID precautions were taken along with proper sanitization. Highly recommend!

Made an appointment ahead of time. Showed up and was kindly greeted . Ciara cut my hair and she was amazing ! I have been struggling to learn how to handle my curly hair. She was so kind and helpful , gave me tips on how to style my hair. The atmosphere was great the place was nicely decorated and there was music playing . Had she not had another appointment right after me ,I wouldve asked her to do my eyebrows. Highly recommend!

Go ahead and try this place if you want to waste your time to show up and only be told they have no record of your appointment! Thats what happened to me today. Despite being able to provide the exact time and Day that we called and booked the appointment, we were told they never put the appointment in and they were completely booked and couldnt take me in. Very poor customer experience. This was their mistake and the only thing offered to me was to book for a different day and time. I will continue looking for a salon with competent staff who can, at least, book an appointment correctly.

I made an appointment with Danie (after getting a hair cut with her a few days before) to have a color done; which included removing the brassy color from my roots. I also needed a few highlights around my face to cover the gray hairs that pop up. Danie assured me that she could do the color to remove the brassy tone and that she would not charge me for the few highlights that I needed.What a total disappointment! My roots are now more brassy than before and they are way darker than they should be. The highlights that she put in are a brassy orange that make my hair look even worse. And, the worst part is that Danie charged me for the highlights that she told me she would not charge for in our consultation!I tried to reach out to her via text when I arrived home and was in the natural light to see how bad my hair was and is. Danie replied, but all she said was that it would wash out eventually! What? $150+ later, my hair is worse than when I went into Urban Hair Lounge.I dont like to leave bad reviews, but I feel that people should be aware of what they are getting themselves into. Personally, I feel I was lied to and charged for a service that I did not receive. Very very disappointing.

I booked an appointment and asked the girl in the front to please set me up with someone who would actually be passionate and care about my hair. I have had bad experiences all the time because I have black hair and no one can highlight it correctly it always comes out gold so then I go in for my appointment and she says this girl has 17 years of experience so she should be able to do it and when I sit down in the chair I show the hair stylist a picture of a color correction from a girl with black and gold hair to a blonde she basically tells me and asked me if I knew the person in the Instagram picture because usually those photos are fake and thats not possible then she says that also takes like 8 hours( I have had someone do it to me before in another star in 3 hours) and I dont have time for that today she said she only had a 2-hour window for me she did not want to do the work at all I could tell it was nothing but highlights. and she was extremely lazy she just wasnt having it she didnt want to do it. The vibe she gave me was that she went to Beauty School just because its all there was and she really does not like her job at all. She told me she didnt believe in herself to do that. I guess I appreciate the honesty but at the same time it was really rude of her how she could she just basically told me she didnt want to do that. The picture isnt fake its a actual hair stylist who is passionate of their work (and tells you how they do it ) and does things correctly maybe she should look for another job. It was a bleach and tone and I dont appreciate Jessica Alexanders prissy way of telling me she cant do something like that. Extremely unprofessional. Walked right out. Nobody would want a female like that touching their hair. Shes clearly over doing hair.

Went in for hair color. No one welcomed me when I walked in. I stood there for a second awaiting recognition and finally just sat down after I got a couple stares from stylists working. I was there for 20 minutes before my stylist came in late-15 minutes! The owner apologized I wasnt greeted. HA! Not even after they had all seen me. No one asked a single question or said hello, She said loudly that I just sat down like I knew what I was doing???. So, after my stylist walks in late and says hello, she then pretends to know of me? After standing there and looking around for the front desk girl. Oh wait, she/he doesnt exist. The owner wasnt going to recognize to everyone that I was ignored.I wanted a natural red color and showed pictures. I got a red wine color . They tried to correct it and only took out the orange but the red wine color stayed. The stylist Joanna was not well versed on color and hair types. She asked me so many questions, I should have listened to my gut feeling at this point. The 2 superior gals??, one being the owner, didnt know how to correct it or even come close, they gave her advice and told her what to mix. It was still some weird maroon/purple awful color after attempt 2. After processing again my head was becoming sensitive, so they gave me a conditioning for 10 min and said it was a favor to me for the inconvenience. Hair cut was sub-par, no flare or evidence of a superior cut at all. Again I got questions that were evident of not being able to read my hair...The price point is high for low level service. I had to get it corrected elsewhere because I could not wait for the awful color to fade. I couldnt be seen like that at work!The owner had another client come in with a color correction. She had purple hair too. She didnt look happy at all. When they were done with her it wasnt any better either. WOWGoing elsewhere for a colorist to know what she was talking about, how to mix what my hair needed to get there with a good color line, is well worth it. I spent $75 for color removal and 5 hours total at another salon.Urban hair lounge had no decency to offer anything to me after they found out my expense because of them. Joanna was rude and said we were done doing business together! It was only fair to offer product, or discount on haircuts for my son.anything..lol Did she even speak with the owner? I asked if what she meant was I am not allowed to go back, she never responded. I did nothing more but ask for compensation since I had to go elsewhere and spend time and money. I gave them a chance to fix my hair. They couldnt figure it out and/or have a bad color line and education. I had to reschedule my day on Sunday to spend another day at another better hair salon. Spend wise, dont waste your time with UHL. Customer service, if youre not happy with your punk hair do that they wont be able to fix, will only get you your money back and they will cast you away as if you were a problem child over their mess!!!!!!! OMG they dont even deserve 1 star. The pictures ...My starting hair color straight blondish color , 2 red wine colors were bad dye one and 2...The color I wanted is the natural strawberry blonde color. Not even close.

Got a balyage done and it was not blended at all very horrible, cant even wear my hair down. Talked to Ciara who was the one who did my hair and showed her the picture of how my hair looks straightened and her first sentence was Okay, what do you want to do about it. Very unprofessional, coming from a cosmetologist like myself.

I have been in the Clermont area for a short time and was looking for a good reliable hairdresser that has experience in highlighting. I am a previous hairdresser of twenty years so needless to say I am a very picky woman! LOL! On a recommendation and reading her reviews online I decided to give Jessica a try. She did not disappoint me! Jessica did a great job with my highlights she had a lengthy consultation with me before she did anything and we went over exactly what my specific needs were and what I was looking to achieve. And she not only listened to what I wanted but took great care in the quality of the results. She kept my hair healthy while still giving me the light blonde color I was looking for! She is a very sweet lady and truly cares about her profession and I would definitely recommend her!!
