After waiting with my 90 year old father for almost 2 hours in the small lobby and not seeing the 9 very sick patients that were there before us not be seen, we decided to leave and go to another hospital. This waiting room was small an full of very sick people being tested for covid. They were coughing constantly and needed to be separated from people with non contagious emergencies. There was no cleaning of any of the seats after people got up.We will not use this facility ever again.

Called ambulance to transport my mother who had been sick for over 24 hours and could not move or walk. She wanted to come here thinking the care level would be good. WELL we arrived at 11:00 pm and within 15 minutes she was put in a wheelchair with a sheet and sat there till 1:15 am when I went in and told them we were leaving and going to Forsyth. And some “nurse” behind the computer told me we would not be seen any faster at Forsyth that we should just stay there. Well after maybe 30 minutes at Forsyth she is in an er room snd getting treatment and tests done!! Novant Health Clemmons YOU SUCK!!! My husband went to this facility and waited 3 hours to be seen. Then left feeling like the doctor did not value anything he said. The doctor made my husband feel like a child, and didnt exam him. The next morning my husband fell out at work and had to be rushed to Forsyth hospital. We found out my husband had blood clots in his lungs. I dont recommend this facility, today could have turned out very deadly.

I want to give this place 1 star but that would be unfair to several of the nurses and few doctors I’ve seen who treated me well. I’ve been here several times this year for different horrible infections etc and while it took 4 initial visits to finally figure out what was wrong, the doctors were helpful. This was around May of this year. The last few times I visited here this month, two of the doctors in specific, Doctor Fling and doctor Wiggins were horrible and rude. I can’t even begin to describe the disrespectful, humiliating experience from both of these doctors but particularly Dr Wiggins. Not only did he specifically deny me a blood test I asked for (his words “Well I’m not doing all those tests”), he interrupted me while I was trying to explain what was wrong and why I felt like I was dying and insisted I had depression. I said no sir there is something very wrong with me-cuts me off won’t let me explain and insists I need to just stop talking and listen to him about how he is right that I have depression. I ended up in a different ER the next night because I was fainting still, couldn’t breath, and was unable to move, my blood pressure was dropping. Turns out I had dangerously low B12 levels and low blood sugar for multiple days at this point, which is the test he denied me because he claimed the turn around time was too long, when I got those exact test results back from the OTHER ER in 7 hours. So not only was I right about something being very wrong, he was very wrong for treating me the way he did and belittling me and my symptoms. Arguing with an ER doctor while I’m nearly unconscious is not something I ever thought I would experience in my life. So obviously will not be visiting this ER anymore, I’ll go to Davie Med Center. Like I said there are several nurses here that are very caring and great at their job but so are other nurses in better emergency departments.

Emergency room was like a third world hospital. I sat in the waiting room vomiting in a bag, making 10 trips to the restroom over the course of 2 1/2 hours before being admitted to an actual room. Then they put me under some level quarantine, like that was going to save the people I sat with in the waiting room for hours. I was severely dehydrated by that time and it took maybe another 20 minutes to get an IV hooked to me. Went for a stool sample, the nurse had to help me to the bathroom because I couldnt walk. She left me in there, I came out and had to shout down some other nurse to tell her it was finished. So she takes the sample into my room and sits it in the sink completely open for another 30 minutes. Every time that nurse came into my room she shouted at me to put my mask on even though I was having trouble breathing. She told me she was more concerned about getting what I had; even though she had a mask on, a face shield, full body plastic scrubs.... and yea the open stool sample in the sink. Asked the nurse to tell the doctor I needed pain medicine for my cramped stomach.... hour and a half later she comes back with morphine. I even overheard them talking about dismissing patients early to open up rooms. My wife kept calling to find out how bad I was, they kept putting her on hold with a rude attitude and saying they would call her back. Finally after complaining enough they brought a phone in set it on the table and said, answer its your wife and walked out. I believe I would have gotten better service in Panama and I dont expect my lab work back anytime soon. I have never had good experiences with Novant, dont waste your time go to Baptist on 801. I just had outpatient surgery at Baptist three weeks before and they treated me like a king.

When the Covid Pandemic began I was contacted by Novant Health asking if I would be willing to go to their Clemmons Medical Center Infusion Center location to have my 4 - 6 weeks maintenance for my port-a-cath and I agreed. Back in September when I was there, my nurse was asking me all of the standard intake questions and another nurse walked over and began making some derogatory remarks about another patients appearance and this just flew all over me, but I kept my thoughts to myself and just left. Two days ago (Nov. 3rd) I had my next appointment. The nurse who was asking me all of the intake questions was very nice and the young lady who took my vital signs was also very nice. Because of their kindness is the only reason I gave one star. Then I have the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with the same nurse from September and her name is Judy. She wasnt doing anything but inserting herself into my case. My doctor had requested some labs to be drawn which I had done before at Forsyth Medical Center with no problems but Judy said that couldnt be done and just kept on. The nurse asking me the questions did everything she could to keep me focused on her and I did the same. Finally Judy quieted down and I thought she was done.I looked back at my nurse and I quietly said, This is ridiculous because I know I had this done at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Could you please look through my history?. All Judy heard was the word ridiculous and she started again. I finally just picked up my pocket book to leave. The nurse that had been asking me the intake questions did her absolute best to try and stop me from leaving. When we rounded the corner, I told her that my leaving had absolutely nothing to do with her and I thanked her for her kindness. Then I saw Judy trying to peek around the corner to hear what I was saying.I even told the nurse standing there that she was trying to hear what I was saying but had to be childish and sneak to do it. All she had to do was round the corner and I would have told her to her face. Judy is everything a good nurse is not, least of all compassionate. If you look up Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center: Infusion Center, the first thing they say is Free Internet Access and free beverages & snacks, nothing about the care youll receive and Ive never been offered a beverage or a snack. What does that tell you?

How about the patients in front of you. Went somewhere else and neither novant medical center properly diagnosed me properly. Ten hours total and a weeks later I was diagnoses. My own first personal experience at Clemmons Medical Center a few years ago was not that great, and both the staff and the doctor seemed quite impatient and annoyed. This is before they ever got as busy as they are now, so Ill never understand why they were so rude and hurried. Fast forward to about three or four years later to today, (Fri)1/10/2020 when I took my elderly mom there for pain coming from the area of her pacemaker.. The staff was very kind, patient, and Dr. Shudimatti? (an Israeli name) had one of the best bedside manners I have EVER seen. He explained things thoroughly in a way that even my elderly mother could understand and he looked her in in the eyes patiently as he talked to her. He made us feel like he really cared, and took the time, which meant the world to both of us. My mom told him I really like you, and he smiled and said I like you too.. If that other rude staff is still there, they would do well to learn from the kindness of their other peers, because it really does go a long way...

All they wanted to do was gossip in their areas rather than care for my mom. I left the room while the doctor(Hill) came in to examine her and I come back not even 2 minutes later to her crying uncontrollably about how he treated her and how horrible he was. She had a hemmohroid* and it took a lot of courage for her to go(took a month). He looked at it and said he couldnt do anything and walked out. If she wouldnt have stopped him to ask questions, he would not have been a DOCTOR and explained himself. My mom told her nurse how she felt and the nurse went to talk to him, and he still didnt have the balls to go talk to his patient. If I were a doctor and a patient thought I had done something wrong, then I would do everything in my power to apologize! Ugh. Hate him.

However, I had to wait 2 hours before being seen by a PA, not a DR...I complained and they told me higher ranked patients went before me...which they did, several others. They apologized because they were understaffed that night. They took a mobile x-ray and told me I had probably torn a tendon in my shoulder. I asked about getting a MRI, they said they could not tie the MRI up, in case someone with a stroke was admitted. I went to OrthoCarolinas and they x-rayed my shoulder, then told me my shoulder was broken in multiple places, which required surgery with a plate and 10 screws. Clemmons ER told me to go home and do pendulum exercises...Thank God I did not listen to the PAs recommendations. I hurt too bad.The only reason that I talked to Clemmons Novant about this afterwards was for accidental insurance claim forms. I mentioned it to person in Claims Dept. They made a big deal about it, then they reviewed and declined to have any responsibility that they were wrong with their diagnosis. I guess they thought I was going to sue them... I will not go back to Clemmons ER, especially after them not apologizing and saying their diagnosis was not wrong based on circumstances. BS

I fell asleep at the pool (yes, I know - dumb) and got very, very bad sunburn. I had blisters all over my chest front torso, shoulders, arms and face. When I went in my skin was literally falling off and I was in tears from the pain. Robert Edward Bednar Jr, PA-C was the practitioner who saw me for all of 2 minutes. In that 2 minutes he berated me on how dumb I was and lectured me on how Ive increased my likelihood of skin cancer. He then walked out without telling me anything or letting me ask any questions. The nurse came in and told me I was good to go, and thats when I asked what in the world this practitioner was prescribing? I asked about pain management and the nurse ask what drugs were you expecting when you walked in here? Are you kidding me Forsyth?? Absolutely ridiculous and no way to treat a patient. Its a shame a practitioner like this has given a bad reputation to this facility... he should not be practicing medicine.

Rude doctors, not willing to help the patient in a kind caring way, and does very little to help fix the problem you came in for. They seem to have forgotten how they get their paychecks.

I waited for more than 2 hours and an hour in the waiting room and more than an hour in a room. Seriously how long does it take to get an ultrasound and some tests. If I was dying they still probably wouldnt care good lord.
