The front desk was super nice & friendly, and my hygienist ( Emily) did an amazing job! She was so kind and made sure I was comfortable the entire visit. Great office and staff :)

My Hygienist, Jessica D. Is wonderful! Very detailed oriented and made my first cleaning at UDA enjoyable! Can’t wait for my 6mo check up. Dr. Pryor also took the time to stop in and say hello even though I wasn’t on his schedule for that day. They really care about their patients and it doesn’t unnoticed!

This dental office and staff are by far the best I have ever used for my dental care. They are professional, caring and very knowledgeable about the latest dental procedures and products.

I would not recommend this practice. My daughter is 14 year old did have the best experience. I was not allowed to accompany her to the dentist room because of Covid and in any other place I have been deny of my right as a parent to accompany my children to see doctor or dentist. The office is not very accommodating of the needs of the patient.

I really dont like going to the dentist but UDA makes it bearable since it is a must. Dr. Meeks is great; especially if you need to be numbed. I was waiting for the stick and he was done. LOL

The staff there, are extremely nice. If you have anxiety about dentist offices come here they are wonderful at making you feel comfortable!

A very friendly staff! Ashley (I think is my hygienist, is very good and patient. Tabatha has been there since the office opened in Clemmons, I think and always has a smile. I do miss Dr. Rogers. 

Gentle and kind is how I would describe this practice. Everyone here is pleasant and attentive. They were very informative about the processes.

Liked the assistants we saw as well as Dr. Meek, but the wait time to be called back was so long! 30 minutes for me and close to 50 for my son. This was our first time here so maybe the wait isnt always that long; but if it is, I am not sure how I feel about this being our dentist office. I can spare that much waiting time.

Personable, professional doctors and staff. Very friendly staff right when you come in the door. My spouse and I have been going to University Dental Associates for 10 yrs and have always been treated well. I have every confidence in their doctors and staff. They are very gentle when doing their dental work. Explain dental procedures in detail and help you with preventive care.They also have a very comfortable and clean waiting room.

I used to like this practice but the dentist quit and things just got worse. I rarely see the same dentist twice and the dental hygienists change nearly every year. This is a mediocre practice at best. I cannot recommend them.

We recently moved to Clemmons and its very close to our house. Waiting time was more than anticipated, but very friendly staff. Any questions or concerns where answered quickly. We will continue to use them.

Dentist and assistant were perfect! It was my first visit and they made me feel very comfortable. The dentist is very thorough offering information concerning procedures, options, costs, and any concerns I had.

Dr. Patel is very good, takes time with each patient and does great work. She is very good with anesthesia, practically pain free; allows it to work before beginning any process. I have also been seen by Dr. Drew, he is very competent. I recommend either to anyone looking for a dentist.

The best experience Ive had with a dentists office since I was a kid. My hygienist, Jen (if Im remembering her name correctly) was extremely professional, patient, and extremely good at her job. She made things which usually cause me discomfort very easy to deal with. I hope shes my hygienist every time I come in! I have a tonof dental work ahead of me but if this experience is indicative of how future visits will go, I feel much less stressed than I normally would. The office staff were also excellent and helpful. They were very efficient and professional and were able to provide me with answers to all of my questions.

I felt this was the most comprehensive visit I have ever had with a dentist. Dr. Drew was very clear in his explanations and his dental assistant was also very nice and helpful. Im very happy that I was recommended to your practice by my wife and daughter.

I am no expertise to make judgement call on the quality of treatment as a patient. I would say they are friendly and sound knowledgeable.I do have actual experience of aggressive billing mechanism of this office. They send you bills again and again even when the claim is pending insurance. When you call and inquire, they will tell you to ignore the statement and wait. On the other hand, you will get statement after statement. Every time I get a statement, I would call and confirm if it is actually due because you will see a financing charge on the third statement. Eventually, I got a letter about delinquency and pursue of legal procedure when I was told not too long ago to wait for insurance clearing. Their explanation is billing statement is automatically generated and mailed regardless. Sounds like they have lots $ for paper, printing and postage.In addition to that, my actual experience made me realize that there is no communication mechanism between this office and dental offices of the specialists who work part in this office. Result is you will end up being billed twice for the exam. In my case, the actual treatment was done in the specialists office because of the time constrain and lack of needed equipment in this office on the day of exam.One bill is for the exam done in this office because I was seen here and another bill by the specialists home office. For the same exam! Double check all the procedure coding for duplicates yourself between the two offices, because they wont. There is no communication mechanism for transferred patients. When I asked them how come exam is included in the other offices bill, they dont seem to have a clue what should be done.When I challenged them for double billing for the same exam, being bounced between two offices and lengthy phone calls back and forth. I was eventually told one of charges is waved as a courtesy from the specialist?! Excuse me, why is it a courtesy when I refuse to pay twice for the same procedure? Why do I need courtesy after I have paid? I find that very insulting on the top of the insulting threatening letter about delinquency. I dont think delinquent patients call every time they get a statement.

When Dr. Drew was there it was great. However, the newest dentist had me in tears before it was all over. (Jan 2019). I’ve never been treated so awful by a health care professional. She was demanding and mean and I left in tears. It’s been 4 days and my jaw, tooth and feelings are still hurting. Awful experience

The staff & doctors are friendly and knowledgeable. I love that they have a great endodontist on staff so you can many procedures done in office rather than being referred out.

I called to schedule an appointment at this place because of all the 5-star reviews I saw online but let me tell you about MY experience. I called in and had to go through the “new patient” process, which is expected so no surprise there. While going through the process I gave all the personal info down to address, phone, insurance and SSN. That took about 5 minutes. Was I ready to move on to the next step? Nope. She literally asked me to repeat back every single bit of personal info because “HIPPA laws, and I can’t go back to the other screens”. Umm, okay? So after all of that and 10 minutes has gone by I go to schedule an appointment. “Are you in pain?” I’m asked. “Yes”, I reply, thinking it will get me seen sooner because I was in fact in pain. Guess again, first new patient appointment for someone IN PAIN is 3 weeks away. “Call back and try and get moved up later” I’m told. Anyway fast forward to appointment day. I showed up 10 minutes before my appointment, figuring there was probably paperwork to fill out. I’m handed a clipboard with a stack of paperwork that makes mortgage contracts look like a cake walk. I kid you not there must’ve been 20 pages to fill out, including the EXACT SAME info I gave when I went through the registration process on the phone, to medical questionnaires, and some questionnaire/marketing list asking about “are you happy with your smile”. If you’re going to have me fill out registration papers when I show up, why do you ask for the details on the phone? I fill out all the paperwork and play the waiting game. After 40 minutes passes my appointment time sitting there and remembering that I was told “new patient exams take an hour to an hour and a half” when I arrived, I knew I was going to miss half a day of work if I stuck around. I told the receptionist I had to leave and she said “well you can wait and I’ll reschedule you or you can call”. “I’ll call”, I said. Bottom line: I can’t recommmend going here unless you like redundant registration processes and sitting in a lobby all day waiting for your exam. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of one is that they’re all polite and maybe the exam isn’t terrible. But after what I went through just trying to get in the door, I’m not going back.

I have a terrible fear of the dentist. I have put off going back for 5 years due to the pain and fear. My last dentist used to prescribe anxiety meds before I would have to visit him. Dr. Drew and his staff at University Dental Assoc. in Clemmons are the best dentist I have encountered. They are very gentle and they let you know what they are doing before they are going to proceed. If you have issues they will stop immediately. You can even bring in headphones and listen to music so you dont have to hear the drill. My fear has subsided a bit and I realize when Im in the chair that they wont hurt me and they will be patient.

Everything went well. They were helpful and kind.

Its the welcomes and smiles you get beside the most important thing and that is the best dental care in Clemmons.
