We purchased a canopy safety bed from Travis Medical for our 3 year old son with Downs Syndrome. We purchased this bed in October 2019 after a very long and drawn out process which I understand is not Travis Medicals fault. We found out we were having to move our home at the beginning of February 2020 and needed some answers on whether or not we could move the bed ourselves without voiding the warranty or whether we needed a technician to do it. We contacted Seth Burton from Travis Medical several times with no call backs and finally gave up on him and contacted the branch manager at the Cleburne, Tx office Sandy Whitted to try and get an answer. No calls back from her either. Now it’s February 24th, we moved this past weekend and still don’t know whether we can move this bed ourselves or not. I’ve called AGAIN and now everyone that can help us is at some annual conference for the company called, ironically, “Travis Cares”! We don’t know what to do at this point, no one is calling us back and giving us any answers. All we need to know is whether we are hiring a technician or moving it ourselves. It’s so frustrating that a medical supply company that is supposed to be in business to service people with real medical issues doesn’t even care enough to give a return call!
