For someone who is an adoption agency and a foster care agency, they sure love making sure families dont stay together. Furthermore some of their employees like to threaten friends and families of those who are in their system. This is not a way a company should be ran

Great organization that donates clothing and supplies for foster kids. They could use more volunteers from the community.

Went to the Bradenton office for intake for our 16 year old. The program looks good but I know my kid will not cooperate

Kelly Rossi and this organization give their heart and soul to each and every child . The system does not provide basic supplies for children abruptly removed from their home. This wonderful organization makes sure these children have clothes, shoes, and basic supplies to restore some dignity and hope to a hurting child.

I have worked with Kelly Rossi of Eckerd Raising Hope, a division of Eckerd Connects and have been very impressed with her dedication and commitment to providing foster care children with basic needs such as clothing, shoes, even a bag to carry their belongings in. I have set up my organization to do volunteer work at one of their storefronts and I highly recommend anyone looking to understand the challenges they face to do the same. Raising Hope is just a small part of the overall Eckerd organization but my experience has been very positive.

Ive just read through these reveiws, they all say how terrible this place is when dealing with whats really important and then once somebody has hold of a child that the company tends to neglect routine check ups and fail to maintain constant care/supply drops for the children and the family supporting the child(s). Instead of low rating this place and complaining in a reveiw I feel the urge to reach out to the company and try to assume the role of being employed there. Try to not take down what the company is, but instead truly see the problems first hand, voice my opinion of change on the matter appointed, and work hard towards truly making the difference for the kids who suffer from this companys lack of empathy towards them. But I digress, my insecurities have a hold that allow me to see the silver lining but uncapable of growing near it. Somebody should tho... It would be nice to see it through.

Just terrible service. Poorly organized. I got out of foster care a couple months ago and my previous case manager was supposed to get the rest of my belongings from Wesley chapel. Ive been trying to get in contact with her for a couple of weeks goes to straight to voicemail. Then tried to contact her supervisor also went straight to voicemail. Just so unorganized.

Another business profiting from people who shouldnt have had children. Each EC child is a cash cow to be milked. EC is so careless that they placed a child in a foster home with a vicious dog, and the dog killed the child. The dog should be euthanized, Eckerd Connects shut down, and the foster parents imprisoned. As Michael Jackson sang, If you cant feed the baby, then dont make the baby.

Have a friend fostering a child and this group has been absolutely ridiculous. They were not forthcoming with the issues the child had, they fail to show up for appointments, seldom return her calls or messages and have put her in a financial nightmare because they are not providing for the child the way they should. Competely and utterly disgusted how the system treats people who are trying to help! Thankfully she keeps records of all these issues and we will make sure she is heard one way or another! This company needs to be investigated!!!!

While I believe their overarching goal is to help children, they lose sight of whats important in the process, and instead focus on petty and unimportant details.
