A few years ago, I had a big infected boil on my backside that burst on me so I went to Dunedin Mease Hospital for help. Well, it was one of the most painful experiences in my life. The nurse there supposedly gave me a shot to numb the area but I FELT everything she did to the point of yelling in pain.Well, that same boil came back over the years and yes this past weekend it became infected to the point of feeling nauseous with a fever. Im a vet and and I use the services of the VA, however, I would have had to go to St. Pete Bay Pines Hospital. So I called the VA and they said I could go to StatMed Urgent Care Clinic Clearwater for urgent care.Initially, because of my fever, they took a vial of blood for testing. Some results came out whereas Jodi, PA-C, felt the need for COVID testing...so we tested for COVID. The results came back negative of which I was relieved.Jodi, PA-C, learned of my past experience and gave me 2 shots in the infected area and asked me several times about my pain level. She was great....very professional. In fact the whole office was very helpful/professional. Jodi worked hard for approx. 30 minutes trying to get all of abscess tissue out of the area she lanced. I could feel the pressure but not a sharp pain. She cleaned it, packed it and had me come back in two days to look at the wound and remove packing.My second visit was with Rachel, PA-C. Rachel too was very professional. She removed the packing and found more abscessed tissue that needed to be removed. She removed it, cleansed and packed the wound. I will go back in two days to have them look at wound.I highly recommend StatMed Urgent Care Clinic Clearwater.

Was recently at STATMED URGENT CARE to have multiple family members treated for COVID. From the moment we arrived, the staff and the care we received was stellar.The office is clean, calm and comfortable.We were greeted by Dawn as soon as we walked in. She was professional, and signed us in quickly. Reily greeted us with a smile, she is very caring, and made us all feel comfortable in the exam room. The sick family members were examined very quickly and Xrays were done quickly and efficiently.Jodi PA-C is fantastic. She took the time to talk with us about recovery and treatment. My family was feeling better within 24 hours and headed in the right direction to recover. I cant thank STATMED and their staff enough.

I stopped in to redo a test for a UTI that my doctor, well known in the area, missed diagnosised a week ago. I had all the symptoms but was told no UTI. After all the news about Bill Clinton & his UTI leading to sepsis & possible organ shutdown I thought it would be a good idea to check. I still had symptoms & StatMed found a positive result. They forwarded script to my pharmacy which was ready by the time I drove there. Feeling better & everyone was so kind. In & out in 45 minutes.Thanks you guys. You could have possibly saved my life!

I am glad I went to StatMed for an ear infection. I was seen reasonably quickly but more important, they got to the point. Other clinics I have been to are more concerned with legal liability than patient well being. True. Of course its not just clinics. Anyway, I recommend StatMed. PA and Doc were both good. Desk staff was also good. This is a real review.

I went this morning for a pain in my leg. I was seen very quickly and was given a through examination. This will be my go to Urgent care in the future. Thank you for making it easy on me!

Best place hands down to go when sick or if needed a covid test. They are quick and hassle free. They bill insurance. Would definitely recommend this place over any of the other urgent care clinics in this area.

Going to urgent care with a sick family member is tough but StatMed Urgent Care Clinic Clearwater definitely took the sting out of it. They treated us with sincere compassion and courtesy. Urgent Care clinics are overwhelmed right now but the professionals at StatMed Urgent Care Clinic Clearwater were calm, cool and collected. I highly recommend them for all urgent care needs.

This is probably the most efficient and friendliest urgent care facility I’ve been to. I arrived at 9:15am and was in a room by 9:30. The front desk receptionist was very friendly. The PA was very thorough and extremely nice. After spending no more than 10 minutes in the room, I was diagnosed with an URI. A prescription was written and sent to Walgreens where it was ready by the time I arrived. No waiting! 5 stars!,

I love this place. Theyve always stepped up and helped me when other doctors couldnt. My most recent visit was with Rachel Embry. She was amazing. You can tell she really cares about her patients.

Despite being very very busy the staff remained friendly, calm and helpful. We were totally pleased with our experience there. And their medical advice was very accurate and practical.

This is the very best urgent care facility I have ever used. It was quite busy so a long wait, but that is not a problem when I know I dont have an appt and walk in. I was seen by P.A. Jody who was personal, professional and very thorough. The plan of care was decided as a result of our discussion and her expertise. I am already feeling better ( the next day). Labs and x-ray were included in the care with no extra cost to copay under insurance. I highly recommend StatMed and it will be my go to in the future if need be.

I cant give Troy and Jodi enough praise for the great care they gave my 87 year old friend. The kindness and concern given was way more than expected. I have found my new urgent care location!!!

My daughter broke a bone in her foot, our pediatrician recommended that we find urgent care since imaging would be available there. We have not used urgent care so we found StatMed. Everyone was courteous and professional, we were in and out in very little time. Glad I found them because with two active (swimming, track and boxing) 15-year-olds, I am sure the need will arise again and again and again :)

Highly recommend Statmed in Clearwater. They were all so nice and understanding for us out-of-staters with an unexpected medical issue. Wait time was very short and they were very helpful and efficient.

I have been to multiple emergency rooms for the same exact issue. Finally, I actually had a doctor, nurse, and staff that took the time to listen and hear me out. This place feels like an emergency room that really cares for their patients and doesnt just put a bandaid on and send you out the door! Highly recommend this facility.

If you want to wait 2 hours for a covid test. This is the place for you. Kept saying that they’re taking sick patients first. Which I’m not here getting a covid test for no reason, clearly I’m sick???? They just want you to pay the bill to be seen by the doctor & get you in first. Plus there was multiple people just getting covid testing and leaving. I would never come back here again. It’s a walk in clinic but you’re taking all other patients that came after. I understand everyone is working hard and overwhelmed but there must be some kind of better process of doing this. Completely unfair process and a waste of your day! Also a woman was yelling on her phone in the lobby like??????? Hate it here. Terrible service.

The staff is great but Dr. Jodi Coffee was beyond rude for the maybe 5 minutes she was in the room with me. The front desk, nurses and everyone else was awesome. She has the worst bed side manner and I have never felt like such an inconvenience. She had an attitude the entire time and was so so rude. DO NOT RECCOMEND.

Went to get a Covid test with my family 2 weeks ago. After a 3 hour wait (they suggested we walk around the mall while we wait, hows that for quarantine) they informed us it would be $600 for the 4 of us to be tested. Obviously we left and got a free drive through Covid test at Walgreens. This week, I have visiting family who had symptoms of a UTI. She was seen at StatMed last weekend and given a prescription, but it has not improved. We called to report the ongoing symptoms over 24 hours ago. Nobody called us back yesterday, today we called AGAIN and they say the provider cannot call us back until after 8 PM tonight. Which means yet another day of pain and possible worsening infection. Very nice people in person, very lousy substandard care.

I visited the clinic in Clearwater this week. Great, friendly staff who waited on me. I went in the middle of the day and only waited for 10 minutes. I saw Mark Muller PA and he was great. I felt confident he listened to everything I was describing and after several tests came to the diagnosis. I appreciated their help getting me an appointment for a follow up test at an imaging center right while I was in their office. Overall a great experience!!

I have been waiting here for over 2 hours and there are plenty of people infront of me who have been waiting longer , but a daughter of someone who works here came in 20 minutes ago , to get a covid test as well , she just got to go back to get her covid test , that is extremely unfair an highly unprofessional, we are all important just because your related doesn’t mean you should get special treatment .

As always, Stat Med saved the day. The staff is so friendly and attentve to my needs and I waited no more than 10 minutes to be seen. After intervenious fluids and a presecription for an antibiotic, I am feeling so much better. I would choose Stat Med over any other urgent care enter in the area!

Came in for evaluation and treatment of leg wound, that had become infected. Was seen by PA Jodi. Excellent care. Received wound care, X-ray, bloodwork, IV antibiotic, and discharge with script. I actually ended up there a bit past their closing time, and never felt rushed or like I was inconveniencing them. I am a paramedic, and an ER nurse. Highly recommend!

I was seen as a first time patient at this clinic today (4/14/21). All of the staff there were considerate, caring & very professional. The PA that I saw was Mark. I was so impressed.......he was very personable, knowledgeable & thorough. Awesome first visit.

Excellent walk-in clinic. They were able to x-ray my injury and provide prompt, professional treatment with minimal waiting time. And I really appreciate the fact that they never tried to rush me out the door despite my appointment running past closing time, when they all probably wanted to go home. I would recommend this location to anyone in need of a walk-in clinic.

Visit for xray after a minor accident. Wait time was under ten minutes. Place was very clean and appeared to have some updates since I was last there. All staff members were professional and caring. Everything was explained in detail. I was sent home with provisions I may need which was really nice that I didnt have to run to the store! This is my go to place when my Dr. is not available . Always leave knowing I received the best care. One of my physicians highly recommended StatMed to us years ago! Never disappointed in the care we receive.

I brought my son there last night after he got hurt at soccer practice. They were closing in 15 minutes, and still welcomed us to come and took such great care of him. The lady at the front desk, cant remember her name, was so sweet and super patient with us. Jodi, the PA, was very informative, explained the x-rays to me and was really good with a scared and hurt 12 year old. Cat, the MA, was so helpful with showing him how to use the crutches and explained what she was doing when she was putting the splint on. I would definitely go to them again, if ever needed.

Just came from here they were excellent from the front office staff to the medical staff. The place is very clean and runs very efficient. I highly recommend them!!!

What struck me first was how clean the facility is. The staff is very helpful as well.The healthcare providers were knowledgeable, and they recommended specific protocols for my ailment.

I went to StatMed because I got a splinter in my hand that I could not remove myself. There was no wait to be seen. They are in my insurance network so all I had to pay was a small copay. The people there were extremely friendly. They listened to what I was saying and explained clearly what they were going to do. In 20 minutes or so I was as good as new. I strongly recommend StatMed to anyone with a similar medical problem.

I went to StatMed today for a sprained ankle and I can say that the service was top. There was no wait, they were able to verify my insurance quickly, the process was easy and quick overall. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the doctor is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Definitely recommend this place if you need to take care of something health related promptly!

Showed up 20 mins before they closed and never felt rushed at all. They took their time with us and even sat and talked with us about options. My husband has been getting bad ear infections for years and she is the first to think it could possibly be more and even took cultures. Again, not one staff member made us feel rushed even though they technically closed. Would definitely go there again!

Although the doctor and her assistant were awesome!!!!!!!!!, I am giving them a 1 because there is no way to give them a zero. I called and was told that an office visit was 220 dollars and the most we would pay would be a little over 500 if we needed x-rays, WELL once we got there and checked out the 220 bill turned into 350 dollars they give us a 25% discount WHOOPIE 350 dollars for them to clean and infected cut and dispense antibiotics I was told it was being coded a level 4 LEVEL 4 to clean a wound, when I asked what they consider a level 1 charge the person I spoke to could not tell me what a level 1 was. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE unless you want to get RIPPPPPED OFF BIG TIME

I took my daughter here and we were treated very nicely. In fact she asked when she was going to go back because these people were so nice. It was nice that they take Florida Blue Select and see children as well. They were able to get us in right away and take xrays of her foot to see if it was broken and then were able to splint it. The special parking in front of the mall was helpful too so she didnt have too far to go on her crutches to get to the car. The next day they were fast to fax out the xrays to a specialist. Thanks so much.

Went to StatMed for a rapid Covid test and was wheezing pretty bad. The bit of wait was well worth it.Jodi was fantastic!!She listened carefully with my explanation of my history and was very decisive with what I needed. A breathing treatment, shot in the rump and some prescriptions sent to the pharmacy, and Im confident I will be just fine in a few days.Keep up the great work!! I highly recommend this clinic!!

We unfortunately have had lots of germs attack our household within the past month or so. We had to resort to seeking care & decided to visit StatMed urgent care in Clearwater. Not only did we have to visit but on multiple occasions, to receive care for 3 adults total. We had nothing but a great experience from walking in to checking out. I also would like to add that the PAC on staff, Jodi Coffee is an angel. She went out of her way to gather an extensive medical history from my father & treated him appropriately. On top of FIVE star care while we were there she took the time to follow up with a phone call the next evening after hours. This was something almost unheard of now a days & was beyond appreciated. Many thanks to StatMed staff at the clearwater location, highly recommend!

Outstanding care from Stat Med! I was in desperate need this evening. I called to find out how late they were open to find out they close in 15 min. Penny said come on over. I was greated with a smile by Penny and treated with such warm kindness. Penny took my info and did my intake. Cat took my vitals and never once made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. Cat drew blood and I didnt even feel the stick of the needle. Jodi was the PA on staff who came in and assessed my condition and symptoms. She asked questions and listened without rushing me through. She diagnosed and called in medication for treatment. I am so appreciative of these ladies for taking such good care of me with TLC and making me a priority. Thank you again!!

First visit here. Needed COVID testing done quickly and was having little luck finding a place which could help me in a timely manner. Urgent cares and CVS had no appointments for weeks. Came here and had a very short wait before being seen. Staff was polite but caring and thorough as well. They answered all my questions and reviewed everything with me. Well worth the time and visit and I would not hesitate to return here if I needed something!

The absolute WORST! I waited for 45 minutes to be seen (which was fine). But then sat in the exam room for another 45 minutes until I finally asked how much longer it would be, then the doctor walked in literally 10 seconds later, did her exam and didnt say one thing to me about what she found. MA then told me that the doc called in prescription for me and guess what? Nothing at the pharmacy. So I called statmed back and got put on hold for over 10 minutes and presumably forgotten about. The paperwork they sent home directly contradicts what action was taken so I dont know what is the best course of action for my health. I have NEVER seen a doctors office with this degree of incompetence. Also, no covid protocols, waiting room chairs are 3 feet apart. One more thing...they encourage everyone to give them a review on google. Im not saying that there is anything wrong with that, but this is likely why they have more positive reviews than other businesses that dont encourage reviews and therefore have more negative reviews (because unhappy customers are more vocal than happy ones). Dont be fooled by the high ratings and positive comments.

All the staff took time for me even though they were busy. Mark is thorough, kind, has helped me several times. He is just a really good Doc. I would recommend this Urgent Care location to anyone.

I went in on a Friday evening after finding out my husband had tested positive, and after going to 2 other urgent cares and Cvs which was no help at all. The nurses and dr were phenomenal. Very professional but yet had empathy and treated me as though I was their own. Explained everything to me and was very gentle with the process. I commend you all.

This was my second visit in the past two years and both have been absolutely wonderful. The staff is friendly, kind, professional and with the new addition of Covid incredibly conscious of CDC GUIDELINES wearing masks , sanitizer etc.Both my visits, for different issues, were resolved with no further problems. I cannot say enough about StatMed and If you need medical attention know you will get excellent care there.I’ve been a nurse for 50 years and can truthfully say, this is the best facility I’ve ever seen. May God continue to bless the wonderful staff there.

I reached out to Dr. Mark Muller with deep concerns and symptoms that my father was having from a month old heart attack and open heart surgery. Mark immediately made a call to my family, took immediate concern and explained the medication and possible normal side effects, which put my father and step mothers minds at rest that he was having normal setbacks. Dr. Muller has checked on my father periodically and my family is very grateful he was able to explain my fathers protocol to us as a second opinion. My family and I are very grateful to Dr. Muller for his Knowledge, Professionalism and Caring heart. Thank you again Dr. Muller.

This facility is amazing. The staff is friendly, professional, competent and efficient. I have been there twice for the same reason...a hearing aid tip stuck in my ear. There were different doctors each time who quickly and painlessly retrieved the tip. I would not hesitate going to this facility for any medical reason. I brought my 91 year old neighbor from Canada in for a checkup at StatMed in the Countryside Mall of Clearwater, Florida. She was very anxious coming in to a new place, but she left so buoyant and going on and on about how caring the staff and doctor was, how clean and efficient the facility was. She plans on being a loyal StatMed client for the six months each year that she is in the States. I was amazed that walk-ins were encouraged over waiting on an appointment...how quickly she was processed, brought in for examination and analysis, and how soon we were able to leave - with an understanding of her needs, medication ordered, and that certain fears she had were unfounded. Thank you all for lifting her spirits and contributing to her path for healing!!!

Mark is amazing! He diagnosed my 18 month old with pneumonia and immediately sent us to a higher level of care. He had been sick for a month, on different antibiotics from his pediatrician and they never did a chest X-ray. Mark Sent me to the hospital well prepared, I can’t say enough good things about him. He personally called to follow up the next day to make sure my son was admitted and receiving the proper treatment.I just recently went there for myself. Again, Mark and staff were extremely nice and professional. They are my go to!

Needed a rapid covid test. They dont take appts but said the wait was about 2 hours. Currently well over the 2 hour and it will still be awhile. Took our drivers license and ins cards.

DO NOT BLINDLY TRUST OTHER REVIEWS. I MADE THAT MISTAKE.Showed up an hour prior to opening for a rapid covid test and treatment for covid-like symptoms.Was 5th in line. They attempted to skip me and call others in first, I had to speak up to keep that from happening. I was FINALLY tested at noon, 3 hours later. Was then told, we dont treat only test. If you would like a sick visit, that is an additional $260 more than the $125 you already paid.I legit broke down in tears and they said Okay and closed the door.Both the words Urgent and Care are complete LIES.I guess this place is good is you want to waste 3 hours to get tested before getting on a airplane for Christmas.

The office and staff were 100% Covid compliant. Every staff member was considerate and efficient and was there to answer all my questions. Mark Muller, PA, was extremely knowledgeable and through in his exam. As I was an embarrassed patient with what I thought was a painful spider bite (yuck) on my thigh. It was!I received some scripts to go and was asked to call back in a week if site hadnt cleared up!Thank-you Med Stat!!!

I’m from out of town and what started out as a cold and cough got worse. I felt terrible, so my wife said we should find an urgent care. Easier said than done, since it was on Thanksgiving day. Luckily, with a few calls, we found that StatMed was open, so we went.I went and signed in. They were very friendly and comforting. Took me in after only a few minutes wait. I quickly was seen by Dr. Muller, who is obviously quite competent and his demeanor gives you confidence that you’re in good hands. He took his time, listened to my history and symptoms and immediately ordered X-ray of my lungs as well as blood tests. Best part is that they were done there, so no wait for results as would have been the situation had we gone to an hospital ER.Upshot was that I had a pneumonia. He offered to have me admitted to a hospital, but, as I was going home in a couple of days and promised to see my primary soon thereafter ,that wasn’t necessary. He called a prescription for an antibiotic and cough medicine for me, which I got as soon as I got to the pharmacy.As I said, he is quite competent and comforting, giving the assurance that he cares. Amazingly, and a new experience for me, he called me the next morning to see how I was doing. This is rare from doctors I have been seeing for years and even in the times they follow up, it’s a call from an assistant. Here it was Dr. Muller who followed up.I recommend StatMed and Dr.Muller when you need the kind of care that gives you assurance that it is both good and caring.

Double Charged! I paid in full with a debit card the same day I was seen. I actually paid more than quoted in the patient room. I am now looking at a bill two weeks later for less than I was charged for those same services. No one will talk to me about it or call me back. Penny Engel says shes the billing department, the office manager and a nurse handling patients with Covid. There is no one else for me to talk to. She says I will get Covid if I go into the office. I dont understand who can help me then... she said call back Monday at 10am to talk with the owner if I really want. I was double charged! How does this place have such a high rating?

Great staff and upscale office location conveniently located right in Countryside mall. I told Mark Muller, PA that I would be very impressed if he could figure out what was going on with me and he diagnosed me, correctly, from the front desk before I ever went in to an exam room. Color me impressed! Turns out I have shingles, who knew? But Mark and Penny had me in and out, meds called in, vitals taken , insurance processed in very short order. I was finally referred to StatMed after almost 3 weeks of fever, hi heart rate, dehydration, low oxygen levels, three Negative Covid tests and a useless visit to the ER. At StatMed, Mark Muller and staff listened and intervened. Within a very short time, I received lab work, an EKG, chest xray, and Covid antibody test. Diagnosis is bilateral pneumonia, and positive antibody test. StatMed called in scripts, which I started that night. By the next morning, my temperature AND heart rate were normal for the first time in three weeks. Quality of care here is excellent

My favorite urgent care I’ve ever been to, and the only one I will go to! They are thorough, efficient, and friendly, and able to do more in house than most urgent cares I’ve been to. I would highly recommend them.

Physician Janelle Griffith is the worst. Does not listen to patients and just find ways to be rude. I don’t know what is affecting such people to be normal.

The doctor took the time to explain every detail of my daughter’s treatment! This place is better than my primary doctor’s office!

I got sick on December 23 and of course my doctors office was closed for Christmas vacation. I went to StatMed and saw Dr. Mueller who treated me very nicely. He was very thorough and listen to all that I told him about my sickness. He gave me the prescriptions I needed to get better. His whole staff was very professional and kind. I did not have to wait at all to be seen. The clinic looks very small from the outside but it’s quite large when you go inside. I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic to my friends.

Very pleasant and professional staff - all. felt very confident about diagnosis and recommended treatment. pa was very thorough and knowledgeable as well as pleasant demeanor. i would defintely return to this location, if necessary, in the future.

We have been to StatMed UrgentCare at Westfield Countryside mall twice. Each time we have received excellent care in a timely manner. No waiting at StatMed like another popular Urgent Care in our area where we have waited hours.

Dr. Mark and his staff renewed my faith in urgent care/walk-in clinics again. I went to MedExpress the last two times and they misdiagnosed me BOTH times. Will never go back there. I havent been sick in 14 years so was super skeptical about embarking on this journey into fast medicine.Dr. Mark went out of his way to hear my full health history. He did a 24-hour throat culture instead of a quick strep test to be more accurate per my request to support me. He did an antibodies RNA and a PCR Coronavirus test because I expressed I was about to travel and had eldery high-risk parents JUST to rule it out and to make sure.He even went out of his way to an Personalized Comprehensive Antibiogram Test that checks EVERY possible antibiotic against your sample/culture to see which ones will be the most effective so youre not just blindly taking or guessing at the antibiotics being administered. I have been begging doctors to run this usually covered by insurance test any time I am sick and no one ever does.I have finally found my local doctor I can trust, protects me, and who goes OUT OF THEIR WAY to be beyond thorough. I left his office feeling better than I felt when I came in. Thats how medicine is supposed to allow you to feel: at ease.Thank you, for being in my Circle of Trust.

We came in on a Sunday because me and my wife both had the flu. We absolutely adore, and had the best experience with the Physicians Assistant Leila. She is a gem. If we could make her our PCP we would, in a second.She would be better than the one we have.Leila went so far above and beyond what any other medical worker ever has that we were stunned. She is also sweet, kind, down to earth, ultra attentive to detail and so very caring. We will now always return to this medcheck solely because of her. Thank you Leila, hugs.

Definitely will be our “go to” when needing an urgent care. They were quick, but gave me their full attention, were thorough and the entire staff was nice. Big bonus, they are in a mall so my husband and kids were able to walk around and stay busy while I was cared for.

Im so glad I decided to try out this location! There was no wait, and they took great care to ensure all my concerns were met. I received detailed instructions on the medication I was prescribed and why they prescribed it. I felt like they genuinely cared about making me feel better. Highly recommend!

Went to the staff met in Clearwater today and it was immaculate beautiful office front easy to find located at the Clearwater countryside Mall in between JC pennies and Dillards. The front office person was very personable and eager to help. I filled out three short forms and my wait time was less than 10 minutes I was seen quickly and efficiently! The physicians assistant was knowledgeable and very professional. I would recommend anyone needing any type of quick care to give this place a try you will not be disappointed.

The staff was very nice, attentive, and quick. Much better experience than I recently had at the bay care urgent care in countryside. Will be my go to urgent care going forward.

Their service and expertise was great.Penny who checked me in with out of state insurance quickly approved me by looking up others who have checked in with the same insurance.Mark the PA listened to my history as well as checking out my current issues. I didn’t feel rushed. I am encouraged by Marks concern, treatment decisions and obvious experience and expertise.

I have been to StatMed twice and couldnt be more pleased! The staff is courteous, friendly, and efficient. My waits have been minimal. Dealing with insurance is a breeze. Tamara, the PA, was knowledgeable, friendly, explaining everything she was doing and why. I couldnt be more pleased. Skip all the other Urgent Care facilities and go here!! Also convenient to Clearwater and Dunedin!
