Sad and disappointing experience. When I called to reschedule an appointment., I was told I could not reschedule or be seen because I did not call them to cancel my appointment. When I let them know my father had passed away on the day of my appointment, the office lady put me on hold. She then came back to the phone and said that they had to speak to Dr. Karp and would call me back. The office called me back the next day to say that they spoke with Dr. Karp and the only way I could be seen is if I put a $100 deposit down. When I told them again I missed my appointment because my dad passed away on that day and was on life support for that week, and that the lack of compassion and understanding was disturbing and that I would be filing a complaint. No apologies, compassion, understanding given still...... This is a doctor, you would think healing and helping would come first. We all have a story and some of us are in the chapter of sadness. Just a small simple act of kindness can make such a big difference.
