Brendan was so compassionate and patient with all our needs during the final arrangements for our son. He went above and beyond to make sure all our requests were perfect. I will be seeking his and the National Cremation Society services for the arrangements of my own services ahead of time so my family will not need to make any decisions at a time when it’s so hard. The director Brendon that was assisting me and taking care of my brothers arrangements was very kind, informative, patient, and reviewed everything several times and followed up with my questions and emails/phone calls. He seemed to genuinely care about helping with the process. I had to take care of all the arrangements from out of state through calls and emails, which could have been difficult, long, and impersonal.....but this was not the case. National Cremation made the unbearable a little more bearable during such a heartbreaking time.

Although it was an expensive contract, the attention and service which were provided were exceptional. There were no unexpected surprises. Everything promised was delivered.

Unfortunately my Grandmother unexpectedly passed away a week ago today. Fortunately for our family, and my Mother especially, my Grandmother had already planned and set up everything that needed to be done when it was her time to go. Matthew Moss and his team at National Cremation Society have been absolutely wonderful. My mother and I met with Matthew this past Tuesday. We arrived right on time for our appointment and Matthew was right there ready for us when we arrived. Their offices were nicely appointed and very clean. The office we were shown to was nicely appointed with options for families to preserve and remember their loved ones but was not overbearing nor did it feel like a market or a sales pitch. Matthew spoke in a low, calming voice and his empathy and understanding in our hard time was very evident. We were able to easily ask questions when curious. Matthew was great in explaining the next steps, what documents we would need to settle her affairs and in offering flexible solutions for receiving her ashes once the cremation was complete. They also offer an array of options to remember those who passed. I had no idea we could have beautiful glass art made with a small amount of ashes nor did I know about the available jewelry, pendants, etc. available to remember my Grandmother. I am so happy I was there for my Mother and was able to go to the appointment with her. Not only for support but also so I was able to learn about their many remembrance options and take the weight of that off my mother in this hard time. I highly recommend National Cremation Society in Clearwater, FL to anyone in need of help in their tough times.

Showed up for info lunch that had been booked for weeks. We are interested in getting more info. However, I thought it was strange no one texted, called or emailed confirmation after the first call. Arrived before the time and the lady had already left. Seriously ?

My dad ordered the urns of my mom who passed from covid two weeks ago. they forgot one of our minis and the one i received was so poorly packaged and the cotton they put in it was hanging half way out of it… i am not out to ruin anyone’s day here but come on :/

Our funeral director, Brendan Barry, was compassionate and truly cared about us as we were grieving over the loss of our loved one. He was very understanding and helped us complete all of the arrangements in such a way as to lessen our stress. We appreciated everything he did.

Thinking about death is not pleasant, yet we all will eventually pass. I purchased my Cremation plan during a lunch and learn that the company offered. The representative, James was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate throughout the session. I believe my purchase will give my family the ease they deserve during such a difficult time. On top of this, I will have time to plan and document my desires for my family, including leaving them a voice message they can listen to.

After the process was completed and I took the ashes of my mother for her burial, they called to see if I was doing well and offered their assistance if possible.

I was very impressed of well how well they handled a very difficult situation. The staff was very compassionate.

I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. My mother died on Saturday night, they called me Sunday morning saying they had her body and asked when I wanted to meet with them. I scheduled a meeting for this weekend and went today thinking I was picking up my mother’s ashes. However, when I got there she had not been cremated because I had not signed the correct paperwork. NEVER was I told that I needed to sign paperwork before they could cremate her. I NEVER would have let this happen had they explained the process properly to me, as they did not explain anything to me. This means that my mother has been in the morgue for 8 days and possibly will be for 4 or 5 more days once everything is done. During the meeting today, the representative never said sorry for what happened or expressed condolences for my loss. During this meeting they were also trying to sell me prepaid arrangements for my own funeral. To be honest this whole thing felt more like a sales pitch rather than a meeting about the death of my mother. I was just so disappointed in the whole process I left in tears. I find it impossible to ever recommend this company to anyone.*** Since this I have spoken to Dena and she was able to get things situated and my mother was cremated within a day. She was very kind and helpful. This helped with my bad expierence.

This is my second experience with National Cremation Society. My Mother passing away September 2, 2019 and my Father June 20, 2020, who was a WW II vet. This is one place you never ever want to give a rating to because that means someone has passed but being we know life doesnt last forever.I must give this place a 5-star rating I was there today for a service for a friend of mine! The staff was very sweet and awesome and kind! The place is well a lit they just need a little bit more room for her very large group that we had we we Spilled Out into the Hall! What we did go down the hallway to listen to it over the speaker that was working there in order to hear the service once again thank you for having a very very nice establishment just one place to really dont want to ever have to go but as we all know nothing lasts forever were only human!

My parents signed up for the national plan about 10 years ago. Mom passed years ago, Dad passed end March (as we should all wish to go, without pain, problems, ready and immediately). They handled EVERYTHING at a time in history when I couldnt even get into their building (or Dads). Believe me when I tell you, THINK AHEAD for your loved ones. Let them grieve while someone else handles everything start to finish. Call the 800 and thats it. Dad saved just under $3000 with the inflation. The plan covered retrieval from other countries and they loved to travel.

My son passed away in FL, while I live in NM. Matthew Moss with National Creamation Service was compassionate, kind, gentle and clear in communicating with me. He helped make the entire process almost painless.

Lisa and her team are absolutely amazing! My grandfather recently passed and none of his affairs were in order. My mother and I finalized all of the funeral arrangements via phone and email from Colorado. Lisa walked us through every step with patience, kindness and compassion. She assisted us in organizing all of the military honors for his service and she took great pride in making sure every detail was perfect! These are such difficult decisions at a terribly sad time and Lisa and her team made the entire experience much less painful. I highly recommend their expertise!

I am so glad we pre-planned our cremation with this company. Payment plan was convenient and no pressure sales representative. My husband passed in June 2018 and I didnt have the worries and stress about what to do next. It was so nice to have it all taken care of at a time of stress.

This is the second time I’ve dealt with the staff at National Cremation Society in a year. On March 24, 2018 my husband of over 53 years passed and Matthew was the director who helped me and my daughter. On April 7, 2019 my mom passed. Dena was the director who has helped me this time. Both were very compassionate in helping me deal with a very sad time in my life. Dena has been especially helpful since having two very special people pass in such a short period of time has left me almost inconsolable in my grief. She was very understanding of my tearful utterings as she lead me through the process for my second time. She was concerned with how I was doing and making sure I had seen my grief counselor. I thank them both for being there for me as I dealt with the process that needed to be done.

I had the absolute worst experience here when I tried to cancel my mother’s creamation policy that they wrongly sold her. She has demensa and was tricked into this policy. When we tried to cancel we were thrown in circles on what we needed to do to cancel it. The receptionist went and got the sales manager and the manager to try to use sales tactics to scare us into keeping the policy. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS YOUR MONEY!
