DO NOT GO HERE. Not for hair color. Especially if you are blonde. Trying to write a review nice enough that it doesn’t get taken down. I just moved down here and thought to try this place to get a root touch-up of my ash blonde highlights. Well all my roots got dyed Cheeto orange and I paid upwards of 300 dollars for this. My new stylist at Salon Lofts said it will take 3 sessions at least, to fix this.Joy is the one who did my hair. She cut it bluntly straight across many inches shorter than we agreed upon when I asked for a V-cut trim. She also was pretty condescending and rude to me. I will say that Grace the owner did try to fix the issue after I complained. However she just put lowlights over the orange which washed right out. Going here cost me so much money, time and embarrassment over my appearance. Please save your money and go elsewhere if you care about your looks.

Grace was absolutely amazing! I called in the morning and was able to come in later that afternoon for a hair cut. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and put my anxiety at ease. I would highly recommend going to her! Also, everyone has masks on and they were social distancing, which is a plus.

What a wonderful place. Ive been coloring my own hair and not getting it cut for 3 years. I finally decided I needed help and Grace came to my rescue. What a beautiful job she did for me. Ive already made my next appointment with her, and while i was at it I made an appointment for a facial. Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming, it was such a great experience. Five stars isnt nearly enough for the service I received today at Metro Hair Salon. Not only did Grace allow me to be scheduled on the only day the shop is closed, she also gave me one of the best cut and colors Ive ever had in my entire life. Extremely knowledgeable, and superb attention to detail. I was in the chair for over four hours and this sweet woman held a conversation the entire time, going over every step with me in detail as we talked about everything under the sun. And best of all, no more bad hair days! Ive definitely found my salon. Thank you Grace for my beautiful blonde locks! Will be back in the future.

DO NOT GO HERE! I went for the first time on Thursday and although the lady was nice she didnt listen to what I wanted at all. Told her I just wanted a haircut all the same length and even pointed to where I wanted it cut to. She made it A LOT shorter then what I wanted and put in angles. She kept talking about how easy my haircut would be... well I guess not since she couldnt even get it right. Save yourself the trouble and money and go somewhere else. I for one wont be returning and Im super annoyed how Im out 60 dollars for a really bad hair cut.

Grace is the best! Lovely to talk to, reassuring and brilliant at hair cut and styling. I will be back in the New year to have some color put in and another cut, and Im sure the results and service will be just as excellent as my first experience here. I think I have found my new hairdresser in Grace :)

I’ve been going to Grace for 7 years and she’s the only person I trust with my hair. She goes above and beyond to be accommodating of my schedule and is always able to squeeze me in (even at 7 AM on a Wednesday). Talk about client centric! Not to mention, Grace is so well trained, that I don’t even ask/tell her what to do, I just tell her that I trust her and let her do whatever she wants. I always get compliments on my color, cut, and style. She’s transformed my hair and I would never go to anyone else. If I could give a rating higher than 5, I would.

If you looking for a professional cut, please dont waste your time or money. The stylist did not seem skilled, and did not listen to what I wanted.

I soon went to Metro to get a much needed professional haircut and boy was I thrilled with the cut!! Today I went in for a cut and decided on the spot to let her color my hair. Little did I know this place was going to be my full time salon... I came in one day to get my eyebrows waxed and was taken by Graces personable attitude. She was so sweet and honest. I then came back to talk about extensions, color, and cutting my hair. I am the most picky person ever when it comes to my hair. But something told me to trust her... She is so talented with the color, what am I talking about?! She is talented with everything! Grace has became like a family member to me, that I truly adore. I love coming into the salon just to say Hi because she brightens my day. My hair is super curly naturally and she made the impossible possible. I had an absolutely wonderful experience here with Lee. I dont exactly have the healthiest hair, and the vision I had was very big. Lee took the time to work with me and helped me figure out what would look best with my skin tone, face, and style, all the while keeping my vision in mind, and my hair healthy. What came out was probably (if not definitely) the best style of my life. I would recommend this salon and Lee.

Grace is amazing! Everyone in the salon was very nice! I had my hair cut and colored in preparation for a very important day coming up, and it came out better than I imagined. The color is beautiful. And the cut is exactly what i asked for. Grace was knowledgeable and great at what she does. I was offered a beverage upon entering and again when I finished the first. Joy and Abbey always does our hair, and they never disappoint. Joy also does my facial treatments. They do a fabulous job. They are both friendly, courteous, and quite comical at times. My family adore them both. I will never go anywhere else.

I went to Grace to have my hair fixed 3 days before I got married. (another salon did not listen to what I wanted and ruined my highlights) I was so upset when I called for an appointment, she got me right in and made it look better than I even expected!Regardless of how I ended up with Grace, I will be a life long client. Grace is beyond skilled, and has such talent and a love for her craft. She has made my hair look healthy and better than it ever has and I can not praise her and the salon enough for a wonderful experience. I had a great experience with Metro Hair Salon and their stylist Joy. I needed corrective coloring and Joy was very patient while we spent the entire afternoon fixing my hair. Even though they had to bleach my hair, it looked healthier at the end of the day than it has in a while. Everyone was very kind and friendly, I will definitely be returning!I have recently also gotten my eyebrows done by Joy and it was unlike any other eyebrow wax Ive ever done. She really cares about doing a good job and they look great.

There are not many hair salon in the Clear Water area and of the few Metro Hair salon has the best service and establishment in the area. The staff is very knowledgeable and experienced in the beauty industry and it shows in their work. In addition, the products that they use in house and the products that they sell are amazing. Ask for Grace or Anthony they are awesome!!!

As a regular for the last two years, I would not trust anyone other than Lee with my difficult hair. Not only did he effortlessly take my dark, nearly black hair to a gorgeous silvery blonde, but he did it all with a charming smile, walking me through the entire process. Even after I home bleached and destroyed a third of my hair, he was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about how to approach a recovery, recommending products and routines. Lee is a gift that your hair will thank you for.

I was very nervous the first time I came here as I am very picky about who does my hair as I have had too many bad experiences. I had been going to the same person for the past year up until they moved away. My girlfriend introduced me to the owner Grace who is my new full time hairdresser. Though this seems to mainly be a womens salon, they are still great for guys who want a quick yet great haircut. Grace always gives a quick and perfect haircut. I never have to worry that I will be sitting in a chair for an hour, nor do I have to worry she will be so quick she makes a mistake. I dont review many places, but Grace and her salon are sure worth my time. Dont hesitate to stop in.

Metro Hair Salon and Spa is AMAZING! I went there and got the full treatment. I received a hair cut and color by Kassie, a full massage by Renee, manicure and makeup by Christine, a facial by Bonnie, and an Ion Protein Shot treatment by Grace. The whole team at Metro Hair Salon and Spa are sweethearts who will do anything to make you happy. I am in love with my new hair, the facial and massage were unbelievable, my nails and makeup looked great, and the Ion Protein Shot made my hair SSOOOO soft and healthy again! Anyone who is looking for a great staff with lots of experience needs to go to Metro Hair. I had a great time and love the results, as will you!

I absolutely love going to Metro Hair Salon and Spa. Grace does such an amazing job with color treatments to ensure my hair will look and feel healthy afterwards. Grace knows her stuff and always applies the correct mixtures for each individual hair type and texture, as she does with my daughters hair. Customer service is excellent, Grace never over-books me, only works on one client at a time, works around my busy schedule to fit me in quickly, always offers me a drink, takes the time to blow-dry and thoroughly straighten out my very long hair (this is key) while engaging in great conversation, and always make me feel valued and relaxed : ) Thank you Grace for always making sure I walk out looking refreshed, beautiful, and happy!

Joy did my manicure and facial Tuesday evening at Metro and I have been extremely pleased. I spent Thursday picking and cleaning strawberries, Friday went kayak fishing and my manicure has held up through all of that! My skin felt wonderful after the cold stone facial and it was very relaxing. I work in Customer Service and I felt the tension lift, especially around my eyes and forehead. Ill be back!

I love Metro Hair Salon, and Grace my stylist is a great. The salon is impeccable. Everyone is friendly and customers have always leave very pleased with the results. Im so happy that I finally found a salon that I can feel real comfortable at, and my classmate is the one who recommending the salon.

Just a note about the service I received last night. With an appointment I arrived 5 minutes early for my blow out, only to stand looking at the receptionist for at least 4 minutes with no acknowledgement. Then the same lady that ignored me, is my stylist to do my hair. Sitting at her station I notice cut hair all over the counter and floor, she asks what Id like, and I say round brush with the waves away from my face. Post wash, she sections my hair and starts to work. I think the entire 45 minutes I was in the salon she may have said two sentences to me. As a new client, I expect my stylist to ask how much product I like, what my preferences are, I got nothing. She literally picks up a bottle of cheap hairspray and starts to spray it all over my hair. Being 12 weeks pregnant, Im very sensitive to smells and I have to tell you that not only was the spray overpowering, making me choke, the smell was terrible. The blow out itself wasnt bad, although she didnt turn it away from my face, she did the opposite. I wish this establishment all the best, but I will not be a client.

My God, the reviews are right. I havent been in yet, I only called to ask many questions, and Joy was nothing but delightful and informative. Assuming I go through with my ideas, I will be happily looking forward to the time spent here.

I had a great experience with Abby.I wanted to go gray after coloring for decades.Thought I was looking at a months long transition.She took me to the finish line in 4 hrs.She was totally professional and it being her first attempt at this was getting input throughout from fellow pros.Its beautiful.I will be coming back.Looking forward to my ultrasound facial this Thursday.The salon is spotless.They offer wine....

Way to expensive. I received a simple shampoo and cut and it was 50$. I understand I have long hair and it is thick, but that price is outrageous for a trim.

I had a hair disaster. I tried to color to rid grey and dark roots. The light ash color I was trying for turned my blonde hair copper/orange on top and grey/green in back. Just Horrid!Thank God for Abby, the beautition that helped me! She new just what to do to fix it and was very kind in explaining exactly what it would take to get it done.I feel so grateful that she was there and her next appt wasnt for 2 hrs.Thank you again Abby for a job well done!

Wonderful experience!! I love Metro Hair & Spa, great service, so much knowledge and overall excellent! Grace ombred my hair and I loved it! She also restored my hair from the damage I had done by turning it orange and basically taking out all of the moisture from it. She dyed my hair and corrected the color changing it from the terrible orange I had left it to a beautiful carmel color that is exactly what I was looking for. I only trust her with my hair! It looks fabulous and totally recommend making an appointment!!

Ive been going to Metro Hair & Spa since it first opened & wouldnt change. Grace (the owner) has always done a great job on my hair. She has coloured, highlighted, given me exstenions & wash/blow dry twice a week when Im in town. I am always pleased....all the staff is friendly & even the coffee is great. Grace loves her coffee & makes it great, always a fresh pot! My husband likes me going there because not only do I always come out looking great but he drives me there & directly across the parking lot is a bar/resturant. So he always goes for a cool beverage while he waits for me to have my hair done. Ive also have great massages there & above average waxing. I was trying to find a Salon that was equal to a GTA Salon in Clearwater & Im thrilled I finally found it! Lots of Free Parking & centrally located just East of I #19 on Ulmerton, N side in Largo. Try it you wont be sorry!

I do an excellent job in my Haircut and color, In addition the products she uses are of very good quality I am using the Argentine products that she sells in the salon and it is wonderful my dry battered hair and in addition frisado is finished now it is soft and moisturize a pleasant atmosphere I recommend them 100 percent grace speaks Spanish 🎵🎵👍👍
