I have been dealing with back doctors all my life, born with spina bifida, first surgery at 3yrs old, grew up in CT, and have been in Florida for past 15 years, had one of my 5 back surgeries through Florida Spine Institute and the surgeon i had was great but he left shortly after my surgery, he moved back to Tennessee, but after that I had to deal with DR HANNA , this guy is a total nightmare, most disrespectful unprofessional Doctor I have come across in my 36 years on earth, Ive dealt with many Drs for 33 years straight and never had been treated so badly, not only did i leave and let them know how horrible a an experience it was with them, but for saying that Dr HANNA black balled me from any doctors in a 20 mile radius, no one would take me as a patient once they found out i was his ex-patient, I did finally find good doctors in St Petersburg, FL, but what a horrible doctor and truly just a horrible individual, I never did anything wrong, they did accuse me of taking amphetamines, but i had no idea what they were at the time, come to find out( on my own ) it was because of me taking over the counter Claritin-D for my allergies, sold at Walgreens no prescription needed!! So I had figured out that comes up on a drug test, meanwhile Dr HANNA had red flagged my history with failing a drug test, so I told the doctor that the next-time I was there and his response was you should have told us before, that i was taking Claritin-D and he wasnt gonna fix my file, how was i supposed to know over the counter had illegal drugs in it, thats the only time I have ever had been accused of drug use, in 33 years of dealing with all kinds of doctors, all because i took over the counter allergy medication!! Dr HANNA just has an issue with life, he thinks hes a god because he had control over you, nevermind how they treat you like a criminal cuz i was young, but hey i didnt ask to be born with Spina Bifida ! But they sure know how to make you feel like your a bad person, because i deal with so much pain, i cant sleep, cant do anything at all, Im in pain all day everyday !! But its not like i had a choice, or like i was faking an accident or something he just suffers from Napoleon syndrome and takes it out on innocent patients!! Hope this can help you when deciding on a doctor, save yourself from the stress and frustration I went through for 3 years !!

I started with Dr. Hanna about 10 years ago. I moved away and came back recently and was so happy to become his patient again. He is a pain manager expert. I highly recommend Dr. Hanna.

Superior experience w/ Dr Hanna! Wow, what a great doctor let me tell ya! Very passionate about his patients and listens on what needs to be done to keep you comfortable and not in pain.. The Staff was EXCELLENT and vary caring over at FL Spine.. It was my 1st visit so I had some paper work to fill out.. After I was done I turned in all the forms and it was probably about 20 minutes before they called me upstairs.. After I was upstairs, I only waited about another 30 minutes before I was seen by Dr Hanna... I would highly recommend this Pain Management doctor..

The most amazing experience with doctors from this practice! After a 3 year search for the right doctors! I found Dr. Hanna, Dr. Figueroa, and Dr. Webb! They have my pain under control & my EXTENSIVE neck surgery was more than just bearable, it was as pleasant as any surgery can be! I had front & back 5 diskectomy with cages done! So, pleasant is not a word one would use for a description. Let me assure you they more than care about each & every patient! They are always very busy! That also should be an explanation about them as doctors! Thank you for EVERYTHING all 3 of you have done for me. Im on my way to having my quality of life back!

Since I have been coming here, my body is improving very much. I am walking better,walking longer, Cleaning my house, standing longer, and raising my leg. I am able to bend over without pain. I have told many people about Dr. Hanna and his treatment. I thank God for him and his team.

A fantastic doctor. Wife and I visited separately. Unfortunately, everything else about the place is just awful. After checking in, you sit in the front waiting room. Then they tell you to go up to another waiting room. No windows in the second waiting room.So how do you tell them you have arrived? You dont. Periodically, someone sticks their head out the door and grabs forms from random people. Did you wait there for an hour while someone walked in 2 minutes ago, but they get the form to the nurse before you? Well, tough luck, they go first. Not to mention they forget your appointment, lose track of your medication, and TRY TO PRESCRIBE YOU $1500 PAIN PILLS that are basically the same as advil.Want a terrible experience? Go to Dr. Hanna. The only pleasant part was commiserating with other patients in the waiting room about how bad the office was.

After being diagnosed with CRPS for over 9 years, my medical care is my first priority. After researching Dr. Hanna and his practice, I decided to move 1,200 miles to have an expert to treat me. I couldnt be happier with my decision. Dr. Hanna is an excellent physician and also has a caring heart. He truly is dedicated to his patients, and improving their quality of life. The office staff is amazing to deal with, I can always count on receiving a smile from them to brighten my day. I highly recommend Dr. Hanna for all of your pain management needs.

The wait time averaged 2 hours easy. This is not an overstatement at all or a one time event. I went here for maybe less than year. I only stayed that long because I wanted to give him a chance to find a solution for me. It didnt work out for ME and wasnt worth the wait. I thought when I first got there he must be the best because so many people go and wait. I mean the place would be packed and it was obviously to me they over book time slots, well thats my opinion. Either way, the quality of service wasnt good enough to out weigh the extremely long wait times for me.

Dr Hanna and his team are amazing after six years of doctors not knowing what’s wrong with me he was able to determine that I had CRPS and I’m now able to have a functioning life again .I’ve been a patient there for two years and I can say Dr. Hanna is there to help everybody. He loves all his patients if there’s ever a long wait or there is an extra appointment scheduled at the time it’s because somebody had an emergency . He will do anything he can to help his patients . Has been times where I had an emergency and they are so graciously got me and so I didn’t have to end up into emergency room.I am completely happy and satisfied with my care there for the last two years I don’t ever see myself going anywhere else for my Pain Management needs. Too expensive for people with a small pension.One injection of $ 150, waiting time too bad for a prescription you have to wait 2 hours, you only see the doctor at first visits.11/27/19 witing tim 2h and still no doctor.

Dr Hanna is wonderful, compassionate, understanding and excellent in his field! The only downside is how long you have to wait most days. Its better going either in the morning or first appt in the pm.

I was in two car accidents and had to see him through a lawyer (they are a scamming team ) which pass poor patient and client to each other. He injected tones of pain killers and some other injections to me without numbing my neck and back with no result , just making money for the lawyer and himself. He is one the man who DOES NOT care about a human being. If you want to go to his office make sure to stay there for a day or night , HE runs a business not taking care a patient. After two years being between Dr. Hanna and the lawyer office , I lost the case (even those car accidents WAS NOT my fault) . I strongly believe in Karma. Dr Hanna , you havent done anything for my pain and you also made my pain worse and I have to struggle for the rest of my life ( I wish you going through some difficulties in your life because the way that you did the worse thing to my body.

First visit was a bit long..Everyone was pleasant and the Dr was very attentive to my issue and pain needs. Waiting area was crowded later in morning.

Dr. Hanna is not the problem, but his office is insane. 2 to 3 hour wait times and the lady who takes his calls, Donna is just plain rude. Will not go back there. The mess outweighs the good of the physician because there are other great physicians with better run offices. I sat in a waiting room one day with 3 other people all saying they had a 2pm apt with Dr. Hanna. How do 3 of us have the same appointment time? It was 3pm at this point and 430 pm before i was even seen. Not sure if he allows the overbooking or if his staff just does it because they can?

It takes for ever to see a Doctor at the spine institute, they really need to work on that problem, the wait times are horrific. However Dr. Hanna is really skilled at what he does. I had major back surgery 2 years ago which corrected a lot of problems that I was having. How ever I was left with some new problems resulting in tightness and lower back pain and fatigue. I was referred to Dr. Hanna who performed a R A ablation which alleviated all of my symptoms, no prescription pain killers needed at all. The affect of the ablation lasted 6 months. Im in the process of having the procedure performed again by Doctor Hanna. The wait time is worth the reward.

Dr. Hanna was very thorough at my first appointment. The wait time was ridiculously long, I waited over two hours to see the doctor after a ton of confusion about where I was supposed to be. The billing department is horrible, they double billed my insurance company then after 7 months, I got a bill in the mail even though i had already paid my max out of pocket for the year. When I called the day after I got the bill, the lady in the billing department told me she was putting in a collections notice since I was refusing to pay. She told me that I hadnt reached my deductible at the time of the appointment and I was responsible for it, then she hung up on me. The billing department is very low class, just like the office decor and cleanliness. I will never go back there or recommend them to anyone I know.

I broke my pelvis last year, recovered, then months later had incredibly painful sensations from my hips, my thighs, and down to my toes. My nerves were recreating the pain of breaking my pelvis all over again and I had sharp shooting pains and hypersensitivity to anything touching my skin. I spent time bedridden, in a wheelchair, and was personally shamed for limping. Thanks to God and Dr. Hannas IV Ketamine Treatment I am now walking and can even walk up 3 flights of stairs! The Lord and IV Ketamine by Dr. Hanna for 10 days gave me my life back!!! Since the Ketamine treatment I have found work as a Realtor selling houses in the area and am looking to continue living an active lifestyle!

I Absolutely LOVE Dr. Hanna and his staff of excellent nurses. I suffer from CRPS/RSD type 2. Ive had CRPS since my car accident in 1994 but was unable to get properly diagnosed until after my brain surgery in 2005 where a nerve was damaged as the tumor was being removed. My occipital nerve. Not to mention all the nerve and bone damage I got from my car accident. Dr. Hanna sometimes has long waiting times but in my humble opinion...its WELL worth the wait. I started seeing Dr. Hanna last year in 2017 and I received ketamine infusion treatments for 7 days. Thanku Dr. Hanna for a successful IV treatments that gave me 12 entire months of remission. Complete remission with NO PAIN MEDS. I would Highly reccomend Dr. Hanna to anyone who is searching for a well educated doctor in crps also with many successful treatments. I cannot say enough about Dr. Hanna for he is the most truely caring Doctor Ive ever met since my diagnosis in 2005. I have an appt coming up on Dec 11th 2018 and Im beyond excited to schedule my next ketamine infusion treatments at his facility. Many blessings to his entire staff and patients.

Too bad I am unable to give Dr. Hanna a fig fat 0 which is what he deserves. Treated as just a number and not as an individual, I also witnessed harrasement there as he is rather comfy with his staff!! Dr. Would not give me the correct treatment plan and just relied on his injections mostly which for me, dont work much I have that much pain. The Dr. is more of a socialite than a respectable Dr., sad!!!

Avoid at all costs. Their process is just awful. You will wait in rooms for hours. They have no way to determine who comes first or tenth. I was pre-approved for a medication, then charged me over $2,000 after the visit, after telling me it cost under $200. Please, stay away

Disregard the one star ratings unless you are a negative person who cares more about wait times than results. Many people are just opiate shopping to mask their pain. After 25 years of progressive, debilitating pain, Dr. Hanna and RFI treatments for spine and IV Ketamine for Fibromyalgia gave me my life back. Four years of drug-free recovery? Anyone with a brain would gladly wait a few hours to see a Doctor with that gift of renewed quality of life.

I have been with Dr Hannah for over 16 yrs. Will not go any where else ever again. Moved to be closer to our kids and grandbabies. BIG mistake. I have a lot of back, neck,hip ECT..all joints and fibro,lupus,ECT... After a year of trying to find a specialist to take me, We moved back. I absolutely love Dr. Hanna and his staff! I was suffering from excruciating pain and symptoms for 2 years, and no one had any idea what was wrong with me. After numerous visits to different emergency rooms, seeing different doctors and specialists, being on about 16 different medications, I became so desperate. Physical therapy helped me to get out of my wheelchair and able to walk longer periods and strengthen my spine and muscles some. Before I couldnt even dress myself or stand for more than a minute. My spine was completely crooked and I could feel the nerves in my legs. It was such a scary and extremely painful feeling. This went on for 2 years. I got better but would always end up with horrible episodes which I later found out were CRPS flares. The pain was so excruciating I thought about ending my life numerous times. I would scream and cry everyday. Just moving or getting up, even walking to the toilet, sitting down, or showering. I just couldnt. And my legs and feet felt like they were on fire and also cold and numb at the same time. I cant explain what was happening to my body, but after 2 years of being misdiagnosed, and actually getting worse, Dr. Hanna was the one who diagnosed me and got me on the right meds. I went from being on 16 meds to taking about 6. And the meds he put me on actually started to help after a couple of months. I even do the ketamine infusions and that helps with my CRPS flares tremendously. My pain never goes away but without the help of Dr. Hanna and him putting me on the right meds and giving me the right treatment, I dont think Id be here today. And I truly mean that. He really has saved my life. While my CRPS doesnt go into remission and I still suffer from pain and symptoms, the treatment and meds help me to be able to function throughout the day. I have to take everything slowly and can only do so much. But I would still be in a wheelchair and not be able to dress or even bathe myself if it werent for Dr. Hanna and physically therapy. I still use my wheelchair but only after walking for about half an hour do I have to use it. Before I couldnt stand at all without screaming. The wait time to see him is very long but imo its definitely worth the wait. The staff is also so kind and amazing once you get to know them. I know many people complain about the wait time and staff, but you have to remember hes a very well known doctor and has many patients coming from all around the world to see him for his ketamine treatments. The staff and him truly care about their patients, but you also have to be patient with them. They go through a lot of stress also dealing with so many patients, and also caring for the patients doing ketamine treatment in the back of the office. Many people only notice the packed lobby but dont realize the stress everyone behind the door is also going through. I highly recommend Dr. Hanna, but keep in mind you have to be patient, and be prepared to wait hours to see him. It may seem ridiculous to wait hours to see a doctor, but if a person like me and many others from around the world that suffer from this horrible and most painful disease known in this world can sit and wait to see him, then I think many of others can do it too.

The time my mother waits to be treated is outrageously long. I understand that these doctors want to make as much money as possible in a day, but having a patient who is there to be treated for back, hip, neck pain wait for 3 hours shows no care or concern whatsoever.

Where do I begin? My wife was diagnosed with RSD about 3yrs ago after haveing a simple procedure done to her left foot. She had a Morton Neuroma cyst removed. Well lets just say this procedure changed our lives forever. Together we have been to countless doctors to find a solution to her SEVERE pain. This pain is by far the worst anyone can comprehend. At one point this year we found a doctor Kirkpatrick, located in Tampa Fl. Hes a real good doctor but not very personable (hes pretty damn mean if you ask me). He did a few spinal blocks on my wife that were somewhat successful. They lessened her pain to some degree. My wife desperately wanted to have her left foot amputated, thinking this would eliminate her pain. Dr Kirkpatrick does not accept health ins so hes extremely expensive. He charged me over 6k for the shots in her back. He then wanted to do Ketamine infusion therapy which he believed would help her immensely, but he wanted 10k. I dont have that kind of money so again she suffered until we found Dr Hanna. OMG what a doctor. This is by far the most compassionate doctor I have ever met in my entire life. He performed the Ketamine infusion therapy for my wife, he did also accept my health insurance. My out of pocket expenses were $80 yes not a typo $80.00. Plus the prescriptions of course. Well were done with an 8 day plan and my wife is actually now putting weight on her left foot with no pain at all. This has been the most successful treatment we have found. I absolutely LOVE THIS DOCTOR HANNA. I would refer him to absolutely anyone dealing with chronic pain issues. This doctor will take care of you with a personalized plan suited just for you. All of the ladies in the office were the nicest women around. This is far and away the absolute best place for pain management you can find. I hope my experience helps you to make the right decision for you. This doctor actually made me cry when he told me what my out of pocket expenses were gonna be and he hugged me and said hes not in this for the money. Hes in this to help people and help he is doing. My wife had a (11/30 am) appointment waiting room was packed; seen Dr at (4 PM ) received prescription at 5PM NEVER NEVER GO TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE CHANGED MY ONE STAR TO 0 STARS

Dropped my wife off at 1:30 and called at 3PM to find out when she would be ready and was told that she hadnt gone in yet. We did not leave until after 5PM. This Doctor has no control over his office.We are the customer, why are we treated this way????
