I wanted someone who had treated someone with my issues. She said she had, I went to see her and after the first visit the results were amazing! My husband and I were trying to conceive for about a year prior to seeing Dawn for fertility issues. After suffering an early miscarriage we first consulted a fertility clinic and were we had a less than 10% chance of conceiving naturally due to our age (late 30s). They told us our only option was to consider IVF. At that time that was not something we were interested in trying. I had always been interested in acupuncture and eastern medicine. I decided to seek treatment with Dawn because I liked that she had experience and success working with a lot of couples to increase fertility.Dawn was wonderful! She was very thorough as a medical professional. She has a calm and caring personality. Her office is very relaxing which made the acupuncture treatments enjoyable. She also prescribed me Chinese herbs and reviewed my medical history and medications. She gave me great suggestions regarding medication and lifestyle modifications that I would not have thought about otherwise. After about 3 months of seeing Dawn once a week I become pregnant! I continued to see Dawn weekly though my first and second trimesters for weekly acupuncture sessions. She also continued to advise me on any pregnancy related concerns. I was lucky to have had an easy pregnancy and in the summer of 2020 I gave birth to our son! I can’t thank Dawn enough for providing her services to helping me get (and stay) pregnant. I arrived in the office of Dr. Dawn Potter in early summer 2019. I had recently suffered my second miscarriage, a twin pregnancy. I had also been diagnosed with a Mullerian Anomaly that would require surgery in July. Both my physical body and my spirit were completely ravaged; within minutes of sitting down in her office, I burst into tears. Dr. Dawn was patient, sympathetic, proactive, and kind. From that point on, I began seeing her weekly for acupuncture appointments, diet discussion, and herbal refills. At the end of the summer, I was pregnant for the third time and very nervous after two prior losses. Shortly into my first trimester, I was put on bedrest for a large subchorionic hematoma (blood clot in my uterus). I continued seeing Dr. Dawn and it resolved by the 20th week. In Mid-March, my appointments came to a reluctant end due to the pandemic, and I gave birth to a baby girl in late April 2020. I am beyond grateful to physical healing and mental/emotional peace that Dr. Dawn brought to me prior to and during a difficult pregnancy. I am so thankful for her expertise and would be happy resume my sessions with her in a heartbeat. I truly believe she had an powerful impact on the outcome of my pregnancy. At 39 years old, I am not sure if another baby is in the cards for us, but she will be the first person I go to should we try again.UPDATE: In July 2020, I came down with a case of mastitis and reached out to Dr. Dawn for herbal healing. Dr. Dawn is incredible. I came to her for arthritis pain in my hands and back. 3 treatments and nutritional advice later, my inflammation is 1/2 of what it was and I am no longer on pain meds. After treatments I have no pain in my whole body and as a surprise, my range of motion in my neck is like it was in my 20s before 3 car accidents. Each treatment is focused on my needs including acupuncture, massage, laser treatments, cupping, oils and some other things I am not even aware of! I am telling all my friends about how good I feel. I was not very knowledgeable about acupuncture until I started working for Dawn. I broke my ankle and dislocated my knee some years ago. Dawn explained to me how acupuncture could help me. I started getting treatments and I must say she has made me a believer. Now if I am on my feet for long hours I am still able to walk, before I could not. I would have had to rest a full day before I could walk normal again. I believe the treatments help my blood circulation so that I dont swell up as much anymore. I am a leukemia and stem cell transplant survivor. I have had a lot of issues since then from all the medicines post treatment and during.
