Dr A will cancel you as a patient if you miss 1 appointment. He canceled my chart when he was over an hour late to call me for my virtual apt. Appointment was at 9:50 he called at 10:57. I then call back to reschedule and I am informed he has canceled me. So i am left without my mental health medication which puts me in a dangerous situation to develop mania and or a depressive episode. I will report this to the medical board. He does this to other patients.My therapist Stephanie on the otherhand is a wonderful therapist. Avoid Dr A.(Edit). Dr A canceled my Therapist!!! Leaving me with no mental health care

I love this place. The receptionist is kind. The therapists are wonderful. Some days you will have a wait but I just use that time to get caught up on other things

Honestly disappointed in how people interpret things and then post about it negatively reflecting on the Dr. and his staff. I have been seeing Dr. A. for several years now and yes, you may have to wait to be seen but maybe it’s bc he is listening to someone else just as you expect to be listened to when it’s your turn. Are you thinking about the person with the appointment after you that is having to wait longer bc you’re taking an extra 6 minutes? And then the domino affect kicks in. Dr. A has literally lived through hell and he still wakes up everyday and does his job trying to help us. No he will not sugar coat just to give you warm and fuzzies. He is real, he is kind and he is honest and in todays world that’s a rarity. And whoever said his front desk staff is rude, surely did something to deserve it bc Margie and Lori are FANTASTIC! This office is not a perfect one but they deserve more respect than what they’ve received on here for sure!

The Therapists may be good for kids under 10. Adults... Forget it. I know more about personality disorders than the refuse from 3rd rate schools that are employed there. The psychiatrists is only in it for the money. If he spends more than 15 minutes with you, he charges more. I understand he has gone through unbelievable tragedy, but if he cannot do his job properly, he should stop. This bis essential ruined my life. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Stay away.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Trying to find therapy for my son during a pandemic and stressful time and she refused to allow le to speak with a supervisor or attempt to help.

I would leave no stars if possible. The receptionists were terrible! Back story: I use to see one of the therapist- Stephanie a few years back for severe anxiety, depression & PTSD. Once my problems were well controlled she saw fit that I no longer needed intensive therapy but said that if I ever needed anything to reach out to her.. that she will always be there for me. Well, Ive contacted the office multiple times to be told over & over that they will give her my note, then that they forgot to give her my note, I even went into the office to see if maybe that would get them to finally have her contact me... I STILL have not heard anything back over 2 weeks later. I desperately needed to get ahold of her. They kept reassuring me that she was busy & would contact me when not in a session. They could of AT LEAST contacted me to let me know she was unable to accept me as a patient again instead of leaving me waiting, hoping to eventually hear back. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for therapy. This office will only mislead you & waste your time.

Horrible, walked out if this office having a complete breakdown. Went in there to get help and was made to feel like an idiot. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They’re supposed to be helping with your mental health, and they actually made me feel lower than low. I am absolutely blown away by the way this doctor talked down to me. Disgusting

We have had nothing but good expirences here. Office staff is always friendly. It’s a therapist appointment so we expect unpredictable start and stop times. We never wait for an unreasonable extended period of time.Cynthia is wonderful! She is very helpful and gives lots of good information and advice. She is very good with people. I am so thankful for her and this practice.

I contacted this group to reach out for help to cope with a medical crisis in the family. I had to wait 2 weeks to meet with a counselor. The appointment was Friday evening @8:20pm. I received a text at 5:49pm that evening from the counselor I was to meet with stating that he will have to cancel! He was stuck in traffic. I texted back asking when can I see him (still we have not met yet). He said Ill check the system and text you back. Now 5 days later, no response. What a terrible way to run a Mental Health Business! Not even sure how to react to this. Seems like reaching out to the business would be a waste of time!

The only problem that I have had with this office is that it is very difficult to get through on the phone. The therapist is fantastic and he makes all kinds of accommodations for us and our schedule. We do not have to wait to be seen or anything. I give them stars. We would not continue to go there if they were not doing a good job. My daughter is developing trust with her therapist and that means way more to me than some inconvenience of being a few minutes late etc.

I love this office, although you should always count on waiting to see Dr. A. When dealing with a child that has a serious mental health condition, I dont have the time to mess around with doctors who dont understand what they are prescribing and you feel blamed for your childs meltdowns. Dr. A gets it. The wait for the appointment is worth it, when I know my child is getting the care he needs to save his life.

My daughter was referred to them by our family doctor. It took over 3 weeks for them to call with an appointment, and the earliest appointment was over a month out. My child desperately needed to be seen so we agreed to it. About a week before her appointment we had a family emergency and had to go out of town. I called to reschedule her appointment and was told they didnt have anything open until TWO MONTHS OUT! This place deals with mental health and youre making people wait months before being seen and treated? What kind of place are you running? If I could give zero stars I would!

First appointment Dr was over an hour late.. ok things happen ..second appointment got a fifteen minute lecture about a missed appointment charge during my allotted. After several calls they admitted their mistake and apologized Then a month later get billed for the same missed appointment. Multiple calls again, I also notice add on charge on my first appointment bill was told that was because I ran over which I did not. After researching code I find code is for a translator. None needed or provided. Office manager and billing dept had no idea why I was billed for this, just continued to say its just an add on charge. Enough abuse already cancelled remaining appointments asked for an email confirmation, they had no way to give me verification of a cancelled appointment. So who knows what Ill see next?

My kids see Dr B and I couldn’t ask for a more patient and engaged Dr. Completely worth coming to see him.

I have to say Ive been coming here about 3 years. Dr A by far is the best psychiatrist Ive ever seen. He always takes his time and listens and does not rush you out. I think some of the bad reviews are because he does not just hand out medicine he gives you the medicine you need and theres alot of people that are addicts and he is not going to give you what you want Espically if u have addiction problem. I also started taking my son here a year ago. I have to say Dr A has helped us alot and I appreciate everything he has done for us. Yes it took awhile for my first appointment but it was worth the wait and once you are a establish patient you can be seen when need. Yes you may seat there a hour or longer but to me it worth the wait.

Had my daughter go see Cynthia Starling. My daughter indicated jealousy behavior cuz I was having another baby. My daughter was wanting attention and told Cynthia some lies. Cynthia called CPS and there was NOTHING going on in my household. Because of her, she destroyed my relationship with my parents and my family. She should not be so quick to judge people. People please get a second option before trusting this lady...

I am so grateful for the help they have given my little granddaughter. With everything she has went through with her mother, it is a nice safe place for her to talk and workout her issues.

****Avoid at all cost**** If you’re in need of psychiatric help this is the last place on earth you want to rely on. I called January 30th and left a message no one called back so I called again the next morning the receptionist told me the first time I can see a doctor is March 15th. I even said I am having suicidal thoughts and she just said “I’m sorry that’s the first date”. Avoid this place at all cost.

I’m not a doc or therapist lol I’m just a person with alot of mental issues ! You need to report them ! They should NEVER treat another person!!So evidently I can’t comment on your comments or add you to this! Or can’t figure it out lol Also I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciated your comment, you saved me from sooo much !I gave up on therapy & have ONLY been taking my meds... which is a great hurdle to overcome itself with the right drug (s) then the correct dosage & what side effects can be tolerated....I’ve gone thru so many physiologists, I had 1 a few years back but she was Army Reserve & got called out 😞 I’ve finally worked back up to trying again, group therapy to start... I moved up here 2yrs ago & have no idea where to go !?? Thanks to your review I know where NOT to go and you probably saved me the frustration that would have lead back to giving up on therapy again maybe for good!I know this is a long long comment but I want you & ANYONE, EVERYONE please READ this! It shows you that 1 small gesture can have such a large impact even on a strangers life!PS.... If you find a great place for therapy please let me know!!

Waited an hour after scheduled appt time, left without being seen... Apparently this is a habit from reading other reviews. Will find another doctor for my son... :/

The wait will ALWAYS be over a hour. I talk to the doctor for less than 5 mins.

When I first started going, this place was awsome. But quickly found out...they are always behind. I typically wait no less than 45 min and Im always early. But, I dealt with it due to them accepting my insurance. But my final straw was when I was made to feel like the drs personal issues were more tragic than my own. I wish this practice nothing but the best, but I hope that they can get it together.

Waited two weeks to be seen. Got a call today 3 hrs before the appointment only to be canceled on. When asked when for next appointment it was going to be another two weeks. When ask if someone else could see her I was told NO. OMG. Maybe I should send them a 25.00 cancel fee to send to them. SMH. (Shaking my Head) I wish I could have given NO STARS !
