My first experience at this office was outstanding! The receptionists was nice, Nurse Darla, and the anesthesiologist (forgot her name) all were outstanding! The procedure performed by Dr. Mitchell Mahmoud was professional, and I appreciate his demeanor during the consultation. I highly recommend him and this location. Thank you again!

I recently discovered RMG and immediately knew I had made the right choice! From my first visit to my colonoscopy/endoscopy…everything has been great. The staff is some of the best I’ve ever encountered at a doctor’s office. Everyone was so friendly and very professional. They answered all of my questions while putting me at ease as I was worried about my ongoing stomach issues. Dr. Mah’moud is who I’ve been seeing and he is wonderful. I’m very happy to be a patient at RMG and I can’t imagine going anywhere else for my gastrointestinal needs!

Appointment was easy to make. A bit of a wait for the procedure which is tough especially when fasting but bearable and apologies were made. Natori my recovery nurse went above and beyond. She was very informative while at the same time she was friendly, funny and attentive to both myself and my driver. She was very appreciated and definitely stood out with her patient relations skills.

I just had a procedure done here at the Clayton location. Dr. Jag did an amazing job. I really felt that I was in good hands. Karen, Donna, and Brooke did a great job making me feel less nervous. Francine Lapiche (PA) was very helpful throughout the entire process. I wish I had a family practice I enjoyed working with as much as I did this place. Thank you all for everything you do. You all deserve 10 stars, but 5 is all they let me post!

I had a wonderful experience outside of a scheduling mishap. From the front desk check in process, to prepping for my procedure, to Dr. Jagannath, Nurse Donna, Toerie and everyone else that dealt with me they were very professional. I dont have to go back but I would recommend them to anyone that is looking to have this procedure done. Keep up the awesome work ❤!

Colonscopy by Dr. Kerry WhittStaff was very friendly, informative, and professional. Dr. Whitt is adept at performing the procedure and communicates well the results. My only (very small) complaint is that Dr. Whitt was just a little late arriving for the first procedure of the day.

She helped me with an issue and showed genuine concern as if she had known me all her life. The office location in Clayton is very easy to access without all the hassles of Raleigh traffic. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I highly recommend Clayton Endoscopy Center for any of your endoscopic needs. Dr Jagannath is an awesome doctor and the entire team is very competent, professional and friendly. I would like to thank Gail Benton and the rest of the team for their outstanding services that they provide. Medical procedures can sometimes be scary and cause high anxiety with the patient. These folks are very good at calming your fears, explaining procedures, working with insurance companies and making the patient feel like they are part of the family. I was extremely pleased with the excellent medical care that they provided and their friendly service. Thank you Clayton Endoscopy!!!

Was referred to RMG by my cardiologist. Had an endoscopy done based off of me requesting it due to my symptoms. Endoscopy went well and came back clear. However, my issues were still left undiagnosed, and seems to be an issue with me asking for other tests being performed on other legit possibilities. Ive had palpitations, nausea, shortness of breath, and digestive issues. Also a tightness in my upper abdomen area. I was recommended by Dr Whitt to go back to cardiologist(AFTER ONE TEST PERFORMED), to wear a halter monitor. Also was recommended beta blockers, while in recovery from endoscopy. No diagnosis! Just here, try this medicine??! I expressed ALL my symptoms to Dr Whitt and the nurse and it seems the only one being heard is palpitations. I asked to have my gallbladder checked and was told I could make an appointment for a SECOND consultation. Take another day off work, pay for another 10 minute talk(to express same symptoms). I have good health insurance and have been blessed enough with good health over the years so havent needed to see any Drs much. Im confused and frustrated as to why, ON MY DOLLAR, it is such a problem to run a few other tests on other reasonable and possible issues that could be causing my symptoms that Ive been dealing with for months now! Thank you so much for your concern and your valuable time, as it concerns to my health and well being.

I was referred by my physician for a colonoscopy and the entire process with the Clayton Endoscopy Center was handled professionally and with my best interests in mind. Since my insurance didnt cover the Rx for the prep, they had a plan B that worked for me. Everyone I encountered on staff was professional and courteous. Dr Jagganath was great and his nurses spoke very highly of him. There were no problems at all, everything went smoothly and quickly. They even called me the next day to check on me. I would recommend this doctor and his staff to anyone.

While a colonoscopy is no ones idea of fun, this office and Dr. Hutzenbuhler, make it as pleasant as possible. They are friendly, appropriately humorous, and in general very helpful and supportive. I was seen by them for my own procedure, then accompanied my husband when he was seen. I left my coffee cup there and they even called to let me know they had it and I could pick it up. That was incredibly kind.

We moved to the Clayton area from TN approximately a year ago and was actually due for a colonoscopy the month we moved. I had used the same dr in Knoxville TN for 10 years so I was somewhat apprehensive about a new doctor, etc. Had colonoscopy in May 2019 and I’d have to say this was the best one ever. The prep was not as brutal as some I’ve previously had in the past. Dr Whitt and the entire staff to include RN & CRNA were great. Thanks so much for a great experience. So glad you are my new gastro dr and team.

Worst doctor I have ever seen!! Staff are a bunch of snobs, doctor had worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen, been tying to get this medication filled for over a week that was suppose to be filled the day of my endoscopy, they bug you for your copay but can’t fill a simple prescription that allows you to eat and sadly my issues are still undiagnosed!! Everytime I eat I vomit violently and get stomach pain to the point I’m in the floor curled up, was told it must be acid reflux and left it at that.. Mind you, I’m stilling vomiting 3-4 times A DAY, everytime I eat! I have never had a doctor care as little as Kerri Whitt! Worst experience with a doctor!! I highly suggest finding someone else!!! I have never made a review before so that should tell you how bad they are.. I was compelled to create an account just to make this review! Now as a father of 2 who rely on me for food, I have to worry how I’ll be able to work until I can eat without vomiting. How do you work, have the energy to work when you can’t eat and are burning your esophagus daily?

One day before my scheduled colonoscopy Gail called to verify the procedure was still on even though we had had a snow event in the Clayton area. I didnt want to start the prep process and then find the office would be closed the next day. Thank you, Gail. Got there the next morning and Gail checked me in and updated my insurance info that I had messed up. Within 5 minutes I was taken back and the staff continued with excellent care. Dr. Whitt came in after the procedure was completed to explain his findings and action he had taken. Recovery was also a plus and before I knew it I was headed out the door. Today they called to see how I was doing and to remind me to call them if I experienced any problems. My doctor, at Clayton Medical, recommended RMG Gastroenterology and I would highly recommend this medical group should you be in need of this type of procedure. Thank you!

I was referred for a screening colonoscopy by my primary care office. I had put it off for several years, afraid of the prep and the procedure itself, but this experience was not what I expected.First, I received excellent, easy to follow instructions AND a coupon for the prep medication through the mail.Received a very comforting call from Gail a couple days before the procedure, who assured me that Dr. Whitt was a GI God and immediately set my mind at ease. The day of the procedure, I was hungry and dehydrated from the prep, but the team made me feel better right away. Karen, my nurse was warm, reassuring and placed my IV catheter painlessly.Allison, my anesthetist, was confident, friendly and held my hand when the sedation began. I woke up refreshed and rested, and had a cool drink in my hand before I could ask.Dr. Kerry Whitt was wonderful. He explained my procedure thoroughly and made sure he answered all my questions. I felt my anxiety lift just by talking to him. He spoke to me and my husband right after I awoke and told us the good news that I was healthy and would not need another scope for many years. Great team, great office!

Had a very good experience...and I was very apprehensive after my last colonoscopy in NYS. There, I was wheeled into the room where the procedure was to be done and then had the IV inserted for the anesthesia. They couldnt figure out why I was still awake...until they discovered it wasnt going into my vein. When I awoke after, the doctor came in and talked to me about the results before I was fully cognizant. They never called my husband in; instead they let me get dressed by myself and then escorted me to the waiting room where they announced (to everyone in the room) that I was done. At RMG Gastroenterology, the entire staff was very caring and when they came out to get me in the waiting room they spoke to my husband and told him theyd be out to get him as soon as I was awake...and they did. Cant say enough about the excellent care I got...from beginning to end!

Dr. Whitt and the team at RMG Gastro. are great. As others have said, he explains things well and even more importantly, it has been my experience that he treats his patients very well (I have heard this as well). He is concerned about both my health and my ability to feel well while being treated. Always listens and acts on my concerns. Thanks Dr. Whitt! Highly recommended.

This was my first EGD ever. The staff made me feel very comfortable. Upon arrival, my anxiety was sky high but the nurses sense of humor quickly made it vanish. All the staff seemed to be down to earth. I like that alot about a practice. I had zero complications afterwards, not even a sore throat. I feel as though Dr. Kerry Whitt did his job with thorough patience and used caution and care. The anesthetist Jacquelyn Carter knows exactly what she is doing. One minute I was aware of everything and the moment I turned my head to listen to Tech. Stanley, she hit me with anesthesia. Thumbs up was all I could do at that point.I highly reccomend their practice, especially for those in fear of anesthetics and procedures!
