Went in there 9/23/21. Shopping for new glasses. If I’m spending my money, I want the glasses to look right. Well I guess I was taking to long because no one would help me after I choose my glasses. I was the only one in there. Prejudice.

Last year I would have given this business 5 stars which is why I returned when it was time for another eye exam. I had a 5 star experience today with The Dr, the young lady doing the glaucoma screening (Kathy), and the young lady fitting glasses. The receptionist was a 1 star experience. I had just opened a new pack of masks in my car and put one on to go in for my appointment. She refused to let me in until I put on a ‘clean’ mask she was trying to pass to me on a tray while staying as far from me as possible. Despite me explaining my mask was brand new and very clean, she insisted. She then asked questions about being quarantined which I understand, and took my temp which I also understand, but I was definitely feeling like a huge germ invading her space when she sprayed my hands with something (she didn’t say what) and told me to briskly rub my hands. Her entire demeanor sent a ‘you are going to infect me and I don’t want you here’ message. As soon as one customer got up and went to the back, she ran over and sprayed the chair she had been sitting in all over and wiped it down. I can see wiping the arm rests but last I heard you can’t spread COVID-19 from the area of your body that sits in a chair seat.I came close to walking out because she made me feel so unwelcome. I think it’s interesting that when it came time to take my debit card to charge $399 that it was instantly ok to touch that nasty little piece of plastic without spraying it down to sanitize it. 👎🏻

I normally never leave reviews, but I absolutely have to after my daughters visit today. I get HORRIBLE anxiety when it comes to my daughters eye appointments just because I have had some really bad experiences trying to get the right thing for her in the past. It’s a long drawn out story that I won’t bore you with, but it really is a big deal. However, the doctor was absolutely amazing!! Without me having to ask, he answered all of my questions. Even ones I gave up on asking because of the past experiences. Cathy has the patience of a saint. It took one comment about the tint to unfortunately trigger my anxiety, and I acted defensive for no reason at all. (Again, I am so sorry) She was so patient with me and calmed all of my worries. She even went as far as to help me understand what verbiage to use in the future if I ever had to go anywhere else. I felt absolutely horrible that I let myself get so worked up, but this location was absolutely by far the best experience I’ve encountered. I highly recommend.

They never answer the phone when trying to make an appointment. Then when you get to speak with someone they are very unpleasant to deal with. Poor Customer service. ☹️

They are the best!! I was there yesterday for an eye exam but couldn’t do it because of dizziness and I started throwing up. They were so considerate and caring. Kept checking on my in the restroom bringing me water and making sure I was ok. The doctor seems to think that’s something going on and made a referral. No one else has thought of finding the underlying cause they all want to mask the problem with meds. Thank you so much! Y’all are a great team....

I love Doctor Dean Strickland. He answers all my questions. He is a caring doctor. He always appreciates his patients. His staff is very friendly and helpful. I’ve been going to him for at least 40 years.

This was my first visit at this location and the staff did not disappoint. Dr. Strickland was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Cathy was so friendly and helpful. She helped me pick out my glasses. I told her I felt like I was shopping with my bestie lol She was just that down-to-earth. Will definitely come here again!

My eperience has been anything but pleasant. I ordered glasses and was told that they would take two weeks. After two weeks came and went I called to be told that they would be three weeks. As three weeks approached I called only to be told they had no idea when the glasses would arrive. Today after making another call I was told my glasses were in. When I arrived to pick them up, I find that they are the wrong frames. I’m now told I will have the correct glasses in 1 1/2 weeks. We shall see....

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST. Was going thru the area on a golf vacation and had forgotten my contacts. called them to find out if they could help and not only did they get me a couple pair of contacts but they stayed a little after hours till I got their to pick them up. Just really wanted to say thank you and anyone that lives in this area should go see these people for their eye troubles. THANKS again for saving a forgetful man on vacation

Let me start by saying that the staff was friendly and helpful. So I went in because I had foreign matter in my eye that I was unable to flush out. They were able to work me in quickly and I greatly appreciated that. Long story short, the Dr was able to remove the speck of metal shaving (hazard of work even with safety glasses on) from my eye in literally 3sec after A DROP of numbing solution was used followed up with 2 DROPS of antibiotics. Now I declared upfront with the nice ladies at the front desk that I do not have insurance and would be paying cash so I asked how much I might be looking at (pun intended) paying. I was told it would be a minimum of $75 but more likely to be in the $135 range unless some sort of procedure was required. NO PROCEDURE WAS REQUIRED and they charged me $225 for what amounted to about 10 min of actually sitting in the exam chair. They will NOT be getting any repeat business from me and I will NEVER recommend them to ANYONE. I didnt even get a kiss first.
