It’s a lovely salon, I had Meghan as my stylist she is incredibly kind and wonderful to work with. I love the blue black hair she gave me and my hair looks very healthy. I would recommend asking for her when making appointments.The salon was nice and they had a large variety of products.Next door is a coffee shop and a wine/ restaurant, so you can grab coffee before your time there.

I booked an appointment for my daughters sweet 16 2 months in advance. When I called 2 days before the set appointment I was told there was a problem with the appointmentand it would have to be rescheduled . I wonder who was so special to bump my daughter from her $300 appointment.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The place is very nice and have good COVID practices but I’m not impressed with the hair coloring I had done. It didn’t look good to me and it really wasn’t what I wanted. I wanted a cool tone ombré and I got a neutral foil balayage. Maybe I did not convey what I wanted to the stylists clearly but definitely not worth the $200 (plus $40 tip) I spent on it. I will not be returning.

Friendly staff. They are great with COVID protocol. Emily is wonderful at cutting thick, difficult hair. Ive seen 3 different people and theyve all done a great job. Im thrilled that I found Srrands!

Second time I send my son, first time was bad enought, but we thought we could give another chance. Last time 35 dollars for the pleasure, this time 50 dollars and he has longer strands of hair, his hair spikes up at the sides. Never again

I was impressed with the professionalism of this salon. It was chic without being over the top. Kevin was very knowledgeable and took the extra time to make sure that I was leaving with something that had potential. I appreciated that they get information about your habits and what would actually be reasonable for you instead of giving you a style that looks great in the salon but would be difficult to maintain on your own. I selected value in my review-- I felt confident that the price was fair for the skills, products, and amenities provided.

Amazing!! My mom has been going to Kevin for as long as I can remember who is amazing! I get my hair done by Emily who is awesome. She always makes my hair look so so good! The salon itself is so nice!!

I got the Keratin treatment from Emily, which Iv had several times with various experiences, and the results are amazing! She really knew what she was doing and executed it perfectly. Not to mention the vibe of the whole salon is really fun and friendly. I found my new spot!

Strands is the very best there is. They are experts in traditional, professional, event, and even edgy hair. They can do it all. The stylist will take the time to talk to you to find out what you are going for, and pride themselves on accomplishing that. Ninfa & Kevin are the owners. And they also value continued education and learning for all their stylists. Ive been going here for a very long time, and travel from the county to keep going to Strands

BEST hair salon Ive ever been to. I immediately felt welcome here and my hair stylist, Hannah, was so knowledgeable about the hair products and treatments. I was nervous about getting the Keratin treatment but she went over it with me in detail and did an absolutely amazing job on my hair. So far, I couldnt be more happy with the treatment and the service given to me at Strands. My hair has never looked better! I will definitely be making this my new go to hair place!

Lucy saved me from a horrible haircut! She fit me in her busy schedule to get it done because I have an event coming up. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful, and they really know what theyre doing. Not only that, but its tough to find a stylist who can really work well with curly hair, and Lucy definitely can! The price is high but I would also say that its typical for the quality and the area.

I love this place! Lucy is amazing with color. I went from yellow hair (literally) to a beautiful blonde. Great experience and seriously-Lucy is amazing!! Highly recommend!

I have been going to Strands since 2009. The salon is very professional and welcoming in a creative, warm atmosphere. The training I get about a way to wear my hair or a product to use after each service is customer service that I have never received anywhere else. I see Maria and she is my hair lady! I have had the other team members do my hair if she is absent and I need to get in and they are great as well. The entire team and staff will take care of you, treat you well and most importantly have your hair looking amazing. Just leave it to Strands!

I have really mixed feelings. Everyone is really nice here but I walked away feeling super jipped for 60 dollars. I am growing out a pixie cut which is always rough. I usually go to great clips but I wanted to get a really nice cut. I asked to have to tail cut off and have it be clean. I felt like she barely cut anything off and the back was still touching my neck which was driving me crazy. While I was still there I made an appointment for 4 weeks to get the tail cut off again and she said it would be a bang cut price. Idk what that costs at strands. I called as soon as I got home to make a new appointment to fix what had just happened or not happened. Shes said we could fix it and I could come in the next week. I called again later to move the appointment and it turned out I wasnt actually scheduled and there was nothing to move. So I just waited until my actual scheduled appointment because we were out of town. Second time in I got the hair cut I wanted the first time and it was going to be 60 dollars AGAIN even though we never fixed the first haircut and I was told it would be a bang cut price. They changed it to a childs cut which was 30 only because I said that they had said bang cut price last time. So my haircut turned out to be 90 plus 20% tip, I always tip well. I feel like I fell for a swindle, though. I have another appointment set up but I will cancel.

Great place for a relaxing & awesome haircut

I just returned from my first and last visit to Strands. The whole visit -- haircut, lip and brow wax, and Moroccan oil product -- cost me $98 before tip. Im not sure how much any of it cost, because I didnt get an itemized receipt. Still, I dont think I got any discount when my stylist decided that she didnt need to wash my hair -- something that is advertised as included in every haircut (all haircuts come with an aromatherapy scalp massage, a shampoo, conditioning, and blow dry style.) I got none of those things, except a tiny bit of blow drying. All the while, my stylist kept trying to up-sell me, telling me my hair was in terrible shape, and that my split ends needed a $150 or $300 keratin treatment. In any event, I wont be returning seeing that I didnt get what I paid for. The two stars rating does not reflect quality, but rather their not providing services that were paid for.

Long story short everyone there cuts hair like a ten year old child that got a hold of moms sheers. Now here is the long story. I called and asked for the most experienced stylist they had because I wanted a good hair cut. I came in for my appointment and they set me up with Christian, this man must have been fresh out of school because it seemed like he didnt even know how to hold a pair of sheers. I came in with picture and showed him exactly what I want. Well let just put it this way he chopped me up so bad that I had missing hair everywhere and to cover up his horrid mistakes, or at least try to cover them up, he dumped a bunch of moose all over my head. At that point Christian asked the manager for help because he didnt know how to rescue his mistakes. Well the older manager started to cut my hair and made it even worse. Stay away from this place if you want to look normal. These people are all amateurs. From now on I guess Ill go to Great Clips at least there I wont have to overpay for a disaster.
