PA David and Amanda are both wonderful. I’ve learned a lot about skincare with them. David gave me the best skincare routine to help me achieve the results i wanted. Karina is really knowledgeable about the procedures she does. You really ca tell that she loves her job and takes it seriously. Very good experience overall.

I was a patient many years ago I believe back in 2016 or 2017. This is a very professional place. The girl at the front desk who checked me in was awesome at her job as well super polite and proficient with updating my information. I saw Dr. Patel and she was absolutely warm and AMAZING. She addressed all my concerns I highly recommend scheduling an appointment if you’re looking for a dermatologist.

Came in to see Inga Bufano, PA (3x) for Botox treatment and once again made me wait over one hr past my orig appointment time resulting in me walking out. This practice is very disrespectful of patient’s time; however, the patient IS expected to be respectful of their time. Needless to say I’m never going back! Found an awesome doctor at a more favorable per unit price. The new doctor gave me the Botox box so that I could confirm product authenticity…things happen for a reason and I am very happy. This practice is poorly managed!!!

I came in to see Inga Bufano in the Clark and South Plainfield offices for Botox service (3x) and each and every time I was seen over an hour past my appointment time. The staff constantly LIES claiming an unforeseen treatment as the reason for the delay and that I am next--then when I ask another office assistant, shell state Inga has one or two patients ahead of me. Metropolitan Dermatology is very UNPROFESSIONAL when it comes to honoring their appointments. It is obvious they overbook patients for no other reason than financial gain. On my last appointment, I walked out after waiting in a room for OVER an hour. Inga, you are not the only qualified Botox provider in NJ and you should be more respectful of your patients time just how you expect patients to be respectful of your time!!!

I love Metropolitan Dermatology. They offer such a wide array of services. I go there. My kids go there. I also recommend it to my friends in the area. Great staff. Jalpa is very kind, caring and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Karina at Metropolitan Dermatology is a great aesthetician. I have been going to her for years! Not only is she personable and kind, she is truly wonderful at her job. The first time I met with her she educated me on my skin and recommended a regimen with products based on my concerns and what she saw. Years later, she continues to provide insight and knowledge regarding my skin. She answers all of my questions and alters my regimen when necessary. She is extremely thorough and her care for her work and patients is evident. Karina does everything she can to give her patients the best skin possible. Simply put, Karina is amazing!

Karina is great, and I wait 3 months to see her bc shes always booked. However, the wait time prior to each appointment is ridiculous. They are somehow ALWAYS running late and I have had to wait 1.5 - 2 hours to be seen WITH an appointment. The office doesnt even call you to let you know they are running late prior to the appointment and they just make you sit and wait for 2 hours. Who has the time to do that?!

I saw Dr. David. He takes his time with you and explains every option, treatment, etc. The office staff are pleasant. I definitely recommend this office for all your skincare needs, or worries. Also, my 14 year old son has been treated by Dr David, and my son was at ease, not nervous with him and told me after that he really liked the doctor!

I mainly see Karina (aesthetician) at this facility. I have been getting treatment with Karina for almost 2 years now. From my initial appointment til now she has always educated me on proper skin care and has kept me up to date on the best skin regimens according to my skin type/texture. She is always open to questions and helping me to the best of her knowledge/ability on all my skin care concerns. My skin has made a drastic change in these last 2 years, I started with hormonal and cystic acne also very clogged pores. I barley breakout now in my old problem areas and some areas no break outs at all! I have recommended all my family and friends to see Karina. She is amazing!

Bad management! I had an appointment, I reached there before time. I was told to wait. After waiting for a longer period of time when I asked... how long, the answer was The room is being used for some other purpose, you need to wait. They should inform their patients well in adv for such scenarios or call patients to cancel the appointment. There was a day I reached 5 minutes late because of traffic. They simply told You are late, we cant help.The quality of treatment is average.

After researching several clinics I came to Metro for a couple Coolsculpting procedures. Their pricing is fair and the experience was exceptional. Lis is personable and professional, answering all of my questions and ensuring I was comfortable throughout each procedure. I did not find either area to be painful or uncomfortable and if you’re entertained the time goes by quickly. They’re equipped with Netflix but I screwed around on my phone the whole time, it was over before I knew it. The areas did remain tender for about 3 weeks following the procedures, as expected, but I had no redness or swelling (the immediate redness was gone by the time I got home - 20 minute drive). I’m on my fourth week for the 1st section and am beginning to see the results. So excited!! I already have my appointments booked for my second session on two areas and adding a third. Coolsculpting, for me, is kind of like tattoos where once you start you become kind of addicted. I could do this everyday, though not recommended lol. Thank you so much, Lis and the whole team at Metro!!! I can’t wait to come back for more!!! ❤️❤️❤️

The office is cool with people who take care of you. The best part about this place is Karina Matias, the aesthetician! I got microdermabrasion with her many times, and each time my skin is thoroughly cleaned and looks and feels brand new. On top of that, I learned so much about my skin through her, a woman of color who understands everyone’s skin types. She gave me samples to try of products she thought would work for me and they were a game changer in my skincare routine. Karina, you rock! Thank you guys at Metropolitan Dermatology.

I had been seeing a dermatologist who could Not diagnose my condition after one year. I switched to Dr. Doctoroff and on my first visit he diagnosed me with psoriasis andprescribed me medication. I was quickly on my way to recovery and super grateful. The staff is very friendly and the environment is clean. Would definitely recommend this place

Not a great experience here in the office. No patience to even answer my one quick question (not even interested in what I was going to ask). Front desk appeared very judgmental to me.

The wait is always ridiculous. Once I came in during mid day before my appointment and will still need to wait for over an hour while I was taking off time from work. On top of that, the doctor here is incompetent. They gave my son random antibiotics and kept throwing medications at us for his acne and did not even talk about root causes. Moreover, medicine prescribed was given without directions for use. My sons acne became significantly worse after following the advice and regimen given, and the doctor then tried to put him on accutane even though his acne was mild. Would definitely not recommend seeing the dermatologists here. The aestheticians are more competent and worth a visit.

The office was clean -the ladies at the reception area were professional and handle things timely. my visit was also professional as the physician gave me a time to ask questions and provide me with education on what was going on .I would recommend metropolitan dermatology

I have been going to Metropolitan Dermatology for years. My esthetician, Karina is the best! I suffered from adult acne and she brought my skin back to life. She truly cares about your skin and helping achieve the best results. My advice is to listen to her and trust the process, you will not regret it. I’ve been coming to Metropolitan Dermatology in Clark for a year now and my overall experience has been outstanding. PA David is amazing and very comfortable to interact with. And because of him, I have been able to keep my acne under control. For anyone looking a good Dermatologist, this is the place to go.

So i reached 15 minutes late for an appointment because i had a cyst that started bleeding before i left home for the appointment for the same reason. I had to get that in control. Anyway, the receptionist told me that they might not be able to accomodate me because i got late, which is understandable in normal circumstances but i was bleeding and in a lot of pain and needed to be seen asap BUT the doctor and receptionist made NO EXCEPTION. And i wasnt even a new patient. This shows huge lack of courtesy and care of the staff here. I was told to wait an hour and then the doctor MIGHT see me (a patient who is already bleeding with an open wound). Would definitely not recommend this place.

My visit to Metropolitan Dermatology office in Elizabeth and Clark have been great. Both locations the staff are welcoming very pleasant and helpful. I am visually impaired walk with a white cane and they were very happy to assist me and guided me into the examination room. I had a procedure done to remove a bump in my forehead. Except for the local anesthesia needle which did hurt LOL the rest of the procedure was great took less than 10 minutes. I strongly recommend Metropolitan Dermatology.

I went to the Clark office today and I am so happy that Ive been going to Amanda! She has taken such good care of me and she always listens when I have questions. She is fantastic!!!

Such a wonderful all around experience my son had today at this office! He had a benign growth removed very quickly and easily. The doctor took her time with him and answered all of my questions in detail. Her assistant was very sweet and kind throughout the process. I would give this place a 0 stars if possible.I scheduled an appointment to get moles removed. Over the phone they said that they could do it the same day and told me it would be the copay amount.I scheduled it for 2:30 and I waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes, then the actual room for 15 minutes when a nurse or assistant asked questions, then it was another 30 minutes.The doctor came in for 5 minutes and looked me up and down and told me none of the moles were cancerous. I explained I was looked to get rid of the moles and he told me that it would be charged against the deductible and wouldnt give me a price and rushed me out.Two weeks later I get a bill from my insurance company for $78. This was an utter waste of time and doesnt give accurate billing info.

I can not even begin to express how impressed I am with David Farag, PA-C! Not only is he extremely proficient in his field, he is professional, kind, patient, funny and thoughtful. He goes above and beyond to try and make sure his patients feel comfortable while answering all questions and making suggestions when requested! A truly outstanding experience! The rest of the team I spoke with from the front desk to his assistants were very professional, friendly and helpful as well! Been seeing Dr. Farag, for a few years. A lot of sun related maintenance, my adult acne, and preventative things. Minor cosmetic stuff. Not always fun but necessary. Staff is always polite, helpful and professional. My doctor is very knowledgeable, flexible and understanding. He never pressures me and I feel he understands my point of view when approaching how to take care of my longer term skin issues. Always gives good input and advice on medication and procedural options. Convenient location off GSP, usually can get an appt within 2 weeks. Hes also seen my daughter for acne issues and she has had success with that. Highly recommend.

The staff that the doctors have there are the worst, after calling every day, two weeks later I was able to get my daughters prescription sent to the pharmacy. And the way I got it was me picking up the prescription and sending the fax to the pharmacy

Went to this doctor because of a bump on my face he cut it off and completed a biopsy. Never received a call of the results, the growth grew back, made another appointment and the Doctor says the biopsy was fine and used liquid nitrogen. Growth came back again and decided to see another Dermatologist. Thank god i did because it was squamous cell carcinoma ( skin cancer). How does a biopsy not detect that? Seems like negligence to me. Tried calling the office to speak with a Office Manager or the a doctor after telling my story. Never received a call back. O yea by the way I was treated outside from my car because of COVID!

I suffered from acne for the majority of my teen years through my early 20s. Ever since seeing Karina at Metropolitan Dermatology Ive been able to find the perfect routine for my face, stick to that routine and also feel much more confident that this will finally work.Karina is professional in her work, a perfectionist when it comes to acne surgery but also when it comes to making the patient feel comfortable. Shes also very personable and honest when it comes to answering your questions.Im not done with my treatments yet but Karina helped me get over my fear of going to a dermatologist after trying almost everything. Very excited to see whats next and honestly cant wait for my next appointment.

This was my 1st visit at Metropolitan Dermatology and I was extremely satisfied. The staff was exceptional and the office is extremely clean. The protocols in place due to Covid-19 made me feel very comfortable. I will be sure to schedule my next annual screening with Jalpa.

Great service from Karina for microdermabrasion and extractions. She is always thorough and friendly. The front desk is kind too. However, I always have to wait at least 20 minutes for my scheduled appointment time. They are always running behind schedule which is frustrating and why I am only giving 4 stars.

Excellent, organized and friendly office staff! Today was my second time seeing Dr. Doctoroff and he and his nurse practitioner both remember exactly why I was there and what I was following up on. They make you feel at ease and welcome. They also have a great plan in place for seeing patients during COVID, would highly recommend to anyone.

At first I was a little Leary about going. I usually dont like going to a dermatologist but this was a different experience. Dr farag let me explain my situation he listened thoroughly and totally explained everything he was thinking and everything he was going to do to get to the bottom of the problem. he even made a phone call to my surgeon about this problem that stopped my surgery that I was supposed to have . I feel confident that he will get to the bottom of the problem so that I can take care of my other issues and Im grateful that I was able to go there today and meet him and become a patient of his. Also the rest of the staff was very nice and very polite and I would recommend anyone to go there. Only negative phone system is terrible kept getting forwarded to wrong extension was frustrating hopefully it was just a glitch.

I had both virtual and in-person appointments with Amanda Mazzetta, PA. She was kind, listened to my concerns and was knowledgeable and had experience in the procedure I required.I had delayed doing this on the skin around my eyes, for so long, due to anxiety. My experience was an extremely pleasant one. Amanda and her assistant Maricel were so comforting, making my appointment so wonderful. I am so glad I finally completed this long overdue appointment.

Karina Matias is absolutely amazing. I have been going to her for microneedling treatments in the past year and she has been amazing from the start. She is so invested in each of her patients and truly gets to know them. She genuinely wants to help you achieve your skincare goals and shes very knowledgable and makes great recommendations based on each patients individual profile. Aside from that, she also makes it a point to check in on her patients. Everytime Ive visited her, Ive always had a great conversation with her. I wouldnt want to go anywhere else. After having a biopsy and receiving a terrible letter advising to schedule an appointment to discuss my results and treatment options only to find out I had something minor, they sent a script to this medley pharmacy they use, I was never contacted by Medley my wife spent a long time on hold and a day later spoke to someone who said they had no script. We called Metropolitan back and asked for it to be sent to Walgreens only to find out from Walgreens Medley he billed for it, never sent it or contacted us and my wife had to spend more time fighting with Medley to get it reversed so Walgreens could order it. It’s almost a week later and I still have no medicine. My wife requested to speak to the office manager only to be told she was “in a meeting” typical excuse and has yet to be called back. Stay away from here they are not caring about you!

Offices and rooms were very clean, minimal amount of people present. Everyone wore a mask, I felt extremely safe being there. Amanda resolved my issue quickly and efficiently

I never write reviews but I felt I had to in this case. The staff was so nice and the entire process was so easy. I was pretty nervous about a bump on my face but I immediately felt comfortable when talking to the doctor. They removed the bump right away and it was quick and pretty painless. I have already recommended them to several people!

I went to Metropolitan Dermatology for my annual skin check. I was seen by Amanda Mazzetta, Physician Assistant. I wore a gown and she gave me a very thorough exam. She examined me from my scalp to my feet and explained about my skin discolorations and benign skin lesions. She also educated me on how to protect my skin. I was very satisfied with the care I received.

I used to love this place, but lately front desk is severely slacking on the scheduling! After scheduling my appointment, somehow it gets “automatically” cancelled”, and I don’t find out until the day of. I reschedule, yet they schedule me for a totally different procedure..Again, waste of time! Now I’m stuck waiting another 1/2 month practically because they’re booked, and front staff is not doing their job! Totally Unfair!!! Karina is amazing, however! Totally recommend this wonderful young lady! Front desk needs to step up their game!

Never visit their office. staff is very rude. They will charge without our consent. For me they have charged for the service I never asked and said to me that they are charging because they have to read my report and after that not to inform me what was the outcome. Pathetic office and doctor.

Great office very professional and Dr Walton is fantastic! She removed skin tags for me and she also did a full body check up. Felt very little pain as she removed the skin tags. She well also spend a good amount of time with you and answer all of your questions. I didn’t feel rushed at all.

My experience at Metropolitan Dermatology was amazing...times 2! I went to the Clark location for coolsculpting twice. The tech, Brittany was knowledgeable, patient and funny. The procedure was painless and IT WORKS! It was much less expensive than the overpriced NYC establishments. The coolsculpting is done downstairs, but I had to go upstairs for paperwork. The receptionist was kind and knowledgeable and there were patients in the waiting area. The office was busy, which obviously is a good sign. I would recommend this location or any of their 10 locations, based on my experience at the Clark location.

This was my 1st visit and my last. I never write reviews but I am very disappointed. Won’t be recommending anyone here. Received no help/ encouragement from the doctor, solely an “it is what it is” answer. I would’ve appreciated a little more attention to my concerns ( as in what I was taking, possible causes etc). If they were in a rush (given COVID situation) , I would have preferred being told that they were only seeing emergencies or established patients. Only good thing was staff was nice. All in all I have already scheduled with a different dermatologist elsewhere.

Dr. Farag was great and made me very comfortable to explain my concerns and was very down to earth more of a friend then a doctor. Staff is great too everyone is very understanding.
