I came to this store for a specific item that I didnt feel like going to the mall for. When arrived I looked around for a while for my item but couldnt find it. I asked someone at the salon, located inside, where I would find it. She showed me the brand but I still couldnt find what I was looking for. I decided to wait on line to ask. When I approached, I asked about the product and she had to seach for it in the system. She told me they will have to order it and have it shipped to me. She told me it could take 10 days which was so long but I wanted the item. I paid and gave all my information. Praying the item reaches me in due time.

This is regarding the salon services. I highly recommend Jeanne. She is great! Cut my hair and my daughter and I just love her. She’s not scissor happy and took off exactly what I wanted. Very sweet and gentle. She doesn’t yank and rip your hair out like all the salons I’ve been to (and I’ve been to a lot). I was so pleased when she dried my hair. She had the dryer on a warm setting. I’ve never experienced that before anywhere. Very gentle while washing my hair. Definitely going back to see her.

Very bummed with my trip there today. I planned out my shopping around 2 coupons I had from Ulta. I made a $120 purchase but then couldnt use the 3.50 coupon on anything, even the Neutrogena product!I will return it and get it for a better price at a competitor!So I tried my next coupon which was sent for my birthday, but couldnt redeem it either because they had run out of the birthday gift! Ugh...just felt like a waste of a trip.

This store is wonderful I get all of my beauty needs and everybody is so nice and helpful if I can’t find some thing the girls are always ready to assist very good shopping experience

I got my haircut there today and my stylist was great. This review is for all the 20 year old employees/“managers” that let the phone ring all day. I had called before my appointment and my call bounced back at least 3 times before someone answered. At first you might think it’s because they’re too busy, but after going in and sitting through all the calls, I saw first hand how they were ignored.

I usually shop at Ulta but this particular one rubbed me off the wrong way. The team wasnt helpful and they seemed to wanna get everyone outta the store hurriedly because they were about to close. After scanning and cancelling merchandise I asked the cashier to cancel everything and rescan to avoid errors and I got a stink eye and side comments from another employee. Naaaa I will pass on going back to this particular location in Clark NJ👎. Not worth the aggravation.

Very clean and organized, had the Urban Rx items I wanted. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

I’ve gotten my hair blown out by a couple of different people at the Clark location and they always do a great job and are reasonably priced. I highly recommend Jessica. She is super sweet and did an excellent job with my hair.

My mental heath spot!!! This store is amazing and my favorite Ulta location. You walk in and you fill with joy and all your bad feeling go away. And it’s cheaper than an out of pocket therapist. But joking aside the store is always clean and the staff is SO amazing. The always answer if you call and know so much about all the products

Walked around for a bit, stayed by clinique area, was interested in a foundation color match to start off and more as I just threw out everything I had to start fresh again. Well employees walked around and past me but nobody asked if I needed help so I left. Went to ***** in the mall went to clinique area and whole different experience. They got my business, polite but not pushy lol I had to stop them from going to the register to say there was other items I needed as well. Nobody likes pushy sales people but I shouldnt have to look for them either.

I love this store for its large selection of products and friendly service. I am the owner of a beauty salon and it is important for me that the goods and products are of high quality, and it is here that everything I need is available.

I have to say... A sales associate named Gary at this location was so excellent! I came in with no idea what products I should purchase. Gary found me, we had a talk and he listened to my needs and was very considerate with my options and gave me absolutely great advice and recommendations. I’ve been going to this ultra for years but never had anyone help me but he did and was not trying to upsale me which I am very content with and I am with his help! Great energy!

I give Salon 5 stars. The store itself is pretty good. Employees are always very nice. In the past have waited a few times in very long lines. However, they seem to be working on a better set up now at checkout.

Every week my girlfriend and I find ourselves having to come to this store for something that she might need, however every time we come in we are never greeted or offered any help when we clearly look lost. She always ends up just leaving without the product or settling for something else that she otherwise could have been satisfied with, had she received the help she needed. Multiple employees walked right past us as we were looking through multiple aisles to find something. There is a huge lack of quality customer service at this location.

I dont stop here much but I was pleasantly surprised at the gift ideas and specials they had. Right by the front door they had an assortment of small beauty accessories for $1. I will definitely be going back

Super nice staff called about a Dyson super sonic blow dryer and they had multiple ones in stock the guy who picked up the phone was so nice enough to put one on hold for me till I came from New York to pick it up! :) def will be returning to this location!

This ulta is big enough to find what you want to.

Jessica was so nice and extremely professional. She was quick and made sure that i got exactly what i asked for. Will definitely come back again and make sure Jessica cuts my hair.

Super clean and cautious. There were two ladies cleaning the store constantly while I browsed. The employee who helped me with some mental health boosting pink hair color was fantastic! If we cant show off our lipstick right now, at least we can still add color to our hair. Thanks Clark Ulta!

This store is way too small. I also didnt love the pick up service that I got at this location. I only went here because they were the only Ulta in the area with the Dyson hair system. I chucked out almost $500 and it seemed like I was more of an annoyance to the girl handing me my product. She just threw it in my hand (its pretty heavy).

DON’T GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE!!! The day I went everyone was super friendly and kind, the only problem was I had my eyebrows done at the benefit brow bar inside, and the women made me look a combination of Mr. Potato Head and Rock Lee (from Naruto) I was very upset and embarrassed of how it looked. My boyfriend the nicest guy in the world was like “is this a joke?” To see if I was messing with him, even though I definitely wasn’t.

I was extremely happy. They refunded me for makeup that I bought. When I got home the shade was all wrong. The young lady who is often there, refunded me happily and hassle free.

I dont wear lipstick because I hate the sticky feel, so I went in and asked Alissa to guide me to a lipstick I might be able to handle. She gave me three suggestions and I made my pick. I dont like the color I chose but Im thrilled I found a lipstick that doesnt make me want to wipe it off immediately! I actually forgot it was on for a while.

The store has a ton of brands and you can find most anything here. However, I wish their checkout desk customer service was nicer. With the exception of one or two girls, most are not very personable and are rather short in their responses. Also, while some are of the product service girls are knowledgable, many are not and just seem to push more of the Ulta-only products. If the service was better, Id shop at this location more frequently.

My go to Ulta. Far better than its counterpart in Warren. Always clean, employees are nice and easy to spot, and they keep a good stock especially the sale items. I’ve been to the salon once for a blow out and was really happy with it.

I was there yesterday! Consultant girl was so helpful! Found me a gift I was looking for, matched lip liner perfectly and suggested the foundation! It all worked out ideally!

Not please with the employees or overall service of this store. Went in a couple of days ago and no one even bothered to greet any of the customers that walked in. I was looking for a certain hair item and no one offered to help. I decided to search for the item myself and once I found it I sprayed a section of my hair to make sure it was to my liking. One of the employees rushed to where I was and told me I couldn’t try the product on which made me feel very uncomfortable. I proceeded to show her that the item had a TRY ME sticker on it and she seemed confused and walked away without any apology. It seems as if the employees don’t even know what kind of products or rules the stores has. Very disappointed and will probably not be back to this store or recommend it to anyone.

I love this store but the workers talk to each other and seem to ignore customers. Ill still go there though. I always know what I want when I walk in there anyway.

Disappointed that the item I was looking for was unavailable, enough though it showed in stock on the website and in their store system. Item was not found. I made a special trip out of my way and left empty handed. Sales staff were nice and helpful but unable to provide item.

I got my makeup done and the staff wasnt very pleasant or inviting. I waited some time before actually being taken care of. I wasnt asked what i wanted or any preference on products i would necessarily like to use. I wasnt satisfied with the final result. It was caked on and upon leaving my lashes were already coming off. Not the most professional job Ive gotten before, especially for the price asked. I will not return and I would not recommend, especially for a makeup appointment.

Every time I go I always get the best service and help. Everyone is ALWAYS extremely friendly. I just recently went to the salon for the first time and Sade helped me. I absolutely LOVEE how she did my hair. She did such a great job at such an affordable price.

I have never been greeted when entering this Ulta store before, which personally doesn’t bother me. However today I saw the difference it can make, when it does happen! Ariel, (hope I’m spelling her name correctly) greeted me with a smile and asked if I needed any help the second I entered. It gave me the confidence and comfort right away to ask her to help me find a new foundation, which is something I had come into the store to do a week prior (and unfortunately couldn’t find the help I needed). Over the years, my journey with finding the right shade of foundation for my skin tone has been difficult. Ariel asked me questions about what I used, what I’m looking for, and then proceeded to help me find the right shade (AND SHE DID!) for over 15 mins- walking back and forth throughout the store to change shades, while answering all my questions. I am never one to write reviews, but I genuinely wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation to her cause she truly made my experience soooo easy and more enjoyable. Look out for Ariel whenever you’re in that Ulta store !!!

The store looks nice but the staff is rude and unprofessional. Upon arriving, I wasn’t exactly greeted by two employees airing out dirty laundry about another employee pretty loudly to each other. I was there to help my little sister find something. We decided to take a look for ourselves instead of interrupting their conversation. After about 20 minutes of walking around, we finally decided to ask. The woman I asked was very rude to me saying the product I was looking for was only available for professionals. Now I’ve attended beauty school and have licenses and certifications but I guess maybe she didn’t think I was a professional since I wasn’t sure what my sister was looking for exactly, I look young and I walked in with a fresh face rather than a beat one. Her tone was very off putting and made me feel like I wasn’t even worthy to shop there. The whole experience makes me never want to shop there again.

The place was full of clients; but the staff was able to help, one specific Tinica was friendly and answered all questions also gave me a foundation sample on my face, I am glad she helped since I do not know anything about makeup and I do not like to wear heavy colors.

This was my first time going to the Beauty Salon. The Manager of the Salon Courtney took care of me. I trusted that she knew what she was doing being shes a Certified Hair Stylist and the Manager. To my SURPRISE, SHE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THE HECK SHES DOING!!!!! IM SO UPSET,at the outcome of my hair color. I had to tell her 3 times look at my hair, you not living my hair like that!!! On top of that, she cant BLOW DRY HAIR EITHER!!! I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IN CLARK, NJ to anyone!!!!So upset how she mess up my hair ,and EXTREMELY UPSET that I paid $97.....I SHOULD GET MY MONEY BACK!!AND THEY NEED TO HIRE REAL PROFESSIONALS!!!!

DO NOT GET YOUR MAKEUP DONE HERE!! They kept asking me to wait even after I reminded them multiple times that I had an appointment at 2:00. They started my makeup at 4:30 and made me wait for 2.5 hours even though I kept telling them that I had been waiting for a very long time. My makeup was extremely rushed and I ended up having to miss much of my high school’s prom. Lindsey was supposed to do my makeup and she took an unnecessarily long time with the client before me when she knew I had been waiting for hours. She just strolled around talking to other employees and wasted my time.

Nice and clean place to go shopping

This used to be my favorite ulta location. As of lately, I see that theyve hired a lot of new sales associates. THEY HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICES SKILLS. Not pleasant to speak to at all, or helpful whatsoever. Ive came here multiple times thinking maybe I just caught the employees on a bad day but no theyre just awful. They need to start training their employees properly. Terrible experience. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

This Ulta consistently TERRIBLE. Ive shopped at this store multiple times only out of convinence of location. The worst customer service. Every time Ive gone here Ive had to do several laps around the store just to find an associate. And other times when staff was visible they do not acknowledge you or offer any assistance. This store also has the worst inventory. Almost every time Ive gone here theyre always out of the product(s) Im looking for and I end up having to go to another store. Yeah, this store is awful and I would now rather drive farther than waste my time here.

It is a great place for a variety of beauty brands they used to carry neutrogena makeup and now they do not. I wish they still did.

I live in Colonia and always come here for my beauty related shopping and hair dressing. Nice and well stocked store where youll find everything you need. They have an especially good Essie nailpolish selection, where I can always find my favorite shades without having to buy them on Amazon. They also stock Dermablend which a lot of other Ultas dont. The hair salon is also excellent. You cant beat the price for the quality of service. I highly recommend Jessica for any blonde related highliting, coloring, etc. Always very friendly and curteous. I noticed a lot of reviewers complain about lack of greeting or not being able to find an associate. I personally prefer to be left alone and browse on my own, so its actually a plus. If youre shopping for drugstore brands like Neutrogena or Cerave, Target across the street is your better bet.

I love Ulta however I find this location to have employees are are always less than helpful. When I ask questions, they often seem so bothered.

DONT BOOK A FORMAL HAIR APPOINTMENTGo to FROM HEAD TO TOE instead!!!!!!!!!As a bride who doesnt know the area, I had to quickly find a replacement after my hairdresser coming to the hotel cancelled 3 weeks before the wedding. I booked Ulta thinking it would be safe as Id heard good things about the one where I live. Myself and the maid of honor had 11:45am appointments booked. At 9am they called my MoH and stayed the hair dresser for her was out sick. Not happy, but ok. What I wasnt ok with was the lack of accommodation for someone else doing her hair. No one would be able to do it until 4. At 11:05, they called me. The woman I was booked with apparently doesnt do formal hair. I am disgusted that such a big company would allow appointments to be booked with hairdressers who cant complete the task.Needless to say, From Head to Toe came to the rescue! They did an amazing job and the women are just amazing people!

Love Ulta, I don’t usually go to the Clark location but I was in the area and wanted to replace a lipgloss my daughter lost. Was asked if I needed help by a nice woman, I explained my situation and everything was fine. I walk off to look, don’t see what I’m looking for so I stop to side to call my daughter. As I’m calling a girl asks if I’m ok, I’m not paying attention really since I’m on the phone but I hear her I look up as she makes a rude comment to a co worker. I look up, say excuse me and she Rudely asks if I need help. I say no and she says to co worker in a snarky tone well she looks lost and laughs. I just left, and will not return there. I’m not sure who she thought she was, like you have a sales job at ulta. You are not better than anybody else. I will continue to shop at my regular ulta where the woman are kind and helpful not rude
