Dr. Barnes has been my Childrens Physician for over 20 years. My first son saw him until adulthood and now my 2 younger children see him. He has always been caring, thorough and very good at diagnosing and treating every need. He has done everything from earliest newborn care, to ER visits to sew up cuts, and regular check ups, viruses and more. I appreciate that he doesnt just throw RX at you to see if it will work. He checks to see if antibiotics are needed before prescribing. He always answers my questions and explains what is needed. I appreciate Dr. Barnes very much and hope he doesnt retire before my youngest kids are grown! Were sticking with him as long as hes there!

The front desk lady has the worse personality of anyone I’ve ever met. I’ve brought my son here since he was born cause I heard nothing but great things about Dr. Barnes but due to the attitude the girl at the front desk has for no reason we won’t be back. She’s awful!

We recently moved to the area, and have 2 children aged 4 and 7 months. I called and made an appointment for 2 well visits and to get shots. The front office staff was rude and didnt even say welcome. The scales they use are old and not digital. How would I even ask to do a weighed feed for my newborn on an old scale with the bar you have to move? My 4 year old couldnt even stand still long enough to have it be accurate. They also tried to have him sit still to take his blood pressure? I have never heard of that. The doctor didnt ask any questions about my boys, what was their normal. Then they told me that with their shots they do NOT mix their shots, so instead of getting a smaller number of shots, they have to stick them 4 times. Even the nurse who came in said that was such an old school way of doing it because everywhere else does it. Since we moved to the area, I had my sons medical records sent there. The front office staff LOST IT, and every time I called to see if they found it, they gave me some run-around as to why they couldnt find it. Will not be going back.

Dr. Barnes is amazing! He always go above and beyond for the child. The staff here is amazing as well. Everytime I call someone answers, and they are always very nice and concerned about the child’s well being. I can’t express enough how grateful I am for this office. I know when I bring my child here that they will receive the best possible care.

Extremely rude staff, condescending attitudes for NO reason. Definitely two “Karen’s”. Due to circumstances out of our control, we are now using Sooner Care for our toddler and we are not ashamed of it. “Karen’s” tried to shame us, but we feel lucky to have insurance during this pandemic.

They were our family Dr. They refuse to see patients with any covid related symptoms. They refuse to offer any assistance after refusing service. What kind of a Dr. refuses to see a sick patient. When did we get to a point in society where we pick and choose who we help. Very disappointed in you!!

Updated review. Not an isolated incident, waiting 30+ minutes every single visit is frustrating and shows lack of respect for patients and parents time. It doesnt matter if this is the norm everywhere (not true at all), its rude, unprofessional, and inconsiderate, especially when asked to show up on time. In my experience, this is due to scheduling multiple patients per time slot. Another time, the doctor left mid-appointment and never came back. When I complained at the front desk, the doctor came to ask if I had other concerns; its been a long time coming. The doctor and staff are really nice but our overall experience has been tainted. We are taking our 3 children somewhere else.

Love Dr. Barnes and his staff! Everyone is always so friendly and accommodating.

LOVE THEM!!!! I get in EVERY time my kids are sick. No waiting for hours and Dr. Barnes will sit and talk with you and answer all your questions. I never feel rushed. They have worked around a busy schedule to accommodate my children. Never experienced better, friendlier service at any other doctor!!

Currently using other Doctor at this office not Barnes..... Rude staff, would not answer simple questions and talked over me. All that on a phone call. The office visit was a 1 hour wait after scheduled time and no one even cared to tell us just left us pondering in the waiting area. The little train they have is nice and so far thats about it.

Rude, condescending, and borders on inept. Time to retire. Save yourself the trouble and drive into town.
