Years ago I was involved in an incident (home invasion) where I was severely beaten and my spine was, neck and shoulders were mangled pretty badly. I was in physical therapy for nearly a year, which was helpful. Beyond that I needed something to help maintain function but couldn’t understand just what. I came to her office because I have scoliosis and It is getting worse. My hips and legs with her where I couldn’t walk that well i’m trying to stay out of the wheelchair. I was scheduled by Foutz Chiropractic for a new patient visit at 0915 on a Monday morning (their choice for appointment time). I arrived early at 0840 to fill out paperwork. Staff met me and was pleasant. I completed paperwork at 0850 and turn it in and was told I would be seen shortly. I sat in lobby until 918 watching 8 other patients walk in and be seen. Staff asked me a follow up question at 918 about my visit with no other contact until 0940 when I asked when I would be seen. Staff confirmed I had a 0915 appointment but could not say when I would be seen. Obviously they could not be bothered by a new patient when they had so many regulars. I went to Reset Chiropractic and was seen within 20 minutes. Horrible experience and even worse since they choose my appointment time and date and chose to ignore me and expect me to wait until they found time to see me. Why make an appointment if you cant keep it.
