My family and I have been going to ARC Counseling and Wellness for about 3 years now and they have improved our lives tremendously. All the providers are absolutely incredible. The front end staff, Elena and Arial, are always helpful, kind and empathetic. Their care and consideration during the pandemic has also solidified why I chose this business for my mental health needs as they put their clients needs at the forefront.

I know Dr. Marissa Long to be super experienced and skilled at helping her clients. This group practice has a number of clinicians that I cant speak to personally but if Dr. Long runs her therapy practice the way she helps her clients, Id bet the other therapists in her team are great resources as well.

A true, caring professional. As a fellow therapist, I cannot speak highly enough of the work this organization does for folks. I feel lucky to know Dr. Long as a colleague and as a mentor.

I don’t know what happened with the lady above - every visit I’ve had with the ARC has been great! The front office last to the owner to my provider are amazing! I guess she was upset she was going to be charged a cancellation fee, that is standard for the practices I’ve been to. Even my regular doctor charges a cancellation fee. I have never felt like any one there was rude or didn’t care about me. I got calls from the front office if I’ve been “missing” for too long. ^__— I haven’t gotten that anywhere else. I love ARC!

If you have a history of depression the please do not come here. The therapist is okay, she did not remember me the second time we had our session together which was a little odd. Honestly just a really weird vibe to the entire thing. They definitely care more about money than the patients health and well being, as they have tried to schedule me more than what i could afford (they knew this because I was referred here). Also the coordinators are just off, yes she was civil but when I explained that I can not afford a $125 cancellation fee and would rather just attend the session even when I told my therapist I can only afford biweekly meetings, she was hostile and just very off putting. We are in such a fragile state, everyone with the trauma of 2020, compassion (especially in a setting that provides therapeutic services) is literally the bare minimum. Just the worst experience and will definitely contribute to my stress of trying to reach out when I am in a suicidal/depressive episode. Only giving one star because the therapist is alright, her forgetting me was a little weird and made my experience just overall odd.

I have been seeing Dr. Long as my therapist both individually and for couples therapy since about March 2015. We decided that we all felt comfortable having one doctor get to see both my husband and I together and individually. I can personally attest that I owe my wonderful marriage directly to the help and tools Dr. Long provided us. She has given us the skills it takes to identify problems when they are still minor and work through them before they become moster issues. In addition, she has also helped us work through monster issues and compartmentalize them in a way that made each piece managable and realistic to work through.I have been personally diagnosed with bi-polar disorder with high-frequency mood swings. Dr. Long has helped me to identify the changes in my moods and learn counter measures to help prevent them from going to a level 4-5 issue into a level 9-10 issue. I would definitely say that I owe my personal and family happiness to her and I wish everyone in the world with mental disorders could have the benefit of having such a knowledgable, insightful, and overall caring therapist to help them in their journey to master their emotions and gain control of their lives again.Having a doctor help my husband through the many difficult situatioins and understandings of a wife with bi-polor can be very difficult. Dr. Long has helped him to better understand my disorder, my moods, and the tools we both need to use to get passed any issues we have. His life is better because of his understanding of my mental issues and he feels much more equipped to handle spending the rest of his life with me and my bi-polar.I owe so much of my life and happiness to the help Ive received, and will continue to recieve from Dr. Long. If you are ready to make a change in your life, open your eyes to the reality of the issues that may haunt you, and face them head-on knowing you have the tools to fight-back, then contact ARC Counceling, I promise you wont regret it.A++
