I went in just for a simple haircut. Mind set on one thing and as she cut my hair the length I wanted that I was dead set with she mentioned something about long layers and I asked her if she could do them if she had the time and she had no problem with it. She was super friendly. And I cant wait to make another appointment there

I had the best haircut from the manager! She took her time with me. Made sure it was what I wanted. Was very gentle and made sure I was happy when I left. This lady is A plus in my book and I will definitely be back to see her. Thank you!

My son is very particular about his hair and has struggled with hair cuts that make him smile. Today, Jessica went above and beyond to make him smile and cut his hair exactly the way he wanted. She was patient and kind! She really went the extra mile to make him happy.

I had Cara as my stylist. She cut my hair short and I absolutely love it!! Used great products and was overall a great experience.

This is the only hair salon I go to. The hairdressers are very nice and usually do a great job. They will work with a budget which is awesome!

Jessica from Claremont Smart Style salon got me right in to have my hair washed and cut, she did a wonderful job and even ran to go get a cart for me to set my infant car seat in while she did my hair. Will definitely be going back!! Thank you Jessica!!

I would leave a better review if it wasn’t for the fact that I was suppose to have my hair done on Sunday at 10 am but when I arrived the manager informed me that she didn’t have enough time for me even though I called days ahead and explained exactly what I wanted done for services. This isn’t the first time this happened either and instead of trying to remedy the situation, apologize or even offer a discount for my time being wasted or the inconvenience the manager just kept telling me she had a full schedule and that she didn’t have time to complete services for me.So I scheduled a new appointment and told the manager again what I wanted for services. A cut, root touch up (highlights), a tone, and style.I showed up today and thankfully Micayla did not follow the page long instructions that the manager left her for my hair. It was nothing I had asked for and it was almost $400 worth or services. Micayla took the time to sit down and ask me what I wanted done and she did such an amazing job on my hair I am so blown away on how great it looks.But I am more blown away by how unprofessional uncaring and unapologetic the manager was about my services I was originally suppose to have and the complete disregard for what I asked her to schedule me for service on my new appointment.

I can’t say enough good about the staff. The same cannot be said for the way the business seems to be operated. Stylists are constantly interrupted by answering the phone, or having to greet a customer at the counter. This affects appointment times and frustrates the stylists as they have to stop what they are doing with their current client to deal with something else. The stylists are awesome, and seem to have good morale, but this model can only last so long. Hire someone to get the phone and schedule appointments so the stylists can focus on their work. Maybe a manager should do these things? I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time to get my hair cut. Out of those 45 minutes, the stylist answered the phone 5 times, and helped 4 customers at the counter. Ridiculous.

Before covid-19 you could pretty much walk in and get your hair done.Now you have to call about a day a head of time to get an appointment.The stylists there are generally really nice people. Clean warm atmosphere. Prices are about half of a personally owned salon, on haircuts.

Nicole was so much fun and did a fantastic job with my hair. I needed a color correction and she really took the time, even stayed late, to take care of me!

I booked an 11a appointment on Match 22 nd .2021WhenI got there, the gate was down and locked. No one around. I tried calling customer service , no answer . I called the salon number and let them know Iwasn’t happy, as no one eventried to call me to let me know they weren’t coming in, and yet this page says it’s. ‘Open’. I went back to do shopping later on and they weren’t openthen either.Walmart Customer service said they have received a lot of complaints of customers coming in with same story as mine recently.I got in with a reputable salon in neighboring town who was happy to be at service!

I brought my daughter in for a simple haircut. I noticed after the hair stylist was done cutting & was blow drying that it was very uneven so I said something. How she didnt notice on her own being a hair stylist, I have no idea.She trimmed it up but it was still very uneven. I was afraid to allow her to keep cutting so I just said looks good & left. She was very nice & polite but might need some.more classes on being a hair stylist? Now my daughter has a very uneven haircut and I have to pay again to take her elsewhere where to have it fixed.

Update: Kim G no longer works at this salon.Current manager will not give info on her new location. My haircut was scheduled to another stylist without my knowledge. No longer can recommend.Excellentt cut and pampering salon experience from Kim G left me looking and feeling better than I have in years. Dont worry, her station is on the back of the dividing wall so you can relax in private while she works her magic! I have silky-fine, thinning hair and left feeling like a million bucks. I was able to style my hair easily the next day, too. I only chose the Walmart place because its so hard to get in with a new stylist; but I was blown away with the skill and service. Thanks Kim G!

I have been calling since 0900 today, i left a message for callback. Nobody answering the phone.

After two appointment fails I will never recommend. Showed up for my sisters appointment for 11 and the salon not open. Waited 20 minutes and left. Got a call an hour and a half later saying there were “problems”. Don’t bother going here. Pay the extra 10 dollars and go somewhere else.

My wife and myself had appointments on explained to Katy how I would like my hair done and she did just the way I explained it to her and she is super pleasant to be around and very nice and also very talented I would recommend her to any one. My wife had Kim and she is just as pleasant as Katy and treated my wife the same way as I was treated and very talented stylist also. I think all the staff that was there are pleasant and very clean and they are doing good with what we are all through with in the world right know. Keep up the good work .Thank you.

I booked the online appointment for 10:45 am, received a confirmation email right away for the appointment. Within the next 30 minutes, I received the email saying that my appointment was scheduled for 11 AM due to a higher customer/ busy volume.I arrived at 10:55 AM and told the staff that I have an appointment for a haircut appt at 11 AM. She checked me in and did not mention anything about the wait time. Literally, I had to wait for an hour. They didnt take me in until 12:05 pm. Nobody checked on me and said that there would be a wait time estimation, how so ever no update. However, after waiting 45 minutes after my appt time, I ended up asking, and the lady was like, what was I there for? She had to look into the kiosk and figuring out who will be taking care of my hair today. There was another lady who was doing other customers hair, and she was right around the corner that we could see her when we enter the salon, so the lady at the front asked how long she would have that way she can take me in. She responded by saying about 20 mins. After the 20 mins passed, the lady that was supposed to take me in sanitized the area, checked out her customer. Sinc, it was 12:00 pm, she said shell be right back. Then, the other customers showed up that was scheduled for 12:30 pm. She took that customer in & finally, the lady that I had asked about the wait time, came back & took me in. She did my hair and took care of me. She apologized for the wait time being weird.I understand how busy it gets as I am a health care worker, and I totally understand the situation that can happen anytime but having your customer wait in for about an hour and taking other customers earlier than their scheduled timeframe is very frustrating unprofessional. I was satisfied with my hair. However, it wasnt the best, or worth it after waiting for that long time!I might be getting a response from the owner of this review portal, suggesting contacting the given number or a District Leader. However, all I wanted was that hopefully, nobody has to go through again like I did today! I believe it would be highly appreciated if at least updating the wait time to the customer, or even saying/ or suggesting them the actual timeframe like there might be a wait of 30 mins, were running behind & if the customer is waiting in the salon then maybe get in touch with them confirming that the customer has not been ignored, or neglected while checking out other customers especially the ones that are actually waiting in the salon. Therefore, customer service really matters!! This scenario makes me wonder, should I recommend my friends to this place?; If yes, then why?

Went to my appointment and there was no one there they were close didn’t even get a call from them they live up to there name in the comments don’t go here your wasting your time coming here they don’t need business if they can’t show up for there job I work at Walmart and they never have good story’s from my coworkers .

It took 20 mins to pay for gel. When the girl finally came to cash me out she had an attitude and behaved as though I had some nerve to come and buy product. Glad all my favorite hairdressers now are in their own place.

Kimberly is amazing, pays attention to detail, very pleasant, polite and listens to everything you have to say about what it is you want exactly and she offers great suggestions!! I will always request her for services.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. You can never make an appointment because the staff is so unreliable (the staff working blame it on that anyway) And you cannot do a walk in, because the staff is still unreliable. The one person working for the day books herself up by 10am. Lousy hair salon, need better management.

I traditionally go to Concord to get my eyebrows waxed as I work in Concord but I ran out of time this week when I planned to do them. I was so thrilled to hear that they do waxing here. Tracy Clow was TERRIFIC! Never have I gone anywhere where they put such effort into prepping, shaping and making sure I was happy with the result. So while at first just went here for convenience when I was done I felt confident with having the up-most quality care. Big thank you Tracy!

I called in the morning and made an appointment for 1pm. I got there 10 minutes early. I had to wait 20 minutes before anyone talked to me. Then they asked if I had an appointment and I said yes. She looked the name up and said well we over booked and there is still two people ahead of you. Then walked off! No sorry, no other information just left me standing at the counter! Very poor customer service, poor way to set a schedule and still can’t follow it. And the haircuts are not worth the hassle.

I Was pleased with my hair style except after I got home I notices a few slight mistakes. Though they were easy to fix. One side was a bit longer than the other. They were nice but also seem to hurry thru my cut, which, made me ver nervious.

Online appointments do not work correctly. If you schedule an appointment make sure you call. Time was suppose to be 12 pm with confirmed email. I was told it was scheduled for 1130am and they do not have time for another hour and a half.

The people that work here are very talented and the prices are great!

Mediocre service, 3/4 employees are straight out of cosmetology school with no experience and the only place that would hire them is Walmart. Customers are their guinea pigs for experimentation purposes. Price is pretty high excluding the tip and shampoo is extra too. I would not recommend this place for anybody.

I went for spiral perm and ended up with massy fried mop hair. The hair stylist did not even know how to roll spiral curl. I cannot even comb because so much damages. I went back to them but they say the curl came out good. They are unprofessional way talk and their look. The hair stylist did not have nice hair do and no make up. How this person can make a customer look nice when she did not know how to make herself look good. It was desister experience I never go back. I hate my hair and I can not hair down because too massy looking. I tell my friends and neighbors never go to smart style.

Place is a joke. I have been there a handful of times never a opening but not one customer in sight. They must lose alot of business turning people away all the time
