I’ve had a fantastic experience w/ the team at J2Fit and their custom online programming.I highly recommend anyone who is interested in taking their fitness to the next level to work w/ Mike and J2Fit.My workout regimen was impacted pretty significantly in the COVID world without access to a commercial gym. I spent some time researching my options and ultimately went w/ J2Fit.Mike has helped me:- Design a program from scratch that is customized to my goals w/ the equipment I have at the house- Improve my nutrition based off my goals- Diagnose how to improve my form on certain exercises through pretty cool video coachingI also have to call out that the J2Fit App is super slick and I’ve been impressed with the tech behind their business.All in all, this is a 5 star company and I would recommend J2Fit to anyone!

Mike is very knowledgable coach and uses his years of experience to give you the program you need to get to your goals. He has helped me with my strength training with great cues and great explanations to help me wrap my mind around some of the more complex strategies to lifting. I recommend Mike to anyone looking to improve their general fitness or if they need to win any athletic competition. Also he has great T shirts.

I’ve been working with Mike for years with online programming and really appreciated that he was able to adapt when everything shut down due to the pandemic. His online programming is easy to follow and even through my at home workouts, I felt I did not miss a beat! Mike is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does and I appreciate all of his guidance and advice. Mike does a great job breaking things down and after starting with zero knowledge of weight programming, I’ve learned a great deal over the years.

I have been working with J2FIT (Mike Dewar) for quite a few years and the knowledge and strength I have gained over the years keeps me coming back for more!J2FIT really tailors to your goals and also inspires you to aim for even bigger goals that you never knew you wanted. For example, one of my goals a couple of years ago was to learn more about Olympic Weightlifting and the next thing I knew I signed up for not one but TWO Olympic Weightlifting competitions and Mike was there for me every step of the way!I am currently an online client and absolutely love the programs that Mike writes for me – not to mention I love the app that J2FIT uses!

Mike dewar is absolutely the best coach for whatever your goals are whether it’s weight loss, strength and conditioning etc. He will absolutely transform your body into exactly what you want, his methods and training regimen are above and beyond what I could ask for. I’m currently an amateur boxer getting ready to turn pro and he has completely took my training to the next level I’ve never felt better or looked better I recommend him to anyone. I wanted to use J2Fit when I decided to get serious about my weight loss and muscle gain. Im an online client and I have constant contact with my coach (Mike Dewar). I use the app which makes following workouts and asking questions incredibly easy. Examples of how do to the exercises are also included in the app which was super helpful for me because I hadnt done that kind training in a few years. Mike also did fantastic job of giving me at-home workout routines that I could follow in the house with minimum equipment during COVID. Ive also been able to send videos that can be critiqued and help improve my form for all the different exercises I perform. He also connected me with an app that helped track the food I eat and allowed me to better prepare my body for workouts and losing weight. To this point, Ive dropped 12 pounds, decreased my body fat percentage and have gained muscle and confidence. I would recommend J2Fit to anyone who is interested in accomplishing his or her fitness goals.

Been working with J2FIT for a little over 4 years. Incredible individualized coaching that evolves as you improve. From beginner all the way to national level competitions Mike has the ability to continue pushing you to achieve whatever your goals may be. Highly recommend in person classes, remote sessions and personalized Olympic lifting coaching.

I am a lifelong athlete who’s worked with various trainers and nutritionists of all different backgrounds and approaches. After a relatively serious sports injury In 2014, I struggled with NUMEROUS different approaches to remedy my weaknesses and imbalances. Nothing seemed to work. I ended up reaching out to Mike and he did a full intake and immediately assessed what areas needed to be worked on. It is no exaggeration to say that within weeks I looked and felt better, stronger, more compact and balanced. Now on month 3, I’m becoming even stronger and healthier than before the injury. Mike is always responsive, attentive, and he knows what he’s doing. In a day and age where “fitness coaches” come a dime a dozen, Mike is the real deal and I highly recommend him.

I’ve had phenomenal results since I began working with Mike at J2FIT.My results speak for themselves:- 60 pound weightloss- Rehabilitation of 2 hip labral tears- Shoulder injury rehabilitation- Increased strength, flexibility, mobility, and cardiovascular endurance- Improved exercise form- Olympic Weightlifting; Mike’s patience with me has been award winning, as I’m not the most athletic or coordinated person!I continue to give him goals I want to achieve and he creates the programs that are easily tracked in the app. He then provides the guidance, support, and motivation to achieve them.Mike has also been flexible while navigating COVID. Ive been working with Mike at J2FIT for 8 months. It has been a great, and physically challenging, experience. He has improved my awareness of my physical fitness tremendously and continually adjusts to address my weaknesses and improve my strengths. It says something for a client to GO BACK to a trainer/gym after COVID restrictions were released. I could have ended it then, but its been well worth it.Whether you are young (teens and greater) or older (been around the block a few times), athletes or average Joe fitness, Mike can create a program that will work for YOU. This is not a cookbook program.Just as a side note...-- my son started with Mike just last week, and gives him a current thumbs up.Give J2FIT a call... you wont be disappointed.

Working with Mike at J2FIT is one of the best decisions I have ever made in achieving my fitness goals. Prior to working with Mike, I spent a few years lifting weights on my own. At that time, I lacked the consistency and the structure to know whether or not I was making real progress or just throwing weights around. Mike and J2FIT’s programming has given me the focus and the structure that I needed. I’ve had more consistent progress in a shorter amount of time than when I was training on my own. Mike has also helped me realize and overcome bad habits that I developed while training on my own so I tackle each exercise much more effectively. I genuinely look forward to each session at J2FIT and am excited for my future achievements. (Also, it helps that Mike is a nice guy. Seriously, he’s great!) J2FIT is the real deal—I highly recommend it!

Mike has been an excellent coach. I have been powerlifting and training on my own and with a few coaches for years, usually for athletic performance. However, I never had a true long-term strength plan or programming. Mike has not only helped me move from powerlifting to olympic lifting, but also helped me to improve my form and develop a long-term plan for mass growth and physical improvement. Whether you’ve been training for years or want to start now, Mike is your guy!

I have been following Mike of J2FIT’s programming for years and have never felt better, stronger, and quicker than I have with his insight. He helped me prepare for a multi-day hike in Southern Utah that focused on my muscular endurance and cardiovascular health. He helped me prepare for a 55k race in Arizona where I wanted to make sure I was maintaining muscle mass throughout my running regiment. When the time came that I wanted to transition from the traditional guy doing bench and bicep curls, and wanted to focus on Olympic lifting, Mike helped me learn the mechanics of the snatch and clean & jerk; making sure that form and integrity of movements was of utmost importance. He truly is a master of his craft and the focused support, insight, and guidance that you would hope to find in a great coach, you will find with Mike at J2FIT.
