I have been going here for nearly 40 years. The staff was super attentive and helpful. Dr. Mike spent so much time examining my eyes. He’s so patient and extremely thorough. My eyes are changing - I had so many questions which he answered in a way I could understand and showed me pictures. Aside from being an outstanding eye doctor, Dr. Mike is very personable - he feels more like a friendly neighbor than an ‘Uber doctor’. Of course I highly recommend Giovanetti Eye Care to all my friends and relatives. My husband came from Germany to have his eyes checked here - he was amazed!

Giovanetti Eye Care is a fantastic practice. I have been going to their office for over 35 years. The staff is friendly, the Optical Department is efficient, knowledgeable and affordable. Dr.’s Joe, Mike and Nick provide top quality care and make sure all of your needs are met.

Dr Nick was so thorough and explained everything he was doing during the exam. He was patient and answered all the questions I had.

Everyone there has always been very willing and happy to be of service to their customers. The inside / outside and structure of the building is always kept in good shape and clean. The Doctors are professional and friendly with their patients. The one thing that I will say is that if you need to make an appointment to get your eyes checked, make sure that you call them many months in advance of when you where considering have it done. They are usually booked that far out if you want late afternoon or Saturday.

I have been going to Giovanetti Eyecare for ~ 25 years. I have an adult daughter with significant vision loss and a son with special needs. I am aging and need significant correction. For years I was pleased with the expert care and concern. Over the years it seems it they are less caring and less personal.This year will be my last visit.

I’ve been going here for years, but I’m not sure the younger doctor deals well with kids. When my daughter was asked a question about whether she saw floaters or lights in her vision and she didn’t understand what he was asking, instead of explaining it, she was instructed to simply answer yes or no. I had to explain to him that she didn’t understand what he was asking her. I think if they’re going to see you get patients they should realize they may not understand the terms they are using.

Dr. Nick has been my provider for 3 years and he is great! The whole team is attentive and friendly.

When I was 14, I could not read the blackboard in grade school. This prompted my Dad to pick a good Italian eye doctor. 😊 My first doc was Armando, then Mike, and now Joe is MY doctor. It was Mikes suggestion that I try contacts and have been wearing them since my 20s. The staff and the Giovanetti family are the best in my book. I tried to get in to be seen for an eye condition and they were booked up. Julia made every attempt to get me in, but there just wasn’t time. She even went out of her way and called around to a few other places to get me in somewhere else! I don’t remember his name, but the optometrist spoke with me over the phone for 15 minutes going through scenarios of what might be going on and his suggestions on how to proceed. I was very grateful for their service and genuine concern, even though I was not a paying customer! Highly recommend.

Family owned and operated. They give excellent personalized and individualized care. You dont feel like a patient, more like a friend. They offer an array of options for your corrective lenses or contacts. They take time to listen to you and clarify anything you may be unsure of. Ive been a patient for years and have never had a bad or unpleasant experience. I would recommend them to anyone including those close to me.

The check in was quick and smooth. I love the new camera that takes pictures of your inner eye so that your eyes don’t need to be dilated. As always Love my visits with Mike. He is very personable and does a very thorough eye exam.The staff are very customer friendly!!

I had to wait a little bit for the doctor but it was well worth it considering the amount of time the doctor was willing to spend with me. He took the time to explain things in a way that was both clear and interesting. He obviously finds his field fascinating and that enthusiasm transfers into how he deals with his patients. The tests he ran felt more like games and he didnt try to sell me on a bunch of extras. A great overall experience.

Oh I had a thoroughly enjoyable Experience ! Was greeted at the front desk by a lovely Young Lady, I believe Her name is Mrs.Mallot. Then a Pretty Girl took me from room to room testing my eyes various ways. I was then told to wait for the Dr.. Well before I had even sat down this Handsome Young Man says “Hi, I am Dr. Joe”.Well Ghee Manetly was I Pleasantly Surprised !We went to His Examination Room & the Friendliness continued. Oh, He was very Professional in His Examination but He Spoke of His Family, especially His Son Nick. Who is a Doctor, actually 3rd Generation! Joe evaluated my vision very carefully and tediously in order to get the best prescription possible for my new eyeglasses. Before performing additional tests Joe explained very thoroughly, and in layman’s terms, why he recommended the tests and the costs after insurance, and then afterwards the results. Plus Joe and the entire staff, including the optical department, were all very professional and polite.

After many years with Giovanetti, we decided to switch to a different provider. Their ophthalmologists are still one of the best, but ran into several issues with the eye ware shop in the same office.Today, they refused to honor benefits my husband and I have on two eye insurance policies, we are each insured on each other’s eye plan. We have used each other’s benefits in the same shop before, but not today. We called another provider - no such issue.We did not feel welcome, the sales associate was reluctant to work with us. We asked to call insurance companies, only to hear she knew it was not acceptable. Sad to say, after 25 years, 3 generations of eye ware users, it is time to find a different place.
