Love Dr. Rutter! I met him 10 years ago as an adult patient. He worked with me when I had my trachea blockage, eventually doing my trachea resection surgery. Walked me through everything, worked with me and was able to give me back my life! (Love his New Zealand accent.) He has also patented his own surgical tools for use with his adult patients.

My son has been seeing Dr. Rutter since he was a year old. He was the only one who listened to me about my son having trouble breathing and was able to conclude that it was his adenoids. With that my son was able to breathe so much better. He has helped my son with his chronic ear infections and strep throat. You may have to wait a bit after your appointment to see him, but that is because he takes his time with each patient. He listens to you, the parent because we know our children best.

DR. RUTTER has done 3 airway/ trachea reconstruction surgeries on my daughter. He came up with genius plans to help surgically help my daughters squashed trachea and has helped to extend her life.I trust him completely with my daughters life and I would recommend him to anyone whose child has complicated airways.He also has a great personality and a good sense of humor.

Dr. Rutter did my daughters tympanostomy tubes + t&a. Despite being extremely busy(practice makes perfect), he took the time to put us all at ease and one year later, all is still well. Edit: I just found out that Dr. Rutter is one of Cincinnati Magazines Top Doctors for 2017. Well deserved!

If anyone out there is looking for a great doctor for any trachea problems see this doctor. I am currently 20 years old and had been getting trachea diliations every 2 months for 6 years in Madera, CA until my doctor referred me to Dr. Rutter for the trachael resection surgery. In 2017 I went for my surgery and stayed for three weeks to recover, thank goodness for this wonderful doctor or i would not be here today.
