My daughter had her her dyed for the first time.She LOVES it!The stylist was great with my daughter over the time it took to get everything done while I checked in every now and then .I believe her name was Andrea.The Salon is a cute cozy little place tucked into the corner of the mall and it was a daddy daughter memory that will last a lifetime.

The first time I was there I loved the color and cut and the price was competitive. The second time however, the lady that was more than likely the manager followed the stylist back to mix up the color. She only did a touch up not all over but I was charged the same price. The touch up was no where comparable to what was done the first time. When I questioned the price when paying the bill whoever was running the register at that time said Well I think she gave you 2 colors this time and just said full highlights. I will not go back.

They have rescheduled my appointment TWICE, both times within 2 hours of my appointment and they are offering no compensation. Id better get a darn good haircut for this.

Every time my daughter and I make an appointment, we get a call saying we need to either reschedule or we’re going to be taken back later than expected. The last time I came in, I asked that no length be taken off my hair, yet 5 inches were cut off. Same exact thing happened to my daughter right before her wedding. When she was getting her engagement pictures done, she came here and they wanted to reschedule her appointment. She was leaving the salon to go have those pictures done. This is why we make an appointment!!!! Today we were both scheduled to get highlights and a cut. One of our stylists called in. So someone was going to do both of our hair at the same time, which we appreciate, but that’s too much for one person. We both have very long hair and it easily takes an hour and a half to foil each of us. This is time I didn’t plan on spending at the salon. The frustration that comes with something that we consider a pampering mother/daughter activity, turns into more of a headache than a fun occasion. Today someone did say that they could do my hair but after the hoopla and annoyance of yet another JCP stressor, I’ve decided to spend my money elsewhere. I drive over an hour to get here because I usually like the results and I’ve come here for quite a few years. This is literally the 4th time in a row that we’ve had to deal with some kind of issue when we want to get our hair done. And every time we tell each other, “we’re going somewhere else”. My daughter only kept her appointment because she had a gift card, otherwise she also would’ve gone ahead and skipped out too. This is the last time JCP Salon gets the chance to give us the runaround. And from reading the other ratings, it’s obvious we’re not the only ones with these issues. In my opinion, it’s time to prioritize your customers. You all do great work, but it’s bad business when you’re constantly trying to rearrange your clients times after they’ve scheduled appointments to fit their schedule. Hopefully things change and you don’t lose anymore clients because of this issue.

Made an appointment for a simple eyebrow wax at 8:00. I arrived at 8 on the dot, and was greeted by staff. Was instructed to sit down, told that theyll be with me in a minute. Sure, no problem. While I waited I had to listen to one of the staff members cursing while trying to figure out how to close a register for the night. It was excessive, and she made no effort to hide her colorful language. Meanwhile, TWENTY FIVE minutes goes by and still the person who was supposed to be doing my eyebrows is no where to be found. I picked up my purse, went to the desk, and said I was leaving. I refused to wait any longer. I will not be returning.

Shawna was amazing. I went in for thick blonde highlights and thats what i left with. She spent alot of quality time on my long thick hair to make sure it was done right. I truly appreciate her taking her time and not rushing through it. She even stayed 30mins past closing time. Shawna and Julie are both very sweet dedicated hair masters!!!

Went for a balayage with Lauren, showed her a picture- she said she could do it. I was very specific about what I wanted. You can’t even tell I got anything done for $120....Just called the store, I was told I was going to be charged $70-$80 to come back in. Asked to speck to a manager and no one was there. I was put on hold without being told, all around bad experience for the price. Will be speaking to a manager (going in to show the “results” for the price) and never going back. Don’t waste your time or money.

If you want your hair to look awful, please go here. The first time I went to get my hair cut, the back of it was not straight, its like someone took scissors and went straight down instead of across. I called the next day to get it fixed and they assured me it would be at no cost. I felt a little better after that visit. A few months later, I went back to get a brown and Carmel balayge done. I sent the picture to the hair stylist to ensure they could do it. Of course they could. My hair turned out to be a mix of burnt orange, bright blonde and black. Not only did it look NOTHING like the picture, there were huge chunks of my hair that were not even colored. I went back the next day to get it fixed and it still looked AWFUL. Oh and on top of it, I was still charged $80+. You truly get what you pay for here. I would rather pay $10 for box dye then waste my time and money here.

Haylee is an awesome stylist. Her balayage work is excellent. My hair has never looked better, healthier or felt softer. When I leave I get so many compliments including my husband and he hates colored hair. She makes it look natural and beautiful. She also is friendly, cheerful, and talented. This is a great and clean salon. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the receptionist and other stylists. I reccomend anyone to go!
