Ive been to salon beck twice now and have been super satisfied with both visits. Alaina is amazing and even when I dont know what I want, she always impresses me!The prices and totally reasonable and theres plenty of parking nearby so getting there is a breeze.I had an appointment the same weekend as the flying pig marathon and the girls were courteous enough to call me ahead of time and give me alternative directions because of the closures.Couldnt be happier!

I had Chelsea and she was wonderful. She was so kind, quick, funny, and knew exactly what to do with my hair when I didnt know what I even wanted. I will definitely be going back to her. Also, for the quality the price isnt bad at all. Parking is confusing but once you figure it out its not too bad.

We had our makeup done for a wedding while in the area. The makeup artist was wonderful, kind and accommodating. I didnt like one small thing with my eye liner and she happily removed it and re-applied it. She also styled my hair after that. Overall a very pleasant experience.

This salon is awesome. My stylist always takes time to hear about my preferences and work through styling and shaping. Product recommendations are made, but not pushed. I always feel like a million bucks when I leave. Only drawback is that tipping is cash or Venmo only.

I will never go to this place again. I went there a few times and they gave me the same woman every time and she never did a good job even I wanted to change they put me with her anyway. Not long ago I got a different woman and did not do a good job ether. I saw her speaking to the first woman about me. I guess at this place if a hair dresser dose a bad job you can’t change without being gossiped about. I paid more than $200 and a poor quality job!

My husband and I just celebrated our wedding and chose Salon Beck to do my hair and make up. When asked what make up do I want, I looked at Felizia and said “like yours”! Thumbs up to you Felizia! Ashley Lauren did an amazing job on my hair. I had dyed with henna for about 1.5 years and decided to grow my hair out and not color anymore. So I had a very blatant line between the hair I was growing out (light brown), and when I last dyed with henna (red/orange). My hair was a complete disaster and most salons wont touch your hair if youve used henna, especially recently. Ashley L. took the challenge and made my hair look so much better than I imagined was possible! She lifted the henna out of my hair and blended the line between my new growth and the previously dyed hair. She seriously spent a solid 7 hours on my hair in one day. It was very worth it! The results were better than I thought theyd be and I was thankful that I didnt have to just cut all the henna-dyed hair out. She made it work. Thank you Ashley L!

If you’re looking for a professional style with a talented stylist, ask for Kristi. Didn’t have to wait when I came in, never have any confusion with Erin at the front which is a huge plus! I would give them more stars if I could!!!

Horrible experience. I got a root touch up and was charged $106.I was with a senior stylist. They have 6 levels above this level wow how much would I have paid for their top talent?What a nightmare they seem to nickle and dime you.I guess it cost extra of you want toner. I dont know anything about hair color but pretty sure I always get toner when they color my hair. Why is this salon changing extra for it and expecting me to know I had to pay extra for it.Awful!!!

Stylists there were super nice. It was my first time there and since its so crazy downtown with parking and streets one stylist actually rode with me to their garage and walked me back to the salon. As for my hair cut, I have never been more satisfied and felt sexier than now! So many people have complimented me on my hair and I have a style that fits my personality. The girl that did my hair is Kerry. I definitely recommend this salon.

Flew in from out of town for a wedding and was looking for a salon to style my hair. I found Salon Beck on Instagram and liked what I saw! Ronnie at the front desk was so nice and was giving me great recommendations for places to visit around Cincinatti. Cassie did my curls and my hair came out great. I expressed to her my hair could not keep great volume because of how heavy it was, and she went above and beyond to make my hair as voluminous as possible which lasted the whole night. Overall it was a very great experience

Ive been coming to Salon Beck for years and could not recommend it more!Along with being extremely professional, the staff is incredibly friendly and make you feel at home and relaxed (which is just what you need when youre making a big hair change!)The owner, Sue, is always sending the stylist to classes so they are constantly furthering their education. They are so knowledgeable and helpful so whenever I want to switch to a new color or cut, they walk me through what the best option is, putting me at ease. When I changed stylists a few years ago (for no reason other than my schedule no longer allowed me to keep my previous appointments) my previous stylist stayed included in making sure my new stylist knew exactly how my hair dealt with different colors/tones. You can definitely feel the team vibe and that every single one of their staff members wants nothing but to make you look and feel your best!10/10 would recommend! Shout out to Laura and Stephen--you guys keep me young!

Im from Washington, DC here for meeting with Small Businesses and was a walk-in for a pedicure but decided to get a gel set also with Mercedes. She was great. Nice young lady with a bit of spunk! The only challenges was that it was freezing and there was a gentleman there that while he seemed very personable I could hear him for awhile speaking with other clients about clients. Loudly. I know it can get loud in salons (thankfully its not a spa) but he was just loud. And to top it off it came across as gossipy. The music was all over the place which can be great but to go from mellow soft rock to Drake is strange. Salon Beck is a cool place but just could use a little refresher.

I have been going to Salon Beck for years and I am always thrilled with my experience. From the professionally trained stylists to the customer service they never disappoint!

I take care of my hair very seriously, and beside the lady who did my hair that seemed to be patient and thorough, but I wanted to go as blonde as possible and after I have seen other people who do hair do a better job on their clients for half the price I paid here. It was very expensive and could still see where my roots were grown in bad and I felt like 150$ was ay to much for what the results looked like it was barley a change.and I also dont like how the light at the end for pictures make it look better than it really does. I alsi got a partial haircut and she literally only trimmed what seemed to be a few ends and I reminded her to do the bangs.. Most likely wont be coming back, speaking with other professionals and seeing their work on similar hair to mine just really reminds me why I dont spend money at places like this.

Only once when Ive come to this salon have they done what I wanted. Either they dont have time to do what Id like, or it is their policy not to do the highlight that I want and my vm was full -what happened to texting? They do not have the training to do good highlights or base adjusts. Its an impersonal place and your hairstylist will stand over you while you are paying your bill to make sure you dont forget your tip. This salon is about 5 years behind salons of other cities the size of Cincinnati. Do not waste your money here!

Have been going to Salon Beck for about a year and a half. Love everything about my experience there. My stylist, Samantha, is awesome, I always leave with a pleasant experience and feeling on top of the world with my haircut, color, highlights and pampering.

I went over my lunch break for a Mani/Pedi and it was wonderful. Everyone was so friendly. I was greeted right away and offered coffee. Mercedes did a fantastic job on my mani/pedi. I tried out a color thats not normal for me and it turned out perfectly. I will definitely return.

The first time I went here was a great experience, but the second time I returned for a haircut with a different woman. I was very clear and told her what I wanted, I even brought her a picture to reference... she completely chopped up my hair, gave me ridiculously short bangs, pretty much the complete opposite of what I said... I had to ask her twice to thin my hair out. She just didnt seem to understand what I asked for and completely botched my hair. I know this seems trivial but its pretty distressing to have to deal with a really bad haircut. My hair has grown out since then but to be honest the way she chopped my bangs still gives me problems. Im sure that most of the people here are very professional but theyve lost me after my last time there. Just be careful with who they assign you with and make sure they know what youre asking for.

Laura is amazing!!! she takes her time and pays attention to detail and makes sure you leave the salon 100% content. she spent 4 hours out of her day to fix up my disasterous hair and she did GREAT! my hair hasn’t been this beautiful and healthy in a while thanks to her! she is fun and relatable too- so the 4 hours wasn’t boring and miserable haha!

I love getting my nails done professionally. So i went to salon beck and loved it soo much, mercedes was a awesome nail tech. She is full of energy, its a very nice place to work as it seems. I do have a problem with the staff since mercedes is of color i feel a hated vibe towards her and i just feel uncomfortable. Im happy and sad she is finding a new job, will follow her to where ever her future may be. But back to the salon; i do believe its a very bias environment to work in for ethnic women. hope it gets better....

I recently got a balayage at salon beck and was more than happy with the results. Kristi spent time walking through the balayage tone options available until I felt comfortable with my choice. The balayage looks SO natural. I definitely recommend salon beck and Kristi if you’re interested in getting a balayage.

I am biracial & wanted to get a curly perm since i have been natural for along time & cant keep up with it .... there is only one person here that does curly perms & he is very expensive . With how expensive you wouldthink he would know what he was doing , def not . I showed him pics of what i wanted & everything .... he placed the perm in , noticed it was weired bc he didnt add any perm rods . So i left it alone ... then he washed out my perm & then put perm rods in & let my hair dry under the dryer . That is not a curly perm . I kept the curls from the curl rods in for 3 days like he said & then washed it to my hair being super straight . I should have just got a black girl relaxer !!!! Disappointed 😔

I am usually someone who goes to nail salons that charge $35-45 for mani, pedis and eyebrow waxes, but I wanted to treat myself to a nice salon experience before starting school again. I chose Salon Beck because of the great ratings. When I arrived, I was a little shocked to see that the nail/waxing area seemed to be an add-on in this salon - next to the bathroom and the employees break room. There was one chair in the corner and two nail desks, which, for a salon downtown charging $100 for a mani, pedi and eyebrow wax, does not seem entirely fitting. I asked for a classic pedicure, which is approximately $20 more than the express pedicure, and frankly, they gave me a normal pedicure without any glitz - no paraffin wax or even heated towels. I will say that the nail esthetician Mercedes was really sweet and she did do a great job on my nails.The entire experience took more than two hours, but it had nothing to do with the actual supposed salon experience. After they completed my manicure, I got my eye brow wax which I was somewhat disappointed with and they burned my skin. And they did not even give me an opportunity to dry my manicure and rushed me out the door to see the next client. All in all, I would not go back and spend that type of money for the overall quality that I received. I expect more from a downtown salon charging that type of money, especially for basic services you can receive at half the price for the same quality.

I went here for the first time yesterday after the great reviews I read on Yelp and Google and I must say, the reviews were on point! I called on a Friday and they got me in that following Monday. I had an appointment at 5:15 and arrived at 5:10 and did not have to wait a single minute before my Stylist, Kate (aka KP), took me over. I showed her a picture of a black/dark brown to red ombre hair style I found on Pinterest and she completely mirrored what I had shown her. This was my first time getting ombre (which I have always been hesitant to get because of horror stories Ive heard) and I am SO happy I scheduled with KP at Salon Beck to do it. I live downtown so parking wasnt an issue for me since I walked, but if you need to park, theyll validate your ticket for you. I have finally found my go-to salon after living in Cincinnati for a year!
