Impolite, uncaring & unprofessional! Call times are unacceptable. I waited nearly an hour for an individual to tell me briskly to hold because she is on the other line. When I explained I’d already been holding over 55 minutes the woman just asked me again to hold.I called back to speak to an administrator named Debra who explained long hold times are to be expected.Since this is the standard experience, I suggested a system to allow callers to receive a call back instead of waiting on hold and she made no comment. This office has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in the medical field. Indifferent and unapologetic, this office needs empathy training. Fortunately, I found a responsive, caring practice.

This place has horrible costumer service. They don’t answer their phones making it impossible to schedule and reschedule appointments. The two women that handle customer service are also useless. They show no empathy. Whatever complaint you make it does not matter because nothing changes and no one that should have the common curtesy to apologize apologizes. HORRIBLE PLACE. I love my therapist but it if you are new patient STAY AWAY DO NOT GET SERVICES HERE. This place deserves no stars.

This office is wayyy better than the La Mesa location. The physician was cordial with my mom. The NP took the time to really listen to my mom and work with her on medication adjustments. She was not rushed. She was treated like a human-being. The front desk staff was kind and cordial with us as well

Dr. Deguzman will not return calls so if he prescribes you a medication that doesnt fit right with your body be ready to wait a month going thru hell before getting a call back.

My doctor is the best and she is the only reason I put up with is BS. Their billing department is super aggressive and beyond rude. You have to do all the legwork if there is any question about your coverage or a bill so BEWARE. The WILL cancel your appointment without telling your doctor. Unless you absolutely love your doctor avoid them like the plague. The last thing you want is this hot mess to deal with when you’re trying to heal!!

I want to make this review as critical as possible because I do have a positive outlook on this organization. In terms of therapist, the medical professionals Ive encountered here have been incredible and life changing towards periods of bad mental health episodes. My critique is more towards the administrative/clerical staff. For one, they arent too bad from my own personal experience in person getting the job done but I will say there is no sense of care or engaging welcoming attitudes when dealing with certain patients. I feel like it is already a big move for people to seek mental health care and the clerical professionals are the first people we encounter entering a psych clinic so a much more positive and welcoming demeanor might be first. My biggest issue with this organization is their phone etiquette skills. I have had moments where it took me a week to schedule a appointment because the phone was always on hold and/or no one picked up during business hours. I feel like the clerical team needs a bit of a refresher and reminder of the types of individuals that come into their business and how to properly greet and coordinate appointments sometimes.

Expect negative outbursts from patients with issues. So venting is allowed. I call it Tourette syndrome

The office staff has EXTREMELY poor customer service. The Doctors are only contracted with these offices, not employed. The manager is no better. Rude, unfriendly, blank looks on everyones face. No one seems happy to be working there and the staff seems bothered when you have a question. No matter what happens, youre never right. These people should not be working in this field.

I feel they take advantage of the fact that you’re in a Vulnerable state and charge you for random things. Excusing that it’s a late fee or whatever. I am in psych for a reason. How can someone accumulate 600 dlls in late fees or cancellation fees???? Knowing that you’re in a difficult state. Where mentally you are trying to survive and then they can’t see you, ignore you when you try and explain the situation. Dr. Woodford also charged me 60dlls to give me letters I needed, and when I asked the nurse practitioner for the same thing she did not charge me. I felt taken advantage of and robbed.
