Doctor Cochrane seems very caring and willing to listen to me every time. She is knowledgeable and will make you feel comfortable with procedures by telling you exactly what she needs to do and why. Its not a 5 star because the referral process was not smooth at all. It took a while, like 2 months, to get the referral clear. And only because I called my insurance and asked them to help me accelerate, or start the process. This was for a suspicious mole. So you can imagine how frustrating it was for me.I dont understand the Lakes Urgent name either. They have never been able to provide urgent care for me. Maybe Im reading too much into the name.

I would rate zero stars if I could. My daughter has epilepsy that is not well controlled. She needed to have a letter from Dr Cochrain for her neurologist. Although, the doctor will not give her her medication anymore, we are told it would take at least two weeks to get a letter stating her condition. BUT we can PAY for her medical records.The NP here are very nice and mostly helpful, but the doctor is uncaring and doesnt seem to know what shes doing. No bedside manner at all!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Cochrane for more years then I can remember! Both she and her staff have always been competent and caring! She explains things to me if I dont understand them, and she always answers my questions! I never feel like Im being rushed through an appointment! I will continue to see Dr. Cochrane as long as she will have me!
