My daughter just passed her CNA state test thanks to an amazing staff at San Diego medical college. Mrs Tuba who leads the staff is an amazing lady and I cant say enough about her and her willingness to keep encouraging my daughter all the way through and even to encourage my daughter to peruse more studies. This college is the real deal and I recommend it to anyone who is pursuing the medical carriers.

I did the 22 day CNA course and was very pleased with the experience. My clinical instructor was Mr. Walter and he was an absolute phenomenal teacher. He made sure that we were comfortable and confidant in our abilities at the nursing facilities, and treated us with respect. The school staff are kind and helpful, the school allows its students to come back and practice as much as students want and are well supplied with everything students need in order to pass the state exam. Thanks to this school I passed on my first try.

I cannot recommend SDMC enough.I wasnt originally supposed to go to this school for my CNA program. Although I was interested in going here, I picked another program over this one just because it didnt take as long to complete the CNA course and I was kind of in a rush. However, things went horribly wrong at the last minute with the other school (as in, they enrolled me for a weekend class - which would have had me finishing a MONTH after I wanted to, instead of the weekday class without telling me) so I had to enroll at this school at the last minute.Even though it was seemingly inconvenient at the time, I now couldnt be happier that things fell through with that other school because I truly believe this is the best school I - or anyone else for that matter - could go to.I was part of the first inaugurating class at the National City campus and I loved my experience there. We had the pleasure of having three different professors - Ms. Tuba, the owner and complete angel/sweetheart of a human being, Dr. Ray, an actual doctor!, and then Roy, our skills professor (also the resident sweetheart despite the tough exterior). They are all incredible! They DEFINITELY know what theyre talking about and truly care about your success not only as a CNA, but as a person as well! Theyre quick to offer any form of support they can offer you (ex. setting up interviews with places for you, staying to practice skills with you even if theyre not paid, explaining something in depth so you understand it, being a reference for you, giving you a list of 240+ practice questions for your written exam, skills videos to look at at home to practice, etc.). They are just AWESOME! I dont think Ive ever felt more supported by a place in my entire life to be honest. My classmates were the absolute sweetest and I felt so fortunate to meet them! Theres also a Facebook Group you can join where old and new students help each other out with any questions, let each other know about any job openings, etc.! Its just a great big community that I am so happy and proud to be a part of. Everyone just wants everyone to do well and succeed and its so awesome! The school itself is really nice too. It is beautifully decorated and you have everything you need and more! Parking might be a slight problem for larger classes (my class had 6 people in it, including me) since the area is shared with other businesses, but I wouldnt worry about it. It could potentially be tricky to snag a spot directly in front of the campus, but theres a large parking lot just around the corner (just drive past Titas Kitchenette and Island Pacific Supermarket) that has several parking spots available. So worst case scenario, you just have to walk 2-3 minutes over, which isnt a problem in the slightest.I have zero doubts that I will pass my certification exam with ease. I can confidently say that Ive received the best education and support here!Register to do your classes here! You will not regret it!

I found this school affordable and cheaper than the other schools. The Instructors are amazing and explain things in detail. If I did not understand , the instructors kept explaining things at all times. They also give Free tutoring class after class and on Saturdays. It was a great environment , we were all like a family. Gong to missed all my class mates.Especially explaining skills and practice Ms Tuba was great and a great Instructor, She gave us Saturday back up training after class training. Ms Amy clinical Instructor was all supportive and made the training fun and easy. Call them you will not regret. Tell them that Memet referred you. Give them a try, please. Got certified as a CNA and EKG tech here. Ms. Tuba is a great teacher who will give you all the tools and practice you need to pass your CNA certification easily (so long as you put in the time to practice). Dr. Ray taught our EKG class and he was amazingly knowledgeable and thorough with what he had us learning. You could tell he had a passion for the material and I dont think I could have gotten a better teacher to learn about EKGs. Got a job working as an EKG tech not long after passing and it is all thanks to this school.

If your looking for a school to get your CNA this is it!!!I went to San Diego Medical College and it was an amazing experience. I enrolled in the Jan 6th class and was done by the 30th. The course was 22 days including Saturdays. My instructor Dr. Ray for theory is awesome, he dosnet mind multiple questions. Miss Amber for clinicals is such an amazing and thoughtful person, she dosent mind repeating herself and loosing her voice to help her students succeed. Finally you have the director of the program Mrs.Tuba. She is a fantastic, heartfelt and passionate instructor. She makes sure her students are well prepared and ready for clinicals, and to pass their state and written exams. She has a heart of gold and is the best instructor/director I’ve ever had. If you get a chance to enroll I highly recommend it. I can’t forget the main lady’s in the front and their helpers, they are all so amazing and sweet. I enjoyed my experience so much I’m re-enrolling to do the EKG program.Best of luck to all of you.

I had every intention of attending your course. After paying admission fees and the first portion of tuition I still needed a physical. I completed the my livescan and only needed a physical. My primary care physician strongly advised Against attending for health reasons.Until this point; interaction with staff and administrators had been great. Actually I was looking forward to attending! I even donated medical equipment and boxes of unused supplies that help aid, and familiarize your students in learning. My primary doctor wrote a note explaining best he could w/o violating HIPPA. (As did I) Your top administrators and Dean felt it was insufficient evidence and gave only a partial refund. Claiming admission clearly states NON REFUNDABLE. saying your doctor only wrote on an RX PAD, and btw your doctors office hasnt called us back In general your company handled this poorly! This was a unique and very sensitive circumstance, in which your admin could have sought out the patience to reach out and contact the doctor again instead of questioning the integrity of an RX pad.My point being there could have been compromise. If you were to give a partial refund then why no supplies ? No other arrangements were even suggested. The way your staff/ owner included couldve done a better job. They did several distasteful things that did NOT sit well with me.1.) You questioned the note bc written on an RX pad? -As if I forged it?? * indirectly calling me a liar.2.) Couldve been resilient enough to contact the doctors office to get a better understanding.3.) Your establishment failed to provide uniforms, books and equipment that I already paid for.. This situation caused great stress going back and forth frm ur office.Although not a traditional student of ur course, I DO hold the credibility in dealing with your staff. Save you self the misfortune of attending this school. Over all a terrible experience who, dispite what they claim only want your money.**Important ** Chula Vista Adult and SAN DIEGO community college District offers the same Course and it FREE. Thats where I went after exhausting my resources on a school that failed to show the VERY compassion they prided themselves to be founded on. So much for that. Just disappointing

I definitely recommend this school. This school is one of a kind because they have a heart for the medical field, their patients, and their students. They are unique because when you come into that school you are greeted with warm smiles and excitement. They just want to see everyone that steps into their school grow. I mean really grow. Two years ago I took their 22 day CNA Program, passed the exam, and received my certification. With the training and education they provide they can guarantee a high passing rate for the whole class. After I got both my CNA and BLS certification I landed a job at Paradise Valley Hospital (2017) and a year later (2018) three days ago I got hired at Sharp Memorial Hospital. In addition, the school is well known for its reputation. They are not a big school or university YET but they definitely have what it takes to get there. I believe the passion they have will get them there.

In less than a month, I became a CNA/RNA! I highly recommend taking this program!I signed up for the 22 day CNA/RNA program in Oct. 2018 and in about 4 weeks I passed the state exam, completed the program and 174 hours of training approved by CDPH. Not only was this program efficient and cost friendly, but it was super enjoyable. Our teacher, Ms. Tuba, and the staff truly care about every students success and well-being; they treat you like family. They give you all the tools and support you need to be successful in the field and to pass the state exam. This program is so well planned that I am confident in saying that its fool proof - Ms. Tuba provides more than enough resources so it is honestly up to the student to do the work to pass. Ms. Tuba is an amazing teacher and super inspirational. Her enthusiasm and positive outlook in life is contagious. I left this program motivated and inspired thanks to Ms. Tuba. When I took the state exam, I talked to students from other schools and even watched some of them do their skills exam - let me tell you, you can tell who is a SD Medical College versus a student from another school. Its like night and day. SD Medical College gives you the best training there is.If youre looking for a CNA program, look no further!

I have taken lots of knowledge into my nursing career, taking the CNA course and being able to pass the state exam from first time motivate me to seek more success and explore more in the medical field. Even though I have the Medical Assistant Certificate since 3 yrs, the CNA taught me more about nursing skills. its just 22 days course and the fees compared to what you get its so worth it. If you are thinking about entering the medical field go for CNA first to figure out either you like this field or not; its better to find out early with enjoyable experience before its too late.
