I made an appointment this morning, but my Primary Dr. wasn’t available. Glad they were able to schedule me at 2:15pm. I checked in before 2pm on ny App and I sat in the waiting room, they texted me at 2:23pm that my room was ready, but the nurse brought me to the room until 2:30 pm. It’s now 2:55pm and still waiting. I read reviews on Dr. Rocha and they aren’t good. We’ll see!

You try to explain whats wrong with you and she just talks over you. She says you have one thing but let her know thats not it and she still orders unnecessary tests. Maybe if you actually listened you wouldnt have to keep repeating yourself and asking a question I already answers. The staff is really nice though. If you can grab another pcp.

I like Scripps Coastal but I had a bad experience with Dr. Rocha. First of all, I only scheduled an appointment with her because our primary care physician was not available. Had an issue where an emergency room labeled an Mri for my wife as routine that should have been urgent. I contacted radiology that would be doing the Mri and they said the only way they can make it urgent is if my primary care manager said it is urgent. The first thing Dr. Rocha said after I told her that and before she even looked at my wifes issue was, I cant so that so basically my appointment with her was useless. She didnt want to listen to anything I had to say and I think thats because she is a doctor right, nobody knows more than her. Thats what I got from her. She even told my wife that I dont want to listen. When it comes to my family, I want to make sure they get the best care so I will never get an appointment with Dr. Rocha again. I will change my primary care provider to another hospital first. Her reviews speak for themselves.

I waited an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment before I saw the doctor. The only reason given was that she had a talkative patient. No one cared to explain until they were 45 minutes late and they assured me it wouldnt be much longer...15 minutes later I was taken to a room where I wanted another 30 minutes. The walls are paper thin so do not expect privacy. Just choose another doctor and facility.

Terrible doctor. Doesn’t listen to you, doesn’t follow up. She will ask me how to put a bloos test on the system. She will only complain about her health issues instead of listening to mine.

She is such a sweet Doctor who listens to my needs and made me smile through out my difficulties . Thanks Doctor Rocha for your care.
