I am so happy that I found Camp Run A Mutt! I have been bringing my dog, Danny here for about a year now for an occasional daycare day or when I need to be out of town . It is so comforting to know that he is hanging out safely with other dogs in a cage free environment and is having a great time! Last week, Julio made my day! I got out of the car with Danny and before I could even say hello and introduce him, Julio says, DANNY!! Hey Dan Dan!! We love him! He does so well here! It made me feel so comforted and happy to know that Danny was remembered and that he wasnt just having a good time at camp, but that he was being loved during his day too! We have boarded our dog here on multiple occasions. We like the attention to detail shown by the owners. You can tell they are dog lovers and the staff is always very friendly. We like the live cameras and feel like our pup is in good hands. Highly recommend.

I heard several positive things from friends and colleagues who took their puppies to Chad and Pauls Camp Run-A-Mutt in Chula Vista. My puppy thoroughly enjoys his day at camp. He becomes very excited as he sees the camp within view. He comes back happy and able to settle down for the rest of the day. I love being able to watch my puppy on the mutt-cams. And whenever I have questions, Paul or Chad respond right away.

Lilly bear LOVES it, once mom and dad are out of sight. She is always happy to be there. The staff is phenomenal and they treat each pet, as if it were their own. I have a great but funny 100 lbs determined German Shepherd-Rott-Something pup and it is so encouraging when right from the start Paul and staff can pick up on this. They know when he was experiencing anxiety and reassured him that he was with family. B-man came home a tired, happy, and is currently a snoring dog.The staff is wonderful, accommodating and very patient. I mean they have to deal with dogs and people! They follow up with you if you have questions & give suggestions on how to make your furry family member happy at home. Nothing is pushed upon and they take the time to understand you & your dogs lifestyle.The facility is great and you can see there is a place for all kinds of pooches.I am so glad to be at Camp R-A-M.

The evening vaccine clinic for Paws 4 Shots is simply the best. Staff for both businesses are especially helpful and friendly. Glad I was able to get an available time for much needed canine vaccine via their website (clinic calendar - paws4shots.com).I will definitely return here for my dogs needs. Parking is ample.

My husband and I highly recommend Camp Run A Mutt Chula Vista for your dog. The staff are very professional and friendly. We started taking our German Shepard Puppy to Camp Run A Mutt because we moved into a smaller house and he needs a place to burn off all that energy and to be able to socialize with other dogs. We like that we are able to watch him having fun playing with the other dogs and playing in the water on their cameras. We had them give him a bath and they did a wonderful job. We also like that they offer so much more like boarding and obedience training.

We planned a trip to San Diego with our pooch and needed doggie day care for our visit. Found “Camp-Run-A-Mutt Chula Vista” online and filled out the registration paperwork and made an appointment for his “personality” test upon our arrival. We were met quickly at the front door the day we dropped him off (with his vaccination paperwork) and we installed their app on our phone and watched via cameras as he met all the other dogs in the expansive play area. It was quite amusing. As he passed his “test”, we were given the “ok” and off we went, picking him up later that afternoon. We did the same the following two days and overall it worked out beautifully. He was entertained and very well taken care of while we saw the sights. The employees are friendly and attentive, the rates are very reasonable and we couldn’t have been happier with how it all worked out. Definitely recommend Camp-Run-A-Mutt!

I recently moved to Chula Vista (Feb 2021) in the midst of the covid pandemic and all I can say is that the staff have been incredibly professional and conscious of protecting humans and dogs alike during these challenging times. Aside from that, I am grateful to have a place to bring my little ball of energy to during long work days or for boarding overnight/multiple days. I honestly could not be happier that this place was referred to me. I got a puppy during lockdown and even having two dogs before, I was not prepared for how much energy and destructiveness this guy would have (part-Husky.) He has pretty bad separation anxiety and having a place where I can take him (that he loves!) during days I need to get things done has been such peace of mind. I dont know if I would have survived without camp run-a-mutt, not even an exaggeration. The two owners are super caring and helpful and even provided some training tips for me. Everyone there always remembers my dogs name upon arrival and you really feel like each pet is cared about. Seriously, take your dog here!!

I absolutely love Camp Run a Mutt. I’ve been taking my Great Dane there for about 4 years now and have had wonderful experiences. Paul and Chad are involved and responsive, and they’ve noticed minor medical issues (allergies, etc.) with my dog before the vet does. The rest of the staff is always friendly. My pup comes home happy and exhausted every time. I’d recommend them 100x over.

I would only be able to give them 5 stars if I stayed there. Everything went well with his care. My only criticism is I wish they would open all the areas to all the dogs and their webcams had a better quality. I would take my dog again.

Oh my gosh I absolutely love this place. Took my pup here for his very first grooming (ever). He just turned 1 this month and I was hoping for an excellent haircut. I definitely got it! He is absolutely adorable with his new hairstyle. The groomer did an amazing job and she was super sweet. You can tell they love their jobs here and that they most importantly love the dogs that come into this place. If you were at all doubting bringing your dog here for a good grooming, let this be your doubt removal because they did an outstanding job!

My dog Mac always has a good time here. But mostly I love the grooming. They do a good job and Mac doesnt have to spend any time in a cage. We have also used their dog training and Mac has benefited from Pauls training.

I love this place I have been taking my dog here for a month now for socializing, day care and boarding. They constantly give you updates on how your pup did. They work with the dogs on behavior, teach them to listen to commands. They are well staffed, also you can tell the owner is passionate about this which is awesome. My only recommendations would be more shade but that’s only because my dog easily gets sunburned plus I think it would be awesome for the doggy cams to be 24 hrs. Our younger husky was not socialized when we took her for her temperament test, but Paul knew exactly how to help her and she has been doing great since we’ve started taking her there! She does so much better around people and is learning how to socialize with a variety of dogs. The owners and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and do all that they can to make sure that our pups are happy and that we are following up with any training at home. I would drive completely out of my way to keep taking my dogs here. I don’t see myself taking my dogs anywhere else! If you want the best for your dog, this Camp Run-A-Mutt is where your dog needs to be.

We have used this facility and their services even the grooming ones during the last two Thanksgiving weekends and Spot loved it, he recognized the place right away the second time and when he came out when we were picking him up, he reminded meWhen I was picking up my children from school and wanted to stay longer because they were having so much fun with their friends. This last time Spot needed his flu shot and at his regular vet’s they had run out of them and the owner of Runamutt made sure we had a last minute appointment at a shot clinic in Mission Valley to get it! Camp Run A Mutt has been a life saver for our family. We were able to take our dog to camp during a very stressful move, during home repairs and have him boarded during several holidays. The staff is wonderful, always greeting our dog when he comes in the door by name. It’s exactly like leaving him with family. It’s also reassuring to be able to check on him anytime by looking at their Mutt Cams and receiving report cards when he stays overnight. I like to think of Paul as the dog whisperer. He truly loves dogs and understands them. He helped us to train our dog and us helping us with our newest rescue. I really can’t recommend thus place enough. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.

I love Camp Run-A-Mutt Chula Vista. The owners Paul and Chad and other Camp Run -A-Mutt staff are so friendly and always remember my dog Maxwell when I drop him off. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad!! But, I definitely feel safe leaving Maxwell during the day for daycare or overnight for boarding. I love that the dogs are never put in kennels and have people interacting with them the entire visit. I also really enjoy the option of watching Maxwell on one of the many mutt cams. It eases my mind to see him outside running around and playing. The mutt cams also show the care the owners and staff take in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, which is much appreciated!! Again, it eases my mind to know Maxwell will not be coming home sick from something he caught from another dog. With that said, all dogs are required to be up to date on immunizations and the staff keeps well organized records on each pet. Prior to my last boarding I did not realize one of Maxwell’s immunizations had just expired. My vet was booked and I was in a bind to find a place I trusted for his immunizations. Luckily, Camp Run-A-Mutt offers a mobile vaccination service throughout the month. This was a life saver! My experience was so positive, I would consider using this option again in the future. I can’t say enough good things about Camp Run-A-Mutt. To top of his boarding stays, Maxwell is given a report card and groom, which is optional, but definitely needed after so much play! The groomer is fantastic and has met me personally when picking up Maxwell to discuss his cut. Chad, Paul and the rest of the Camp Run-A-Mutt staff have made me and Maxwell both happy customers. I highly recommend taking your dog for play or a stay!

I cannot say enough kind words about this establishment. Our Catahoula Leopard dog started coming to camp run a mutt Chula Vista in 2019. We moved to East County a few months later and acquired a Leonberger and a Great Dane. This past week, the valley fire made us evacuate our home with no where to turn with three dogs. I called, the friendly staff answered and told me they would accommodate all three dogs in such a short period of time. If you’re looking for an establishment that cares about the customers and their pets, look no further. I cannot thank you enough for your generosity during an unpredictable time.

Our pups, Luke and Leia, LOVE coming to camp!! We have been taking them there since they were 4 months old (they’re almost 2) and CRAM has been such a huge help!! Whether it’s training, shots, grooming, exercise, or even little tips for at home care, the staff always goes above and beyond. The pups recognize their harnesses (and in the winter, their sweaters) and know when it’s time to go to camp and get super excited. The boarding is amazing too! We let our pups sleep on the bed normally so being able to have cage free boarding is makes us feel so much better about leaving our babies when we travel and can’t take them with us.

We used to take our dog to the Mission Hills location which sadly closed down. On our most recent trip, we had to have our dog do his trial at this location, and when we came back to drop him off for his overnight stays they remembered him by name on sight after only that first trial. These folks do such a good job at caring for our pet when we cant take him with us on our trips. Super thankful that we can trust them so thoroughly to take care of the furry member of our family.

The staff and trainers for daycare have my thanks. My dog enjoys her social time at their facility safely.

If you have a Mexican Vet, dont waste your time coming here for anything.. They wont trim your dogs nails or even let them stay the night... They dont recognize/accept the Mexican Rabies shot, even if it was given that day, signed by the Vet, with all the required information necessary to bring your dog into America. Take your dog to Pet Smart or Petco instead, they accept the Mexican vaccines just like the CBP at the border.

Camp Run-A-Mutt is the place where you can find people treating you and your pets like their own family. My little dog is always happy when I bring her over for play dates. The place is clean and organized; the staff is very sweet and friendly, and theres a mutt cam where you can see your pet having such a good time constantly monitored by several staff walking around where your pet is hanging out with other dogs. I always feels safe and secured knowing my beloved pet is in the hands of such caring people. Thank you for doing such a wonderful service to our community by making sure there is a safe place for our beloved pet family members. Wonderful people! My dog has never stayed away from home overnight before but I had to board him for over three weeks while I was out of town for work. He came home happy and healthy and seemed to have a wonderful time. The people that work there really seem to care and to take an interest in each dog that stays there. It was comforting to be able to leave him somewhere that I know he would be well cared for.

Camp Run-A-Mutt really cares for its guests, definitely a home away from home for my Boston Terrier. He loves Camp. He wags his tail with excitement when I say Go Camp, and then quickly gets into the car to go. Plenty of room to play and relax at Camp, even a wading pool and waterfall to help them cool down during warm days. Staff members are always attentive and will let you know about any matter concerning your dog. Staff really cares.

My Frenchie, Maximilian Heartthrob, usually goes to day care and he gets so excited rounding that corner off I-54. As soon as I park, hes ready to jump out of the car to get to his buddies.Recently, my family had an emergency. We needed Max to stay overnight. My mother (his grandmother) was admitted to the hospital and the event ended with the family having to say goodbye to her. Paul knew about my situation and was so understanding and accommodating. The beauty of this place starts from the top (Paul and Chad) to their professional staff. We love to bring Koko to The Camp and she is always excited when we get near the facility. She can smell the fun and friends in the air. Theyve earned my trust and most definitely has earned Kokos.

Both Franklin (my dog) and I love this daycare. The entire staff is friendly and kind and especially knowledgeable about all things canine. I have used Camp run-a-mutt for daycare and also for boarding. Both experiences have been great. It is so nice to be able to go on vacation or just get a weekly break and know your dog is well taken care of. A week ago, Franklin got skunked, so it was an added benefit that Camp RM had on-site grooming! I have no hesitation to provide my highest recommendation.

I have been really Impressed with Run-A-Mutt. The folks are really Helpful, Friendly, and Able. The Pup doesnt resist going even if its for a grooming. He hangs out in the yard and usually watches. The staff is always prompting the many dogs in the yard to join in all on video live so you can view one of the five cameras. I have suggested several folks to visit. At least some have and reported back as happy customers..

We took our 8 month old golden doodle there a few months ago. Everyone there are great with the dogs and our dog loves being there. It is great for us and her because we do not have to leave her in our motor home when we are gone now. I only wish we knew about this a long time ago with our other dog. The last time we were there we had her groomed and they did a fantastic job

This place is awesome! Our dog Lilly is very hesitant with new surroundings and new people. The first day we brought our dog there she was a little nervous. The staff was very patient with Lilly and let us stay for an hour with her while she walked around the enclosures checking everything out and having her temperament test. They went above and beyond to make Lilly comfortable in our opinion! Now Lilly loves to go to camp for daycare and boarding. If youre looking for a great place for your dog to run around in a safe environment with great staff, look no further than the Chula Vista Camp Run-A-Mutt!

This place is awesome!! We took our to dogs their while traveling from out of town. After filling out paperwork, we took a tour and then waited to see if our dogs would get along with the dogs in residence. There was at TV set where we could watch the interactions.The staff do an amazing job of keeping the dogs happy. They have different areas depending on how active the dogs are. Both small and large dogs may be together but only if their temperament allows it.This type of environment is for social dogs. If your dog gets stressed at dog parks or with meeting new dogs, this might not be the right place them.We only came for day care. They did show us the grooming area and how they setup for open sleeping with dogs and humans.Now if only they had someone like this where I live, wed be hooked!!;

When we pickup him after a day or days He is still very happy. Camp Run-A-Mutt is one the best thing you could do for your fur-baby. The staff is awesome and knowledgeable. The best part for us was the socializing Clementine did with other dogs. Highly recommend!!!

My Dogs are a part of our Family. The staff are well trained and love dogs as well. I dont trust many people to look after my love ones but my Friends at Camp Run-a-mutt have me covered. I can count on them to take care, feed, and look after my pups while they play with their friends. Its amazing to see the staff, being fully trained in having full control over the yards with Big and little pups have a blast at play or chilling in harmony. Military Discount is Awesome, too. My husband and I love how our Yorkie and Pomeranian are cared for here. They have stayed overnight and I really like that there are no cages. We also get them groomed here and have always been very happy. Wonderful and caring staff.
