I grew up driving by the beautiful old barn that was here, and was kinda sad when it was torn down and the fields around it developed---but this a great facility and it is wonderful it as a hub of activity for so many kids and adults. My daughter is taking a Youth Fit class with Miss Frances and loving it. From being shy and needing me to walk her into the class, now she jumps out of the car with a See ya later Mama and not a backward glance. :) This facility has great views and is easy to get to from adjacent neighborhoods.

The park is cool and there isnt a lot of people, but everything feels a little outdated, the skate park is tiny for the amount of empty space they have to fill, ive lived here for 17 years and everytime i go there isnt very much upkeep and things to do

Very nice park full of so many activities. Specifically came here to see if there was indoor soccer but unfortunately the field has been ripped out in what seems to look like construction. Hopefully it is fixed soon.

Another great park in Chula Vista. They have a playground with covered picnic tables right by the rec center. Indoor and outdoor basketball courts. A good amount of parking space in the lot. Like the other Chula Vista rec centers, they offer a variety of classes for all ages. They are also open for use on sundays which is pretty cool. The few times Ive been here has been good experiences. Clean, well maintained, peaceful. A nice community space.

There is a small skateboard park, an indoor basketball court. Dog parks for different size breeds. There are open grass fields for sports, eucalyptus trees and walking paths all around.

Very nice place for me and my wife to walk while grandson practices flag football.

Great community park with great amenities and rec programs. Used to send my kids to Tiny Tots program for pre-school. Nice gym for basketball and other activities. Best deal going is the fitness center! Way cheaper than one of the big name gyms with a good variety of equipment for your workout needs.

Went here to play with some friends. The park and its equipment were all in good condition, though the bathrooms were pretty rusty.

We have my father-in-laws 82nd birthday there with the ping-pong tables in the pool table and the lounge and it was fantastic we had about 60 people there and we had it all to ourselves highly recommended but you have to be a live in Chula Vista resident of the city of Chula Vista in order to get to do that.

This is a great place for families and groups. Street parking. Picnic tables, shade coverings, playgrounds, fields, walking/running trail, duck pond, bathroom, skate park, and more. Upper and lower park areas.It would be 5 stars except that, because of the creek, there is a huge mosquito problem at least from April until October, mostly at dusk.

A jewel of Eastlake. The outdoor amenities are very nice. You might have to wait for a tennis court, but they do have rules posted if you are waiting and it shouldnt be more than a half hour for most. They offer classes for a small fee.

Elizabeth is simply amazing person! Professional, outgoing, and asset to the park and recreation department here in Chula Vista! Needs a raise or promotion to a director.

Clean, nice equipment and great playgrounds. The fitness class is great also. Free activity after school. Coach Francis is the best!

Went to a kids party and had great time. Facility was marvelous with large air conditioned room with 2 sinks and 2 refrigerators. Plenty of room for tables and chairs and up to 100 guests.

I love this park amazing how big it is. They have a field for every different sport really big. Also theirs is a lake close to the park

I have visited this park many times and Im always impressed by the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. This park has lots of open space and the facilities are good. I would suggest going to Montevalle for the ping pong and foosball table since both tables are broken there. The back of the park has a huge area and I often go there to fly my drone since the open space has no trees.

Cool place. Lots to do. There is a Rec Center, baseball fields, a playground, and more.

The place is always clean and not too busy. The only thing is there is no shade and it gets HOT outside.

Nice clean park with the cool gym sometimes they have open court volleyball for high school and middle school students. Can get a little busy when there is soccer practices and parking is a bit minimal

I hosted an event on Jan 30th in one of their rooms. The services were satisfactory and the process was smooth- BUT The deposit was $200, so I was charged, and I was told that it would be refunded within 2-3 weeks. It is March 1st and the charge is still on my card. I have left 3 messages for the person in charge over the course of 3 weeks. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A CALL. He is never in his office when I call. This is terrible customer service! I hope someone from the rec center reads this and takes action to prevent this from happening again.

Went there for our church picnic, nice! Not too crowded, they have a rec center and the place looks like its newly built. Only bad thing we have to make a reservation with the Chula Vista parks and recreation and pay $210, ouch!

Its a very nice Gym for basketball but the renting can be very frustrated as their website never tells us when the gym is being rented. And the fact that you can rent a BASKETBALL gym to play other sports *cough* ping pong *cough* is stupid. And when team practices are going on they close the gym lets say at around 4-5 but online it says the gym will be open until 7:45
