Dr. James Kim has provided me with excellent care both as a patient and as a person. He has always been forthright with me, with still being empathetic and kind. His advice on lifestyle changes has been very helpful at addressing concerns that go far beyond my heart health. His staff is also caring and friendly. I highly recommend him as a cardiologist.

Dr.James Kim is such an amazing Cardiologist not only for me but also my parents. He is so caring, calm, and very knowledgeable. He takes his time whenever we see him, and he is very detailed with outstanding communication skills. I truly appreciate Dr. Kim’s continuous follow ups and the promptness of his MA Cynthia. They are always both so friendly. Overall, Dr. Kim is the best Cardiologist that I have ever seen in San Diego. He will treat you with care and make sure that all tests are done properly. You definitely can’t go wrong with Dr. Kim.

After looking into Dr. Kim ive been told my past patients and MA that he tries really hard to push extreme procedures involving radiation because he will make the most money out of the patients. I feel this is very unnecessary

Dr. Kim is amazing. He saved my life while in the hospital. I needed a new primary doctor and he not only helped me pick one but also called the office himself to set up an appointment for me. The office staff does everything they can to get you an appointment when you need one. Dr. Kim goes above and beyond for his patients! It’s been a true blessing from God to have care from Dr. Kim!

Dr. James Kim, is a Cardiologist I saw at Sharp Chula Vista. When I went in for the visit he was very knowledgeable about the issues I was having and I was taken care of right away. After lots of testing I had answers and explanations of what was going on and able to have things resolved. My health and well being was put first and if I ever have a need for a cardiologist I wouldnt want to see anyone else!

Our experience with Dr. James Kim is that he is highly skilled and puts his whole heart into vigilant care of each patient. My husband has critical heart disease. We came to Dr. Kim because we could see that our old Cardiologist was careless with patients and feared what would happen if my husband did not get better care.Dr. Kim came highly recommended from other patients of our Primary Dr. From the first appointment it was clear Dr. Kim did care. He took the time to get a complete and detailed history. That lead to some specific tests. We were amazed at all the Dr. was doing. Based on the care by the old cardiologist we had no idea so much could be done, and should have been done. The tests revealed just how critically sick my husband was and how urgent it was that important medical interventions begin. The intervention treatments that Dr. Kim began has been so instrumental in saving my husbands life. When his illness caused him to be hospitalized Dr. Kim was already way out in front of it and that is why my husband is still alive.Dr. Kim is the best kind of Physician as he is both Highly Medically Skilled and He Is Highly Ethical and Principled. He takes the time to get to know a patients medical condition so he can know he is doing everything he can for his patient. He is easy to talk to, he listens to questions and concerns. That is so helpful for our peace of mind and understanding exactly what our part of the care is. He is a World Class Cardiologist and a 1st Rate Human Being! We are senior citizens.
