Prior to Covid-19 I, a vendor, was very active with the Third Avenue Village Association. I was active vendor at Thursdays Farmers Market. The lemon festival was fantastic as vendor.

They did a wonderful job with Taste of Chula Vista. The staff at the office were professional, welcoming, efficient, and fun. The event showcased Third Ave so well. I learned not only about new places, but old ones as well! How did I not know we had a theater company?? I want to get back to a couple of the breweries, and order poutine from Temp! Docks and Silver Dollar are cool ogs

Great lemon festival, with a lemon Merman captured by a pirate!

The experience was nice, we enjoyed walking around to all the different shops and stopping at the cafe for a coffee and a treat. But when we returned to the car we found a parking ticket for expired parking. I can understand why, we did take longer than expected, there was a lot to look at. But to see a parking ticket for almost $40.00!! WOW. I can see paying a small fine, but seriously $40.00! I now know why small local businesses are struggling. Dont blame the big box stores or Wall-mart for that. Its the City. I can tell you I will never visit this place again. Even tho it was nice, there wasnt anything there I couldnt have found at the Mall or a big box chain store and that wouldnt have cost me an additional $40.00 to do it. Until the City of Chula Vista changes the way they handle parking ticket fines, I dont recommend spending your time or money there. Its not worth the additional hassle and cost.

3rd avenue is up and coming!! Many resteraunts and shops and now even a few new breweries and bars! More nightlife on the way. 3rd Avenue association also coordinates festivals such as the Lemon Festival, Day of The Child and the annual Starlight parade and Holoday fair.

3rd ave is coming a place to visit most different venuea.
