Really nice RV resort. Only reason for the 4 stars is because of the tiny ants all over our assigned lot. Other than that it is in a great location, clean and quiet.

While this resort looks nice on the outside. I will never stay here again. Staff was consistently rude. They say free golf however you are required to rent a cart at $38. We made the mistake of leaving our clubs under our RV. They were stolen. Rv park is a gated community that doesnt even allow Amazon in. When I called the office to see if they had cameras I was told that yes we have cameras, but what do you want me to do about it and to call police. (which we did). The police showed and we did file a report but was told the RV park has had a rash of thefts within the park recently. Heard from some others that their clubs were also stolen while we were there. Pool was cold and noticed they heat it for weekends only. Hot tub may hold six people touching each other. Water pressure is horrible barely able to take a shower. The town has literally 3 things on the whats to do in Chowchilla. The nut farm where you can buy overpriced nuts and two churchs to visit. The price they have for what you get is high. Do not stay here!!!!!

This is a nice, clean gated RV park. It is easy to get to when traveling with your trailer or motorhome. It felt very safe. The pool and hot tub were closed which feels like an excuse to me when some are open and some are closed. The next park we went to just limited the numbers since it was outdoors. But as I said, it was a very nice park especially if you are a golfer.

We have been coming here for fly 20 years and love it. But something happened to the staff! We always in the past have left our clubs under our rv. We had six this time. 3 were stolen.2 kids clubs and 1 big bag. We went to report it at the office, in case it was kids and their parentsMade them turn them in. Or they left them somewhere in the rv park. My wife reported it to the guyAt the office and all he said was. Did you call the police? He did nothing else. Did not ask for her numberTo call if anything was found or turned in. Do the owners not care what happens in their park! We were not asking them for anything but a notification if they were found! This guy was rude and should be trained inCustomer relations with guests. Or at least warn guests about leaving their clubs outside.

We called this place all day long and left several voicemails. Finally at 9:40 we get ahold of the guy and he tells us he doesn’t check anyone in after 9:30… clearly they don’t return calls or messages. We are in a car with five tired kids at his gate and he won’t let us in with open spots. Probably some lonely single dude.

We were just passing through and stayed for one night. We have a 41 diesel motorhome pulling a 23 cargo trailer and were in pull through Site 49. Easy in, easy out. Wonderful stay.We also ordered takeout from the restaurant just outside the back gate of the park which was a nice walk after traveling all day. My husband had the steak salad and I had the Cobb salad. Both were excellent. We would definitely stay again!

While camping at the Lakes, we experienced 2 nights with a very loud & rude family, the adult male especially using very rude language when asked to lower their sound system. The first night when calling the night number all I got was voice mail box. I left a message, but received no response. When it happened again the second, I again called the night number, as the manager had suggested after I stated the problem of the night before. This time when reaching the voice mail box, I got a message stating that the mail box was full. So again we were at the mercy of a loud & rude neighbor. Fortunately this neighbor left t he next morning. This campground has a rule that says Management reserves the right to require any guests to vacate without refund, for any behavior that disturbs other guests. That sounds good, but if they dont answer the night number then what, we had to listen to the noise until the rude neighbor wanted to finally turn it off.Not sure I will return to this campgrounds.

The grounds are always clean & very well kept. We take our RV out to visit family in Chowchilla often & always stay at the RV Golf Resort. Covid 19 sucks! Pool, jacuzzi, clubhouse all closed. We had a site next to the pond(that was dirty) which was infested with millions of ants... couldn’t sit outside without them crawling all over us and the morning we were to go home, we woke up to ants inside our trailer. Our picnic table was also covered in cobwebs along with the hedges that separated the sites. All of their “grass patches” were filled with weeds. They must not clean their sites very well. I did appreciate the security gates.

This place has been one of our favorite places during 5 years of fulltime RVing. Been here at least 3 times.Dont know why, but the quality of the place has really deteriorated. Not sure if it has to do with 2020, but dont believe wed come back again. Its a shame because its a nice property but the grounds need serious attention. Hope they can improve because it really is a lovely destination.

This is probably the nicest place Ive stayed at in 9 months full timing. Its first class in every way. Beautiful, quiet, nice people, nice staff, every spot has a darling lighthouse for electricity/water and a large hedge between each site for privacy. The landscaping is all mature and includes many flowering trees and bushes, including lavender, jasmine, etc. Sites are concrete, with grassy areas. The birds are incredible and some sing loudly all night long. My only criticism (and theres nothing they can do about it) is there was a very strong, uh, agricultural smell at night. Probably a farm nearby. All in an a total gem and oasis, highly recommend.

What a surprise to find in sleepy little Chowchilla! This is a really awesome first-class RV resort in the Central Valley of California. Lots of pull-through sites, but the real treat are the lakefront back-in sites. Nice folks staying there, too! First-class bathrooms and shower facilities, matched by equally nice laundry facilities. If you are planning just an overnight stay, do yourself a favor and book yourself for a few days and enjoy this incredible resort!

One of the few places in the Central Valley that is a nice place to park your RV. Spots are a little tight, and it is a bit pricey (you can actually find equally nice places for a few bucks cheaper on the coast), but I recommend if you are travelling thru the Valley and need a place to rest. Although referring to this as a lake is laughable. It is a very small man-made pond with RV parking arrayed around it. Bathrooms and showers were very nice.

This is a very nice campground. Both times we have stayed here they have put us into a nice paved pull thru with 50AMP full hookups. This is a really great place. Fun for RVing and golf is included! Awesome fishing in the pond. Good place for families and retirees. Pool and spa are clean and heated nicely, golf club bar and grill within walking. Only reason for 4 stars is that the guy(kid really) they have at the counter and checking people in is slightly lazy (feet on the counter) and rude...and he was very pushy about all the rules (which are pretty standard for nice RV parks). A little customer service training and it would be 5 stars.

I came here for the pool. It is extremely small. They advertise that its open from 8:30 to 10:00. The reality is that they put chemicals in it at 9 so you cant really swim until 11. When its 103 degrees in the afternoon, it would be nice to swim earlier. There is a foul smell in the morning, dont open your windows! No Shade - important when its so hot! the grounds are nice with cement pads.

So my family and I stayed here for a full week. There are things that are good and bad about this place. The staff are ok. The sites are ok. The resort was just ok. The place was not kept up very nice. The maintenance crew came in for 2 days straight and only trimmed the hedges. Lawns were dying. Our concrete slab space 67 had broken glass all over it that I had to sweep off myself. The pool was falling apart my son cut his big toe pretty bad on the broken pieces of the pool on the bottom. The hot tub had mold algae stuff growing in it. There is a duck there that gets in the pool at night time and craps. There was duck poop on the side of the pool one day and I asked the guy at the counter if we could get it picked up and he didn’t seem to happy that he had to get up and clean it. He left little pieces of the poop still around the pool. The bathrooms are hit and miss when they are clean or not. The town has dairy farms near by so you get a wonderful smell of live stock throughout the day and night. They also decided to let us know when we showed up that they have an ant problem and suggested that we put poison down where ever we could. They claimed to have called a pest control company that were taking care of the problem but the amount of time we were there I saw no remnants of anybody doing anything. So nah we won’t be coming back. We are full time travelers and we would like to spend our money on resorts that take care of their renters.

This was a horrible experience.14 adults and 12 children, 6 spots is what we reserved. Some us arrived a day early, and enjoyed some time together, along with some other RVers. Nothing seemed out of line and we enjoyed the first night. The remainder of our group arrived the next day, the guys went and golfed and the wives and children remained at the RV park.As far as free golf, they failed to mention you must pay a cart fee.Soon after our departure to the golf course, the onsite camper in charge and the staffer on duty, decided it would be a good idea to threaten our wives with the possibility of removal from the park, for our kids doing what kids do.. Fishing, riding bikes and tricycles, ect. They made a huge mistake assuming the wives would be easier to bully or intimidate. They also stated that there were complaints from the previous evening, and told them, it would not be tolerated and we would be asked to leave.Even stating that they had not long ago, made a camper leave at 12:30 at night. They waited until everyone arrived, I am assuming to get all the money they could out of us, before mentioning anything about the night previous, our any of the kid problems.Take into consideration, it was New Years eve...Upon returning from the golf course, we decided to depart, some after only being there for only 4 hours. We get together often and our children are very well behaved. We have never been treated this disrespectful, our ever been accused of causing any problems. They stated that quite time is 10 pm, what they mean is silent time. We had mild conversion at our campsite, not loud or out of line. I believe all were in their trailers NLT 10:30

This is a beautiful RV Park! The sites are roomy, with paved parking pads and some grass. We stayed on a pull thru so it was plenty long enough for our 40 ft 5th wheel and our RAM 3500. You can choose 2 free rounds of golf per day on a partnering Championship golf course or the Good Sam discount (if youre a member). The golf course is walking distance. They have a small off leash dog park for your fur-babies. Dogs on leash are allowed in the office. The water is good quality = TDS registered 128. The electric was good not great ... we could run all 3 ACs, but to run the dryer we had to turn 2 of them off. Our only real complaint is that at about 9pm the water pressure would drop to less than 20psi. Could barely even get a shower!!! Thats why I gave them a 4 rating rather than a 5!!!
