I have seen Mark for about 7 years now I have 2 ruptured discs in my back and 1 bulging disc. Prior to him opening his own practice I saw him at Chino Valley Medical center. When Mark opened his new practice I had just lost my husband to a heart attack and I told Mark it had been some time since I had a complete go over so he scheduled me to get lab work to check my cholesterol, he put me on medication and 3 months later he did not know why I was there? I had to tell him to order blood work again to see how my cholesterol was which he did after he said OH YEAH. He told me to take 2 of my 10mg cholesterol pills and ordered a new script to take 20mg instead but he told me to take 2 of my 10mg until I fill the new prescription. At the pharmacy they said 30mg and I said no Mark told me to take 20mg now instead of 10, so he had written the script for 30mg instead of the 20mg we discussed and after all my cholesterol went way down to nearly normal so I knew it was not supposTammy BurnsYour review will be posted publicly on the web. Learn moreed to be upped to 30mg , that was corrected finally and then in Feb I saw him for a 6 week follow up as he gave me some medication to help me lose weight also nothing I had been taking for 8 years has helped me with back pain so my neighbor gave me 2 pills to try and she said if they work maybe my doctor would give me some, they did help me so I asked Mark if I could try them and he said yes and prescribed them for me, the next week I looked in my portal I noticed that that visit said under problems chronic pain syndrome and chronic narcotic user. I had only begun taking these new pills 6 days ago so I questioned him about it and told him that last time I was there my weight was listed at 253 and this time it is list at 315 and I told him of all the other mistakes in my records that were added in the last few months and then I was informed that because I took a pill from my neighbor to try that he would have to discharge me from his practice because taking a prescription without a script is illegal and I get that but I am not a drug addict I mean if you hurt you are going to try most anything and I have seen Mark for 7- 8 years so he knows me and I did tell him I know we should not try other peoples medications but I did and I was very honest about everything so I am shocked after seeing someone for so long and he prescribes a pain med that I tell him worked for me that my neighbor let me try and he boots me out of his practice. I do not drink alcohol, I am not a drug addict never have been and I even peed in a cup to prove that I do not take drugs prior to being put on my recent Pain meds! I am quite shocked so beware, I feel this was very unprofessional to say the least

I have had to switch Doctors 3 different ​times, there in the 4 years I have been a patient there. I was never contacted by anyone to let me know ahead of time by the last 2 staff changes until I showed up for my scheduled appointments. I was so disappointed by their inconsideration to inform patients that their Doctor has left the building to move somewhere else. Now I have to start all over somewhere else.
