The Ross Co. YMCA team, led by C.E.O. Steve Clever, change lives every day. This building offers a home for at risk youth, family childcare, after school mentoring, school aged athletics, adult fitness classes and senior wellness programs. The Ross YMCA is the most all-inclusive organization in Ross County and Im a proud member. The YMCA works every day to ensure that all residents of Ross Co. have an equal opportunity to learn and grow.

I LOVE my Y! I joined the Y when I first moved to town. It provided a great place to meet people and get my children involved. I’ve been a member for 6 years now, and my Y family is an integral part of my life. The adult classes are great, the facility is clean and well-maintained and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Ross County is blessed to have this amazing facility.

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm welcome. Once you start coming, they all make a point to know you and call you by name. The staff is always so helpful with any need or questions you have. The YMCA has replaced the old workout machines and purchased the latest equipment all in the last year. The staff offers so many different classes at times that fit my schedule. The fitness trainers and their staff are great in helping you on new machines, designing a workout based on your level of exercise and helping you reach your fitness goals. There may be larger and glitzier facilities, but nothing tops the way the YMCA treats me like family every time I am there.

Our kids absolutely love going here. From the staff to the facilities there are a number of things that you can do to keep you busy. The fitness room has been updated and if you can be at one of the open swims that are available, you can enjoy the nice pool they have. All of the staff are friendly and can answer any questions that you may have. I highly recommend this place.

Decent staff, decent facilities. Could definitely use an upgraded pool/ better aquatic facilities, but local swim teams produce high caliber swimmers regardless. Great coaching, and great team atmosphere

I love going to the YMCA just to work out on my own on the recumbent bike or to attend a class like “Chair Yoga”. It is helping me lose weight for an upcoming surgery and it is strengthening my knees and making it so it is easier for me to walk. Also it is an excuse to get out of the house for awhile and get active and be around friendly people. The YMCA is taking seriously the COVID precautions so you will be safe and be able to enjoy your time there.

We love the YMCA, and we get so much out of our family membership! Weve attended for group fitness classes, exercising, child watch (while we exercise), preschool/summer camp/day care, swimming lessons, athletics, and so much more. The YMCA of Ross County is more than a gym - it is an all-in-one, family-friendly go-to for us and others in our community!

The YMCA has been an incredible start in my health journey. Lydia is wonderful she has taught me there is always a place to start and if you mess up just start again. I plan on returning as soon as I can. I had a knee replacement 3 weeks ago and when Im done with therapy Ill be returning to the Y.

Very very family friendly place and fantastic staff! I’ve never walked into the Ross County YMCA and never been greeted and smiled at. They always smile and treat their visitors like family. The lifeguards are amazing and are very encouraging and welcoming. Overall, the Ross County Y is like my second home!

Thankful for this gem in our community. Many memories of Zumba classes and friendships. The past four years though I’ve watched my two children learn and grow from enriching child care environment.

I’ve been going to the Ross County Y for as long as I can remember! It’s almost a second home to me. The members of the staff are always friendly and helpful. The swim team gave me some of my best relationships and memories from my childhood.

We love taking our son to the YMCA! He enjoys his teachers, classmates, and all the fun to be had! It’s been a great learning experience for him!

The Chillicothe YMCA is a great place for physical activity, weather it’s swimming, lifting weights, or running, the YMCA is at the top of the list. The YMCA is well organized with a nice staff and top of the line equipment. I recommend you go to the YMCA in Chillicothe, Ohio today!

The Y staff are always friendly and accommodating. The weight room and exercise room are clean and accessible, and there is ample equipment for the clients.

The staff is really nice and welcoming, and I’ve made many good memories from swim team(s) and random visits.

I love the Y. It’s got a pretty cool steam room and a great pool. I’ve spent countless hours in that pool and I’d be sad if the Y went bye

I remember going here as a child for daycare. They would force you to pray before every meal and im not even Christian. Then once you said no they wouldnt you eat until you did. Another councilor got in my face when I was 10 because a girl fell over and I walked over to help her up I guess it was because I was white he attacked me since the girl was African American and started screaming at me infront of everyone. If I had the money Id sue this place. Kids dont need to have to deal with this.

I love the ymca its a great place! I just hate the child watch for people who work through the week and they only do it until 730, Me getting off at 630 and heading straight there with my family, My huband and I only get a 30 minute workout at best, I didnt know they would close eairler going into the Spring/Summer months, I thought maybe with it being brighter outside longer the hours would change for the better. I may have to cancel my membership and find another place to workout ;(

The 1 star was a pocket mess up. I love this YMCA!!!!
