Dr. Bea and her staff especially Grace are just amazing!! My daughter had her front tooth knocked out over the weekend. We are from out of town and Dr. Bea and Grace came in on their well deserved day off to take care of us. And take care of us they did. They were so kind and caring! Explaining everything in great detail of what they were doing before they did it and what the plan going forward should look like. Dr. Bea reached out to other colleagues in the community providing referrals for us. Both Dr. Bea and Grace went above and beyond. My daughter and I are so very grateful to both of them. Such professionalism and care. I just can’t say enough. Thank you so much! I highly recommend Dr. Bea and API !! They are the best!!

OVERALL I GIVE A 5 STAR JUST HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE!!! Ok so my very first visit here Im recommended to them from my primary dentist to have a checkup on my gums, so I had filled out all my pre registration paperwork that they emailed me and I was also advised when they scheduled my appointment that they would send me a reminder notice for my appointment, so I never got the reminder and I thought this was a little odd but I looked at my email and I had an appointment, As soon as I get to the office (Keep in mind this is my first experience.) I go see the receptionist and tell her who I am and Im there for my 11:30 appointment. The receptionist very rudely says your appointment has been canceled, weve tried texting you multiple times and you have not responded to our texts So I showed her I had not received any texts and she then tried to confirm my number and they were one digit off so she then says they gave me the wrong number also they had my date of birth wrong as well so my insurance could not be verified, the receptionist told me ill have to reschedule my appointment for a later date, I than explained that I had taken time off of work for this appointment and driven 20+ Miles to be there and I would like to keep my appointment, she was super annoyed with me and said Ill have to see if they can fit you in and then proceeded to say Ill have to pay out of pocket because they could not confirm my insurance so I said thats fine once again she did not like that and my appointment ended up being restored given I was to pay out of pocket & hope my insurance reimbursed me??? Once I got to the chair the staff was super nice and professional and overall was a very good experience. By the time I had completed my appointment & was ready to pay my bill the Other receptionist was soooooo awesome she had taken a professional approach and did the right thing and verified my insurance and had everything taken care of and she also apologized for any confusion that took place and wow what a difference that made, the other receptionist acted like it was my fault that she had wrong information and I should suffer because of it and had no professionalism to speak of and if it had not been for the super awesome receptionist taking care of me I would never have gone back but now I will but I will never deal with that other receptionist again she was awful as can be. Overall I soundly rate them a 5 but naturally give them a 2 due to the rude lady.

Having practiced dentistry for 39 years I can assure you there is none better than Dr Bea. No one can judge a dentist better than another dentist, and I give her and her staff my highest recommendations. She is gentle, kind, and her technique is tops. I would only take my family to the best, and Dr Bea is where we go. It is well worth the two hour drive (one way).

My experience of API was very positive. Dr. Clark did an exceptional job, both with the surgery, and with communication. I believe I received 3 (unexpected) follow-up phone calls from her to check in on my healing, and when I was having some side effects from the post-op medicine, I felt that she genuinely cared, inviting me to come in and talk it over in person. I wont say that the surgery was a comfortable ordeal, but Dr. Clark and staff did a great job in reducing my anxieties throughout the process. Quick shout out to Logan, too - hes a pro and brings a lot of personality to the sterile task of deep teeth cleaning. API is a Chico gem!

Second visit went as well as the first. Excellent staff, very knowledgeable and professional. The best part is they are very gentle with my teeth and gums. Office staff is quick and personable, handling my insurance process very smoothly. The wait between visits is lengthy, but I guess it goes with a big following.

The doctor was excellent. She was very informative as was her assistant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The physical office is very welcoming and had large exam rooms. I was very comfortable in their office. I would highly recommend this office to my friends.

Easy to find, very clean and professional atmosphere with patients needs in mind - mini fridge in lobby with drinks offered is very considerate. Seem to have a slower pace than my preference, have visited dental offices with more efficiency but friendly staff and helpful with insurance and preparing ahead of time for appointment such as emailing you a new patient packet ahead of time. Would definitely vr commend!

Awesome experience! I feel so grateful with the special care this dental place have provided me. All the staffs are so kind and thoughtful. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this office and the doctor Bea especially. Dr. Bea truly has been great, her knowledge is superb and her manner for patients is among the best.

To a person, the individuals Ive met while in the care of this office have been generous, attentive, informed, communicative, and pleasant. I was kept well informed of both the process for procedure and the aftercare, and Dr. Bea is nicest and most enjoyable personality that one might hope to find in a Doctor. My very first visit was a very good experience. The ladies at the front desk were warm and welcoming when i first walked in. The registered dental assistant who took care of me during my appointment was fantastic !Dr. B was great. She carefully performed a complete, thorough, and gentle examination. Once my examination was completed, she talked with me for 20 minutes or so about my oral health, the conditions in my mouth, and what she and her team could do to help me regain my oral health.I would certainly recommend API to anyone who needs the help of a great periodontal team.TammyChico, CA

What a great dental experience! From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out, I felt so welcomed and cared for! Dr B and her staff are so knowledgeable and a great at explaining everything I need to know about my needed surgery, to what my insurance will pay for and what I will have to pay for! Two hours in a periodontists chair is no picnic. But if somebodys hands are going to be in my mouth for that long, I want them to belong to Dr. Bea. She and the entire staff were/are first class.

I love this place. Its clean, well-staffed, and they answered all of my ridiculous questions. I dont have insurance that covered my treatment and they worked with me and didnt make me feel bad. It was a pleasant experience and I wish they were my regular dental service. Thank you!

Scheduled an appointment for a certain date. They called back and left a general VM that they switched my appointment without clearing it with my scheduler. The VM was brought to my attention the evening before the appointment. I called to let them know no ride was able to be arranged and I could not make the -altered- appointment. They now continually send me bills for the missed appointment that I didnt even make. I called back after a polite voicemail was left...to only get an extremely rude, condescending woman who had zero interest in amicably resolving the situation or even hearing why the mishap occurred. Instead I was told to very harshly change my ways and pay my bills or be sent immediately to collections.Wow. How would that even make anyone want to deal with the office? I asked to please speak to the husband/owner who runs the front desk. He was not in and she was the one who dealt with customers like me. I asked for clarification on what exactly they believed happened, and again I was rudely recited their policy on cancellations. Because of me they lost money, overhead, and couldnt schedule other people.I was almost killed on Jun 19th 2016. I have been in recovery for the past 2 months. All of my medical bills and correspondences are reviewed and sent to either a lawyer or my insurance company. Not only does Advanced Periodontics & Implantology company not care about you as a human being, they will make sure that you know that you personally cost them money, and are at fault, and should feel bad for it, while sending you to collections.I asked if I needed to come into the office and make a scene to talk to the owner, to which she replied Go ahead. What a hidden gem of an employee.....

Dr. Kolhatkar has treated me for just over a year, implanting one tooth for me. I must tell you I was not happy needing this implant, especially in view of the long duration of treatment and the cost. Dr. Kolhatkar minimized my anxiety by saying just the right things to me. She is a perfectionist in her work and is one of the most personable medical professionals I have ever met (and having spent 40 years in hospital administration I have met quite a few). Not only did she do a great job with my implant, but she also communicated very effectively with my primary care dentist and an oral surgeon I saw as a result of her discovery of a cyst in my mouth. I would recommend Dr. Kolhatkar highly to anyone requiring her services.
