Taking the Core program years ago was one of the best things Ive done in my life-I cannot recommend it enough. It focuses on a womans natural strengths, varying abilities and real life scenarios. If you are looking for a well rounded self defense course-this is it!

I was going into a new security guard job and decided I should brush up on my skills. David really helped me gain the confidence and quick acting judgment to defend myself. I now feel a lot more comfortable wit myself at work. Hopefully I will not have to put my skills to work, but I do think I can handle whatever comes at me.

I took my first IMPACT Chicago class back in Nov 2011, and since then I am hooked. IMPACT has allowed me to regain my sense of power and confidence. IMPACT, for me, became more than just a self-defense course. For me, IMPACT became a state of mind. The class empowered me to reclaim my voice and recreate a different ending. I am no longer feel like a passive bystander within my own life- I own my choices, my boundaries, and my body. I have the ability to say “NO!” but also to say “Yes!. I would recommend IMPACT for anyone person looking to take a self-defense course- for whatever reason. It was an amazing experience.

Outstanding program! I went through around 2000 and still think about what I learned. This program greatly enhanced my confidence in my ability to take care of myself. I have needed to use the skills around fending off unwanted attention. They worked well. I think every woman should do this.

I got my sister to take an IMPACT class and I am so glad she did. IMPACT has given her a ton of new tools to keep herself safe and she had a really great experience with the class. Thank you!

Aside from the martial arts that my children are learning, the Sensei has tought my children some extremely valuable life skills that they would use if they found themselves as potential predarotial victims. My daughter who became lost at Universal Studios last year, immediately found a security guard, which she had learned in class. This in itself, paid back for the classes. Highly recommended!
