Sorry, but No. But we called to get an initial consult and they immediately pitched a plan that consisted of 4 Visits (2.5hrs altogether) for $1300 without even seeing the patient first. This sounds like a business focused on raking in money first and patient care secondary. We were personally offended. NO IT WASNT about the money. Maybe its the zipcode for your office as to why your approach to new patient changed, but its not ethical.

I cannot recommend working with Dr. Simms enough! It was the best decision I could have made for my health. I went in after feeling off and seeing some changes in my body that I wasnt understanding after coming off birth control for the first time in almost 10 years. She was the first doctor that actually made me feel heard and helped me. I learned so much about how my body works from the blood tests and discussions we had. We also worked together to prepare my body for getting pregnant, focusing on diet, exercise and supplements. We were so blessed to have no issues getting pregnant and are currently entering the third trimester with a healthy baby boy due in May! I cannot thank Dr. Simms enough for all her work to help me better understand my body in ways doctors never have done for me before.

I have had hypothyroidism for nearly 20 years and I have medicated with Levothyorixine, prescribed by my general practitioner. Despite being at the correct dose (per *some* bloodwork), I was regularly cold, sometimes anxious, quick to go from not hungry to starving, and sometimes lethargic (despite living a very active lifestyle). After just two appointments with Dr. Simms and additional biometric (blood and saliva) testing, we both came to the conclusion that not only was I working against my thyroid by way of the foods that I was eating, but I was also suffering from iron and vitamin D deficiency. Additionally, I had moderate hormonal imbalances. These werent far-fetched, non-Western conclusion, but founded in more accurate interpretations and more complete biometrics. The prescription was a variety of supplements to address deficiencies and excesses.I appreciate that Dr. Simms did not push me to buy the supplements offered at her clinic, as this would have been a turn-off for me. Through some research, I was able to meet my nutritional and supplements needs in an affordable way. I have not yet had my biometrics re-run, but I know that I am better off. I sleep better, feel better (mood and energy), am no longer cold, and more relaxed. I highly recommend arranging for a consultation with her and bring any existing blood work results to support your discussion. Though she was not covered by my insurance, she was well-worth the cost. And, I was able to pay for my bills with my medical savings account.

I have been working with Dr. Simms for a couple of years now, and let me end the suspense by saying she is wonderful. My health has been looked after in a whole new way. I first approached her after I got turfed from my GP and GI specialist, unable to find anything wrong with me. They ran test after test, endoscopy, put me on various antibiotics, etc. After eliminating anything wrong with me, I turned to a naturopath. Dr Simms assessed my situation differently than any other medical professional I have encountered. Without going into details, lets just say that considering food sensitivities, digestive imbalances, making practical adjustments, and taking supportive supplements has given me a whole new toolkit to manage my own health. (with her support and guidance of course). Now - I still do see my traditional doctors for certain things, but Dr. Simms has become my go-to partner in my long term health. I dont fault traditional medicine for not being able to include the scope which she does...I am just grateful to have found a practice that embraces the smaller things, which arent really so small in the end. Figuring out my stomach issues was a BIG thing. And now I care for myself in an entirely new way. She has also been a partner for me in my journey to figure out my fertility. Or lack thereof. :). Take this time, especially in quarantine, to figure out how to make yourself better. Oh - she also helped my mother, who is against taking advice from ANYONE. I am grateful and hope that everyone can experience the benefits of working with professional like Dr. Simms. (Her office colleagues are also amazing).

My experience with Dr. Kelly Simms was literally life changing! I went to her for GI issues - I had stomach issues for 7+ years, had been to numerous doctors, specialists and hospitals, and the best result I had was putting me on a stomach medicine which generally masked the symptoms, but certainly never healed me, nor did it work all the time, and I would still suffer from frequent flare ups and other issues (and that was the best of many medicines tried and failed over the years). After two visits with Dr. Simms, we had figured out what was going on in my gut microbiome and my blood work (a few simple tests), and she put me on a 6-week herbal regimen (which was not hard to follow) which literally healed me of all my stomach issues and other issues as well; I was completely off my stomach medicine and still am to this day. It was truly life changing! One of the first things that struck me about Dr. Simms was how she really listened to everything I shared - she took detailed notes and would repeat back to me things I said, to make sure she was capturing everything correctly. She always sent me home with a clear plan of action and next steps - which she was diligent to make sure I was comfortable with. She is thorough, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about what is going on with you - she looks at the WHOLE person, not just symptoms, and devises a plan thats best for YOU....not just some canned solution trying to fit you in a box.Dr. Simms responsiveness is also invaluable. I tend to ask a lot of questions and she always responded promptly and never made me feel like I was bugging her. She was available via email and phone, if need be, and that meant the world. She is also sincerely understanding and flexible to what is realistic for each patient - with compassion and without judgment. After the 6-week herbal regimen, I was supposed to follow a strict diet as Phase 2 to reinforce what we had done herbally. I found that to be too restrictive for me, which I let her know, and she gave me an altered/less-restrictive version. Even that version was too hard for me (Im a super picky eater and dont cook at home which contributed to that - so the diet itself wasnt necessarily that hard, it was just me!). What I valued most is that Dr. Simms didnt make me feel judged or bad for not being able to complete Phase 2 - she instead gave me an alternative option which was much more feasible for my lifestyle. The fact that she listened and accommodated my nuanced issues was what really resonated with me and reconfirmed what makes her stand out above any and everyone else.My experience with Dr. Simms could not have been any better, smoother, and supported - and its because of her, as a person and a doctor. On a personal note, I also recently decided to make a career change into the Holistic world and reached out to her for advice - she was just as responsive and caring as every other experience Ive had with her. I know, without a doubt, that I will go back to her for any health issues that arise in the future and I trust her inherently, for anything.Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Simms, for changing my life in SO many positive ways! I will be endlessly grateful and humbled :).

This was the first time in my life that I was asked how I would like to improve my health and how I feel rather than just telling me my blood work looks fine. And I was given real strategies to improve my well being.

I am so glad I found Dr. Simms. In my 90-minute appointment, we went over every little detail of my health history and background, and she left no stone unturned. She is one of the first doctors Ive ever been to that didnt dismiss my worries off the bat. She really listens, and I am so grateful for her!
