They supplied my UNDER AGE SON with his ice machine after his surgery. The unit worked less than 24 hrs. Took weeks to get a new one because they could get a rep close enough to my location not did they give me viable options to meet a rep in the middle. I threatened to return the unit to the surgical center and all of a sudden the rep was in my area. That unit worked for about 48 hours. Again I called to get a replacement and they put it off until the unit was due back. After talking to others. They all had the same complaints. Garbage equipment and the support team is even worse. Best part, my son signed for none of this because he was under age but hes now getting the bills and they are going after him. Completely unethical!

Awful...I thought we have State regulators and/or inspectors to prevent incompetent and/or unscrupulous providers. They will not be supplying the BC/BS Plans much longer.

Sadly this place is not as reputable as they should be since one of the top orthopedic offices in Chicago uses them as their durable medical equipment supplier. When I called to inquire on charges I was told well, we tried to get through an insurance loophole but it didnt work. Who says that? And, when they claimed to have pre-authorized the equipment with my insurance. They gave me a reference number to verify the call with BCBS. BCBS said the call reference number is not even close to what a claim reference number in IL would look like. Anyone else smell what I do?Best part, I let the surgeons office know and they handled it. THAT is what customer service looks like.

My one star rating is directed towards the billing practices of Integrated Orthopedics.I will admit that I am glad that I had the device I used from this company during my recovery from shoulder surgery. But their billing practices leave a lot to be desired. My surgery was in January of 2013. Before my surgery, Integrated Orthopedics contacted me and explained how the billing would work, which included them mailing me a discount card to help defray my out of pocket expense. This was all great information. The company brought the device to the surgery center the day of my surgery and instructed my husband on its use while I was in recovery. I used the device for the first two weeks as instructed and the company sent someone to my home at the end of the two weeks to pick it up.Two weeks after the device was picked up I received my explanation of benefits with a check made payable to me. I had been instructed by Integrated Ortho, that once I received the check from my insurance company that I should endorse it and sign it over to them and send it in a self-addressed stamped envelope which I did after calling Integrated Ortho to ask if they had submitted anything to my secondary insurance and was told that they would not submit to secondary insurance until they had processed the check from my primary insurance and reviewed my explanation of benefits. I continued to receive a number of EOBs from my insurance regarding claims from Integrated Ortho. I did receive two additional checks from these EOBs, and waited for a final bill from Integrated Ortho, which never came. I kept that money available for when I did receive a bill. Finally in February 2014, I received a letter from Integrated Ortho regarding the payments made for their claim. I contacted their office and said I would send the amount that was needed to pay my account in full. The woman was very nice and very helpful. I mailed the check out that day for the amount she told me was owed. I had not heard a word from Integrated Orth until yesterday 6-5-14. I received a bill in the mail for my co-pay amount. The bill also said that the account was seriously past due, and I needed contact their office within 5 days of the letter (which was dated 5-30-14) to avoid collection proceedings. Keeping in mind that this letter came from their Chicago Office and I live about 30 miles from Chicago.I called the number as instructed and of course I had to leave a message.I do not have a problem paying the bill. My issue is that my surgery was a YEAR AND A HALF AGO, and that I have NEVER BEEN BILLED for this amount until now.It is a shame that Integrated Orthopedics has such a poorly ran billing/insurance department.

Terrible experience with one of their employees by the name of Chris. Very combative and unprofessional when trying to simply coordinate the pick-up of their equipment.Health Care providers should use caution when ordering equipment from this company.
