It took a bit to schedule an appointment (weekdays are easier than weekends) due to my work scheduled, but now you can schedule online! It will ask you for a credit card number by default but I think this is because they also offer membership plans if youre interested.When we finally confirmed an appointment here came COVID soooo had to postpone until is was safe to come out again ;-) This was absolutely worth the wait! Juan hit all the right knots, I was sore the following day which is to be expected when your therapist is spot on; but the following two days after my massage I definitely felt so much better. I dont get massages as often as I should so I had more that could be really handled in one visit, but did feel so much more relief than before I went in.Once Im employed again, I plan on looking into their membership plan!

I was having terrible upper back pain that Ive never had in my life. I wanted to go see a doctor or possibly a chiropractor, but decided to try getting a professional massage first. My masseuse was Ursula, she asked in details what Im feeling, how it started and where the pain was. She then spent an hour straight massaging the whole body focusing on the back muscles which she noticed were extremely tense. I felt instantly better but the pain was still present. The next day I felt sour all over, which Ursula told me its expected. Two days after the pain was completely gone and I now feel amazing.The team is very professional but the space is very fun and relaxed. I will definitely be back.

She really listens to my needs and will address any issues I have with any area that needs attention. I also tend to fall asleep during the massage because its so relaxing!! Clean space, nice rooms, and decent prices. I cannot see myself going anywhere else for a massage. Highly, highly recommend.

This is by far one of the best massage spots in the city. I have tried and tried again to find a reliable massage therapist but today I look no further! Tara hit all the points I talked about... and the points I didnt talk about because she was able to feel what was wrong and knew where I needed relief. 10/10 will definitely be a returning guest.

The staff was so genuinely welcoming, the facility itself was clean, warm, and beautiful inside. The actual service I recieved exceeded my expectations tremendously. Fabrizio was thoughtful and made me feel so comfortable almost immediately. He was present for the whole experience and of course very very talented. And even on the way out, the staff was so warm and helpful. I literally cant wait for my next visit!

Juan is by far one of the best massage therapists I have ever had. I have hopped around to 6-7 massage boutiques around the city and am looking no further after finding Juan at Bodylux. I have also had massages from 2 other therapists at Bodylux, who were also incredible. You really cant go wrong.

A great massage service but their administrative service is horrible! I cant tell you the number of times I have tried to call (even several times throughout the day) and got no answer. Or you can try to schedule appointments via their website but itll have errors too. I really hurts me to see such a good business be tarnished by stuff within their control.

The entry is a bit iffy, in the side of an industrial type building. The entry is not really overly warm, and is certainly dated, but the massage makes all of that meaningless. The Thai massage was perfect, with great communicative interaction to be certain the only discomfort is what your body needs to loosen up and heal. I felt comfortable and plan to return again.

Tried this place using a Groupon and was really impressed with the Thai massage! Its almost like a half stretch/half massage. I left feeling recharged and stretched out. Def recommend it!

Its a little intimidating to go into since the entrance is random, but who cares just look at the address.Anyway, I got a deal on Groupon for an hour massage. I went in with a migraine and enough tension in my jaw/neck/shoulders to make me wanna cry. Ella hooked me up!!!! She asked my issues, what I was looking for, used peppermint oils for my migraine... I left feeling soooo much better. I went home and just wanted to sleep!! Thanks Ella, you rock! I will be back.

My massage therapist was Mariia and she did a fantastic job. I had so much tension in my shoulders that she was able to release. I have a consult with the doctor next week... cant wait!

We host our client appreciation here every year and the staff here couldnt be nicer. Love this place, great atmosphere. The rooms flow into each other and the over all feel is wonderfully soothing. I havent had a massage here and mostly used it as a rental space, but I have colleagues who speak the world of Bodyluxs services.

One of the worst experiences of my life. I read most reviews & everyone was saying how friendly they are. Well, I did NOT get that vibe. They barely talk to me when i walked in but pointed to a back waiting room after giving me a clip board. The person I had felt like she was putting lotion on me then giving me a relaxing massage. I got terrible news so I was crying & instead of say feel better. She said. ..good to know....when I said the tears wasnt due to massage. The place is dark & I felt uncomfortable with the who hippie to cool for school thing. Just not for me .bathroom was the worst. Small w/ no place to hang my bag or jacket in stall. Overall a waste of my money. I desperately need massage due to major chronic pain. But left feeling I flush my money down the toilet. Very dissapointed & sad

Dont bother. I bought a Groupon to try this place out for my birthday. Scheduling is brutal, good luck getting in within two months if you have a job. I felt lucky that they had an opening come up on a Saturday for my birthday (appt was for today) and was really looking forward to the massage bc a lot of the reviews state the actual massage is very good here. Of course they called and cancelled it an hour before the appointment. I didnt bother to reschedule in...…..March.

I visited them 3 separate times and each time, what was supposed to be an hour massage was 45 min. Very disappointing. They said to arrive 15 minutes early to check-in and change, so for a 2pm appointment I was there at 1:45. I was on the table at 1:55 and my massage was over at 2:40 pm. I mentioned to the front desk and they pretty much ignored my questions. Not worth the disappointment.

Dr. K and her staff were nothing but incredible. She definitely know what shes talking about and has been in partnership with her massage therapists for 15+ years. We talked about the body and MY issues. Not just some general cookie-cutter consultation.The space is fantastic. Its not what you expect when you enter. The decor is relaxing and creates a great ambiance. Couldnt recommend this place more to people.

Got the groupon to try it out. Had a massage from Jacqueline. She is very pleasant, and has amazing hands. Very strong. I like deep tissue. Often, instead I get too little pressure, or lots of elbow action. Jacqueline was able to achieve great pressure with just her hands. Excellent massage, best I have had in a long while. Will definitely go again.

Do NOT buy thier Groupon, it is impossible to make an appointment using one, you can not reach anyone by phone. On the wedsite it says you can only cancel an appointment (if you were actually able to get one) by calling the number on the website, there is no option to cancel on the phone, place is a scam. There is a place next door called BodyLux RX, they seem way more legit.

Tony is the best massage therapist Ive ever had. He tells me what is wrong with my body and how I need to fix my posture at work, and gives me great advice. He always makes me feel so refreshed after my massage I highly recommend seeing him.

I have never been to a true chiropractor before and didnt really know what to expect. I slightly tweaked my back from picking up my daughter after an ice skating outing. Dr. Kathleen Morris is super communicative about her philosophy and process and expectations. She is incredible at describing what her process excels at and what her other practitioners do to fill in the gaps and relating it all back to science. She worked on me for about 25 minutes and then I saw Emily for some clinical massage. Again, Ive never done massage before, if you can believe it. Emily was extremely responsive to my body and when she noticed that I started to feel uncomfortable facing down, she tried different positions to help me relax. My back was nearly 100% the next day.

LADIES DONT GO HERE. My friend got a massage by Estaban and he sexually harassed her! All the manager did was waive the cost of her massage and said that the massage therapist will be reprimanded. My friend is traumatized, that costs way more than just the price of a massage.

I originally came here with a groupon for a cupping massage session with Jenny. She was lovely to work with. I have been back for 2 additional deep tissue massages with Mariia and both were great experiences. The rest of the staff are friendly and professional. There is plenty of parking, which is a plus.

Parking is there, but it is not always available, free. I like the environment a lot. I am giving 4 stars because I was very briefly helped and spent 20 minutes waiting without being introduced by anyone. Massage therapist, Juan, was very nice and understood I was feeling unwell that day.

Location is not too hard to find. Once u figure out waht u want stuck with same masseuse and your experience will be great! The have packages to get more bang for your buck and text reminders for ur appt.

When I walked in for my Thai Massage with Fabrizio I was limping and could barely lift my leg to put my pants on. When I left, the limp was a lot less pronounced and I can lift my leg and get in and out of my car. Need I say more?

Great place! The right massage therapist is a tough thing to find, like a good dentist or car mechanic. I did the Introductory Massage with Tara Filthaut (great deal btw) and had such a great experience that I bought the next two for the discounted price. Im strongly considering the 6-month unlimited package. Tara is an amazing therapist who knows exactly how to give both a relaxing massage while treating the trouble spots with the right mix of gentle and firm touch. Thanks to Tara and the Bodylux for a reliable place where I can go and relieve stress. (I put this up on Yelp too)

The Groupon only applies if your appointment is before the end date, and it can be a challenge getting an appointment less than two weeks in advance, so plan accordingly.The face pillow was not very supportive of the neck, and the room was uncomfortably warm. Furthermore, the massage did not have an option to be above the sheets, so a good deal of the massage was done through a sheet. It led to a small degree of chafing. The masseur was decent with pressure, but the aversion to direct hands-to-body-contact massage was off-putting to me.This is a very good place to go if you are uncomfortable with nudity, or with direct hand-body contact.

I am highly unhappy and dissatisfied with the way you manage your bookings, you treat your customers or potential customers with no consideration what so ever.You dont grant your customer with manageable sufficient time to reply to your request of finalising a booking before you swiftly cancel their booking and pass it on to the next customer not caring if they still wanted that booking or not.I highly recommend you have in bold text on your website PAY BEFORE YOU BOOK as you have shown that your business runs on the code of money comes first!!I DO understand you have a business to run and confirmations of bookings are essential to keeping your business productive but you should also practice good business etiquette and recognise the critical link between business protocol and good customer relations! THAT is what feeds the growth of your business US CUSTOMERS!!Youre not the only massage therapist in Chicago but youre certainly the most cocky to treat customers like that.

I had one of the best massages Ive ever had by Tera. I have to usually repeat myself to the LMT that the pressure isnt hard enough but Tera was perfect. I came in with terrible knee pain and tight muscles but left relaxed and pain reduction.The staff was very friendly and the prices were very fair. I would definitely recommend Body Lux for anyone looking for a massage, because I am going back, which I rarely do.

Eva was excellent and was well equipped to help ease a weird neck strain. Its an excellent ambiance and excellent service resulting in a wonderful healing experience.

Interesting. The check in staff is just filling the space, they are certainly not helping the cause. The waiting area is interesting. It will keep you visually entertained.I only had a massage here. It was ok, but it wasnt anything I would return for. The pricing here is Great, but Im looking for quality over cost. If you like an inexpensive rub down this is a 5 star. If you wasnt a guarantee of awesome massage everytime, you might look elsewhere.

I booked a massage online Monday afternoon(Feb 13, 2017) at 3:15pm, when arrived at the booking time, staff told me no appointment was found!! I figure I would just be nice and told them its ok and reschedule another one, they Confirmed another appointment the next day(Feb 14, 2017) when I was there, when I arrived on the next day, they told me no appointment was found. I couldnt believe it! No cancellation phone calls or even a text, and I wasted time two days in a row there already. So the manager Natalie booked me another appointment, this time I got a cancellation text after couple hours. I called them afterwards, no one answer calls during 3:20pm to 4 pm!!! Even they claim thats their business hour. So I figure to straighten this bizzar situation in person. I went back there, this time the manager Natalie who booked the appointment was gone for the day, and Joy, a rude female staff was there telling me she had a lot to do and why dont I wait until she finish all her stuff such as laundry and other things then she might look into the matter, this is the funnies thing I heard, so I told her nicely that I was there since no one answer the call, and dealing with customer is her duty there instead let customer wait hours for her, Iseriously I was wondering if theres something wrong with her mind! She finally agreed and told me she one would call me that night, after asking what time so that I can pay attention to the phone, given an answer, dont know.At about 6pm.that night Natalie the manager called with a Unknown number saying her name is Lee when I asked if her was Natalie the person I talked in the afternoon and booked an appointment for me but cancelled it in couple hours, she said yes. How shady those people can be. She started accusing me down nonsense because they someone called them with another number and they suspected since it was me called them for the same appointment that I booked online. I told them stop accusing me , this violate consumeras rights and personally attacked me. I simply wanted to book an appointment thats all, already wasted lots of times they didnt show any minimum professionalism. After hanging up with her call about 10minutes since I was in a dinner with friend , she kept calling me with scary private numbere and drained my battery.Those people Joy and Natalie, deeply rude, without any professionalism, Natalie kept calling from private numbers and accusing me getting really Scary!!!Professional stalkers ! Shady people, our waste of time and scary experience
