Where do I start. I included a tip in my initial payment via card. The man at the front desk goes “lady” and points to the tipping sign because I tipped $8 and not $12. This was prior to getting the massage. I said I would add more after the massage based on how it is and he shook his head. We go in, and the man tells our masseuse about the tip. He spoke in his language, but said “low tip” very fluently to the masseuse. The massage from then on was an hour of the most pain my bf and I have endured. When we told them to lighten up the pressure, they pushed even harder. We didn’t even get the full hour. I stood up after the massage feeling nauseous from the pain and pressure applied on my back and couldn’t breathe throughout the massage. I’ve been in severe pain for 2 days. Additionally, I asked for a female masseuse and got a male. As I walked out, the same man who asked for a tip again asked if I will increase my tip. When I said no, him and his employee shook their heads and again said “no more tip?”. This is the most money hungry business ever and I will not be coming here again. Not the first time this has happened, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt which clearly was an error. Please go to one of the other places in the area who are much better.

My girlfriend and I just got the best foot and body massage we ever had. We will definitely frequent this establishment and highly recommend it to anyone who needs a deep tissue, Asian massage. It’s the best!!! 😁❤️😁👏👏👏

Honestly it’s so sad seeing all these bad reviews on a small business like this. you get what you paid for. most of you are paying less than .50cents a minute, especially with the groupon deal. for businesses like this to even survive, they must rely on the tips the customers give. a $10 tip added to the $29 groupon is only $39! They’re getting paid less than a $1 a minute and even electronic massage chairs at malls charge you $1 a minute. Stop complaining about the tips. if you can’t afford to tip, ask your boyfriend/girlfriend to rub your back for free.over all,i’ve been here a few times and even took my grandma. we both enjoyed the massages. it can be a bit difficult to communicate, but they are very accommodating.

Poor customer service and too rough with the massage. I was in alot of pain the next day! Then argued about a tip after all of it. I can see if I didnt tip but they wanted MORE money for a tip! Will never go back.

Do not buy a Groupon voucher! You will be pushed to pay more to get the deal you already purchased! It makes no sense. The massage does not include oil and the description is not accurate. I’m fact, they even told us we could not get a service that was included in our deal unless we paid more. Ridiculous. Plus we got a refund from Groupon to take our money elsewhere. Hmmpphh!

Initially we called to schedule an appointment time on Mother’s Day for two people. We were offered a 2:15 PM appointment (1:30 PM at the time) and we tried to ask for a later time, but they insisted that we come ASAP. After a 40 minute drive, we arrived on time to our appointment and there was no room for us. The man at the front desk said there were no times and then when we asked if we should leave, he left and didn’t return for 30 minutes. We called the phone number and spoke with another worker and explained that we came on time, she then told us we needed to wait until 4:30 PM.It was terrible to waste our time for an appointment that we rushed over for when there wasn’t even room. They expected us to wait for 2 hours when we would have settled for a later time originally. They didn’t even bother to call back to let us know there was no room. The issue here was poor communication with their scheduling team, as well as a lack of professionalism when dealing with clients. I’ve come here many times and it’ll be my last.

Don’t buy the Groupon, they won’t accept it. Claims they’re only good “certain times”

Experience here was the OPPOSITE of relaxing. The massage itself is decent but they have awful management. This review will explain why others are complaining.I booked an appointment days prior, and when I got there, there was no one at the front desk. I could see theres only 2 masseuse working, male and female. Finally a lady masseuse shows up, doesnt greet, doesnt ask my name or my appointment time, just tells me to wait. I waited 15min and I walked into the other room and quietly said excuse me and nothing. After another 15min, she comes out and doesnt apologize for the 30min wait but just tells me to get the oil massage for extra money instead of the Group deal I had. Mind you, she didnt speak or understand much English so she kept saying ..or massage ok? I almost said yes to that extra $ oil but thankfully I said massage with the Groupon deal and she signed and looked disappointed. Then tells me to pay first, grabs my phone, clicks Redeem on the Groupon app. But something seems to be a problem and she calls her boss on her phone, then tells me I cant get the massage though she already redeemed it. I was confused and she told me talk to my boss and I was uncomfortably put on her phone to talk to a Chinese male. After another 10min of this, I finally was invited to the massage room. During the massage, she kept talking very loudly to her boss on her phone.I was very stressed but asked her whats going on and it sounded like shes doing her best since her boss tells her what to do. Shes just a masseuse with a kid trying to make ends meet, but its just terrible management by the guy who owns the business. She said hes somewhere close. Why does he tell one masseuse to basically run the business while youre relaxing at home giving her orders? I felt bad for the lady. He should be the one working the front.

They barely understood what we were saying we had to keep repeating what we were saying to them. When you first get there they have used slides for u to wear in stead of the disposable ones and they look disgusting. On top of having to pay extra for hot oil treatment and hot rocks the oil was cold. Instead of feeling good the massage hurt the lady was too aggressive I’ve never had a massage where the person gets on top of your body. I felt really uncomfortable, also the man tried to force us to give a tip they even followed us out the door and kept saying “tip them tip them” very aggressively.

We were charged an extra $30 for oil and hot stones. The ladies at the front desk informed us that our Groupon didn’t include oil. I’ve never heard of a massage parlor not using oil. As were putting our shoes on the guy at the front desk asked if we were going to tip. We were at first but after being asked more then once it felt forced and unprofessional. The guy literally followed us out the door yelling, “Tip, Tip, Tip”. I will never use this service again. Totally unprofessional!

Came here many time, depend on who working for you most of my massage was very good . I add on oil massage for more relaxing, last time the lady was very good but today the guy was excellent, I forgot his name Jimmy or Tony lol...

Comfortable environment semi-private masseuse therapist was very thorough and attentive the only thing that I didnt too much care for was people walking around in the background while I was getting my massage. nice prices friendly staff. This was my first time and I used a Groupon. It was well worth it. I will be back.

I went there on today. The rude desk clerk said I was late by 2 minutes qnd I had to reschedule. There are 2 Reflexology on the block. When I went to the first 1 I was told its next door... I returned their call and was told I had the wrong # and was hung up on... 2ho does that.

Chose couples massage. They were Not on time to appointment , finessed us out of $20 dollars after showing groupon plus they were not satisfied with tip they asked for more. It Showed massive greediness during pandemic. Only thing enjoyable was the hot stones.

Very poor communication as I scheduled an appointment the day before and 5 minutes before my appointment was told that I could not be serviced because they said “something happened” as if I knew what that meant. No compromise was made for my inconvenience of time and travel so don’t go here since they are absolutely not customer friendly and considerate.

Me and my husband had an amazing experience here! Everyone was so nice and accommodating, and we had the best massages EVER. We highly recommend, and we will be back SOON. Thank you, Carefree Feet!!

Massage Was amazing

Good massage but I did the upsell 1hr combo massage with hot stone. Zero privacy... the lady asked me to take my shirt off in the common area and I told her I didnt feel comfortable because there was no curtain on my spot and people were literally walking right beside my spot.. she told me dont worry, its only me and her at the common area. When I asked if the man up front would come here she said no. 5 minutes later I heard them bringing customers in and I felt extremely uncomfortable. At the end of the massage, she held up the towel so the people next me could not see me change.. Never returning to this place.. its ridiculous. Mind you I spoke chinese to my massuse so there was zero miscommunication.. she literally told me “dont worry no one is going to be here besides me and you in this common area”.. but she lied.. when I got up there was another male massuse doing foot massage with another customer.. And they make you pay before hand so theres really no use to complain..

The massage itself was okay, however there was a baby present in the massage room that kept crying which is LITERALLY the opposite of relaxing and what someone is looking for when going to a massage parlor. Additionally my masseur kept getting up (Im assuming to work the front desk, but because of this I got less than the hour massage I paid for), a woman was playing a video out loud, and it was just generally noisy in the salon. Overall, it was not a pleasant or relaxing experience in the slightest, and I dont think I will return.

I almost don’t want to write this review because I had such a good experience and don’t want this place to be crazy busy! It’s a bit more expensive than relax feet but well worth it. Make a reservation and come to get worked on hard. It was one of those hurts so good massages!

Purchased a voucher on Groupon for a 60 minute massage. Accepted the “upsell” to a massage including hot stones. While the massage was relaxing, I was a bit turned off by the “public” atmosphere. There are no curtains or walls between tables. Luckily, I was the first appointment of the day so I did not encounter anyone else until my treatment was complete. Worth the money - yes, but be aware that you have limited privacy if booking here.

Really unhappy with the advertising/marketing. I paid $25 for a 30 min foot massage when I could have paid $28 for a 60 min all over massage? The one I pointed to said “special massage head, neck, foot, shoulder”...he did the feet and said “done”...not returning.

Honestly, my massage was healing.I was invited by my cousin drove from Indiana....it was worth it. I walked away from that place better than I walked in.Thank you to my masseuse. See you again...

The place is nice, but the masseuse I got had weak hands. I barely felt anything. The place next door at least they always ask how much pressure you want. I only went here because the place at 2352 on Clybourn closes 2 hours early.

Asian business owner looked for every excuse to not honor my gifted groupon that my daughter purchased for my birthday and didnt expire until July and so he told me no more groupons here WTH ...Horrible massage was hurting me instead of making me feel better then they force you to leave their price for tipping wont be back

Week in advance for two people on my day off, of courseThey call 10 minutes before the appointment, after I’ve already traveled and drove around for parking to tell me they cannot take our two people appointment. And wanted me to wait 2 hours. Sitting or standing outside even though I had an appointment 10-30 min but 2 hours !Horrible serviceSo I canceled refunded my purchase.
