Comforkeepers Agency in Chicago, owned and managed by Jaspreet and Itay, has been more than an employer for me for the last four years. Can I even begin to tell you how wonderful Comfort Keepers is? Beginning from their head Itay on throughout the company? Even caregivers no longer working with clients or off duty have kept in touch to express their care.My sister first found them some years ago when an accident followed by surgery and a stint in rehab necessitated home care. As her needs decreased, Itay kept a personal eye on her. When she recently needed more care, they were there for her, even finding her Beth Myers at 2x2 Health, a private health concierge who oversees her medications and accompanies her through COVID to in-person and video medical conferences and has been her advocate throughout, a real conduit between the doctors and me, so far away.Itays care and compassion showed itself in so many ways, finding the right caregivers who are all caring and competent, but also fine tuning things so that their personalities fit well with my sisters. He even personally attended a difficult procedure to oversee her transportation and care and most recently involved himself in an important move to a more workable condo. Although this time the care will be long term, thanks to Itay and Comfort Keepers, my sisters condition has improved in every way. I am so happy that they have been there for us and that we can depend on them in the future.

Comfort keepers was my first job when I came to USA and I was an employee for 3 years.This company meant more than a job to me. I really loved taking care of my clients which was built on a sense of trust to make them comfortable. The employers Itay and Jaspreet Shalev are by far the best I’ve ever worked with. They are very considerate of their employees, good advocates, offer good benefits and provide flexible work schedule to suit your lifestyle. They provide updates, trainings that introduces and prepares you for clients and give gift cards annually for birthdays which I thought was lovely.I left because I graduated from school and it was time to continue my career journey in healthcare service which they were very supportive. Our family used Comfort Keepers to help my mother for two years while she was living independently at The Clare. Not did they provide exceptional communication and support to my sister who lives locally, but the caregivers that I met were sweet, caring women whom my mother truly loved. They also provided a reassuring presence when mom needed to transition to The Clares Memory Care floor due to her advancing Alzheimers disease. Comfort keepers reviewI was an employee of Comfort Keepers Chicago for 3 years. The employers are a husband/wife team who are hands-on with the company. They are compassionate, transparent, and good people to work for. I always felt appreciated for my hard work and had open communication with the office and my team. They sponsored fun events for the employees and clients to get together. They remembered my birthday all 3 years even sent me a gift card each time! During my time at the company, I was a student with a somewhat unstable schedule that changed about every 6 weeks. They were flexible enough to accommodate those changes. Otherwise, the work schedule was always set in advance consistently. This allowed me to have a stable income while focusing on school. The pay was competitive and included options for vision insurance, dental insurance and a retirement account with employer-matched contributions. I had yearly performance reviews during which I met with the employers and was reminded how much I was valued at the company. I felt comfortable enough to discuss clients or job concerns during these reviews.The only reason I left Comfort Keepers is that I graduated from school and left Chicago. I worked for Chicago Comfort Keepers for 3 years and really enjoyed taking care of my clients because of the positive work environment created by my employers. They offered to help me secure another job in my new city; which is very touching to me.I highly recommend entrusting this company with the care of loved ones. I also recommend working for this company.

We have used Comfort Keepers caregivers to care for my mother for the past two years and they are truly outstanding! Itay and his staff are incredibly easy to work with, flexible about scheduling, meticulous about paperwork and filing insurance claims, and overall, and excellent company to work with. The caregivers were all WONDERFUL with my mom, and several have become like family. They cared for my mom when she first moved to an independent living apartment at the Clare, and then helped her transition from independent living to memory care as her Alzheimer’s and dementia got worse. I can’t imagine going through this process without them. Highly recommend!

Monica is by far the best caregiver weve ever had. She is warm and friendly and always goes above and beyond to keep my mom comfortable. My mom lost all feeling from the waist down so she cant tell if she is wet or if something is poking her. Monica is always by her side checking to see if she needs to be changed or if my mom wants to be adjusted in bed. It feels like an old friend is visiting when shes here. Ive had nothing but positive experiences with comfort keepers. Ive tried a few other places in the past but this agencies is definitely the most reliable and eager to help. I feel like their hearts are really in it here.

Our family has been with Comfort Keepers for nearly six years. We have been extremely pleased with the level of professionalism, care, concern and overall service. We are impressed and satisfied with the technology Comfort Keepers employs to help us care for our loved one. For example, the life alert monitoring system has saved our loved one from a potentially life threatening episode. Just by the press of a button on his wristband, the paramedics were dispatched and arrived within minutes, while someone alerted our family to the situation. I can’t imagine what could have happened if this technology was not available. In addition, we plan to utilize the Grandpad, as well, to keep us connected to our loved one when we cannot have direct contact. In today’s busy world, the use of technology to improve your quality of life is necessary. That is why we are so delighted Comfort Keepers utilizes the best available technology, in addition to the human touch. Im incredibly impressed with Comfort Keepers. The staff is timely, knowledgable, and the caregivers genuinely seem concerned about me and my family. I am especially thankful for the kindness and consideration that Raquel showed to my uncle (who unfortunately, is not the nicest man). My uncle broke his hip just before Thanksgiving and I suddenly became the go to person for his care. I have three kids of my own (one home from college) and I literally had no time to organize. The discharge planner at Northwestern gave me a list of homecare providers and Comfort Keepers was the only company that could meet with us the same day. Not only were they able to set up care over the holiday, they made sure my uncle returned home with everything he needed prescriptions, groceries, shower chair. Raquel even cooked a small turkey dinner so he wouldnt feel left out. I cant recommend their services enough. Completely seamless experience.

The woman here thats been helping my mom has been great. She is very skilled, has been doing elderly care in Chicago for years and her helping with light errands and housekeeping, its been working out well for us.
