My very first visit. The staff was friendly and professional. The atmosphere was comfortable clean and had lots of helpful materials for patients to read and take. Dr. King was through with gathering information asking questions and listening to my concerns. I was impressed with all blood work being done at the center and prescriptions called in as soon as I left. My experience with Dr. King and her staff was A1 and I have already referred 2 family members to give her office a call.

The atmosphere when you walk in is soothing, the staff greet you by name. Your wait time might seem a little long but thats because Dr. King is very through. Dr. King is concerned with your health concerns and she takes the time to explain whatever you asked until you get an understanding.

February 2020Dr. King and staff were pleasant, but Receptionist talked very fast with head down. Dr. King seems knowledgeable, asked questions and seemingly has genuine concern for patients health. Im looking forward to having Dr. Nicole King as my PCP.I, however, have one suggestion...clean and disinfect the office.I saw several ants in each area that I was in. Too many build up dirty corners, the floor really needs to be cleaned and the office overall needs a good dust and wipe down. Im confident it is an oversite of the doctor and staff, but nonetheless unacceptable. If, not this will turn me away.Update: March 2020I am no longer a patient of Dr. Nicole King and explained in detail to Dr. King, why I will no longer be a patient.

The doctor makes decisions without gathering accurate information. This is obviously a troubling way to practice medicine.

Dr. Nicole King appears to be knowledgeable in Western and holistic medicine, but her office is run like The Department of Motor Vehicles. There is no organization to the office management. Dr. King should not have a private practice because a doctor needs to be extremely organized to effectively serve their patients.My mother is a Cancer Patient and we rarely could get the medicine that was keeping her alive because it would take days and sometimes weeks to gets prescription refilled at our pharmacy because Dr. King had not sent the prescription to the pharmacy. The attitudes of the office workers were unacceptable when you would have to call the office MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK to attempt to get simple refills for the medicine that should have been refilled days ago.My mother was being released from the nursing home and because we knew it would take a long time for us to ge a refill for her liquid formula (only source of food) for her tube feeding from Dr. King. We called Dr. King’s Office TWO WEEKS in advance for the prescription for my mother’s liquid tube feeding. My family and the representative from Coram (the tube feeding company) called Dr. King’s Office MULTIPLE TIMES DAILY to get the doctor’s orders for the ONLY FOOD SOURCE that my mother would have to no avail. My mother was released 2.5 weeks later with no liquid tube feeding orders from Dr. King and my family had to rush to the local Walmart and purchase Glucerna protein drink out of our own pockets, which was costly and is normally covered by insurance with a doctor’s prescription. We ultimately had to call my mother’s Cancer Doctor and she contacted Coram and faxed doctors orders for my mother’s liquid formula in less than three hours and it was approved by insurance.We had a follow up appointment with Dr. King two weeks later and she nonchalantly asked, “Your mother got her liquid feed order from another doctor right?” That was the last straw for my family because Dr. King asked us when we first met her, what did we expect/need from her as a Primary Care Physician. We told her that we needed her to manage my mother’s medicine refills like my mother’s last Primary Care Physician did in the past and she agreed to that simple request. Dr. King blew my family off for almost three weeks for my mother’s CRITIC AND ONLY LIQUID FEED FOOD SOURCE and thought nothing was wrong that we had to find another doctor to write THE SAME PRESCRIPTION that Dr. King wrote months prior.I would not recommend that anyone use Dr. King’s services if they are elderly or have a terminal illness (Cancer, HIV, etc.,) because getting prescriptions timely is key to a patient’s survival in those situations. Dr. King’s office made the stressful situation of caring for a Cancer patient even more stressful because you have to hunt them down to get CRITICAL MEDICINE REFILLS for the patient and they do not feel the same urgency to keep the patient alive and thriving.
