Laser hair removal has always been something Ive wanted to do but just hadnt found a place I wanted to go to. Back earlier this year, an influencer I followed in Chicago had nothing but great raves about it for underarm hair removal. So I reached out via Instagram and within a few minutes, Nikelle reached out and I was able to set up my first appointment. She was so friendly, explained everything that was going to happen, and what to expect. It was quick, easy, and virtually pain free, which I was expecting but nope no pain! So far Ive gone for my underarms, face, and recently added bikini line as well. Nikelle is so sweet, thorough with explaining, and super knowledgeable in her practice. I started seeing results just after the first session with her, I was shaving less frequently and my bumps and irritation under my arms was finally subsiding. For $199, you can get a small area done as a first time client apart of a monthly deal. If youve been on the fence about it like I was, give it a chance. With Nikelle, youll be in great hands! I cant wait to get skin care from her in the future to prep for my wedding next year as well.

I would rate this 10 stars if I could. Very pleased with my final results and overall experience with Dr. Yates and his team. Follow up was consistent and customer service was beyond satisfactory. They didn’t make me feel like just a number! Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a hair transplant.

After being tired of being told that either nothing could be done, that I was a difficult case or having a million opinions thrown my way, I finally decided to invest in myself, put away my pride and schedule a consultation with Dr. Yates, since he is a person of color who I assumed would better understand my particular needs. He was also recommended to me by a very reputable plastic surgeon in Chicago, so I was confident in my choice and decision. What I didnt know was that the consultation was sitting down with a patient coordinator for 10 minutes who printed out a list of dermatologists to see first. I didnt see the doctor and expected for him to at least look at my area(s) of concern and say, hello before wasting my time and money getting to his office for something that could have been handled over the phone. Maybe he didnt think that I was worth his time. Thoroughly disappointed with my experience. Giving it two stars because the patient coordinator Devin (sp?) was pleasant and kind.

Great experience all the way around. The staff treated me so well and made me feel comfortable during the procedure. Very happy with my results too! Healed very quickly and was able to get back to work within a few days. I had the FUE. Also, have to say- the Shampoo Dr Yates puts in the kit to take home is fantastic- very refreshing!!

Got an eyebrow transplant back in August last year. A complete waste of time and money. I paid 5k to still have to draw my eyebrows in. My eyebrows are still thin and Asymmetrical. The hairs that they implanted are growing all types of directions. During my eyebrow plant procedure the dr and techs were watching a tv show. They didn’t even give me proper after care directions. I had to call other doctors for advice. They DO NOT have the experience to perform this procedure properly. Please don’t waste time or money here.

Twelve Years Minimum Regained!Hair loss at the top center of my scalp was becoming significant. Engaged in several online sessions researching the various hair restoration methods employed from days past to the present. ARTAS robotic assisted follicular unit extraction (FUE) was described on several web pages as new and effective, which led me to...Dr Yates Hair Science! Several Dr Yates online videos answered my preliminary questions, one being that the front hairline is placed higher when one is older. (This was starting to look good.)Scheduled a consultation soon afterward to confer about my candidacy. Both Dr Yates and Robin the chief nurse examined my existing hair closely for quite a while. To their credit they will not recommend a specific surgical procedure should they determine the results will not be optimal and will present alternatives. It was determined that I had plenty of donor hair just above the neckline, hence ARTAS was the path to take. Surgery time was scheduled just after Christmas 2013.The surgery was extensive with 3000 hairs being moved which I surmised was going to prove to be a full day (see my future patient advice below). Those with fewer hairs to relocate will experience a shorter day, likely five to nine hours. Mine took over twelve. Bear in mind, artists are never to be rushed.Local anesthesia is used so any discomfort is minimal. Once underway just relax! You may be asked to slightly change position a few times.All the staff and Dr Yates keep patients informed every step of the way while youre under their care and, in most cases, will want to see you several months afterward to check on the regrowth progress. Your body will regrow the hair on its own schedule, generally five to seven months (compare it to how fine wine ages!).Patient-to-future patient advice: Get a restful sleep the night before. Block out time for the entire day of surgery. During the procedure resist the temptation to take frequent pauses and breaks, if possible (however you will be graciously accommodated). All the nursing crew are themselves artists in their craft and, once working their skills implanting your donor hair follicles, let them stay in the zone. Theres a rhythm to their workflow gained by years of experience. Couldnt get past the lobby, which is just the most self-aggrandizing shrine of self-promotion Ive ever seen. Plus, the title character came into the office 15 min after my appmt start time, with a tennis partner, sweating, and they had the gall to tell me it would only be a few more minutes, meaning what, he wasnt even going to take a shower?? Couldnt bring myself to pay for any more of his tennis lessons...

I’ve done a lot of research about getting a fue hair restoration procedure done for 3 or 4 years now and going to Dr. Yates was definitely the best decision to make. Not to mention most qualified! I’m a 25 year old African American so finding someone who specializes with my hair style is very important. Dr Yates is very knowledgeable and The entire staff and technicians made the process very comforting and communicated with you the entire time and made everything very enjoyable. I live in Kansas City so I spoke with Scott months prior and he did a great job at answering any questions or concerns and making sure everyone is on the same page beforehand. I am currently only at 1 month post op(with prp) and have already seem some pretty good results! Will follow up with 3 month post op.

From the moment I walked into the office Dr. Yates and his staff made you feel very welcome. Robin answered all of the questions I had and provided me with a detailed description of what to expect during and after the procedure. I first came to Dr. Yates when I realized I was having severe hair loss at my hairline and the top of my head. I noticed my hair loss in medical school and decided to do something about it when it got worse during my residency. I specialize in clinical research dermatology and I was looking for a doctor that really understood the science behind hair restoration. I also wanted to find someone that had the surgical skills it takes to perform this procedure. I did a nationwide search and asked my colleagues who was the top doctor in the hair field and that’s when I was referred to Dr. Yates. After researching him I found out that he is a board-certified (by the ABMS) surgeon. That was really important to me. If you are wondering what ABMS is please look into this before choosing your hair restoration surgeon. Being in the medical field myself I knew that he had put in the years to perfect his surgical skills. For those that are wondering, that makes a huge difference in the success of the procedure and whether it looks natural or not. Regarding my hair transplant, I can say that it was one of the best decisions and investments I have made in my life. It gave me back my confidence and the hair I used to have. My husband had a procedure done with Dr. Yates and I cant say enough about what a wonderful experience it has been! Its been about 7 years since I first met Dr. Yates and Scott (Patient Consultant) and had a frontal FUE procedure. I came from out of state to have Dr. Yates perform the body sculpture on me. I had researched other locations and found this one to be the most affordable. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had with accuracy. They made me feel very comfortable before, during, and after the procedure. My experience with Dr. Yates was very pleasant , not to mention the success of the procedure , I am blown away with the progress . The staff was very professional , they gave each other breaks , so they were not too fatigued. Dr.Yates participated the entire time and oversaw everything that was done . The procedure took about 8 hours . I was given a nice lunch after 4 hours an added plus. To show my appreciation, of a job well done, I tipped the staff .

Dr. Yates came into the consult to evaluate me and although he wasn’t as communicative as Francisco (completely different personalities), he also made sure to review everything with me.My procedure was a few weeks ago, I had a transplant and exosome treatment and I’m very pleased with everything. The nurse-techs that help during the procedure are super professional and reassured me through my surgery, they reviewed all discharge instructions with me and when I checked out, Francisco was there again to make sure everything went good.Don’t waste your time going to any chain hair transplant doctor, if you want the best, this is it.

After years of taking costly hair replacement pills I had been looking for a permanent hair replacement solution. I found it in Dr. Yates office. Scripted reviews. Save your money and time. He comes in the room does a few grafts and boom leaves. The whole spiel on placement of hairs and how they face is a total scam. The assistants did the whole procedure basically which they were nice. I was told they did 1127 grafts but I know for sure it was around 500. Did not feel my self poked that many times. My area grew in a few months, but I still had patchy spots. Most have fallen out and I’m back to square one out close to $10k. I never received an appointment to come back in for follow ups which a Scott was in charge of. He never got back to me when I asked how come they didn’t ask me to come in to check progress. Dr. Yates seems like a nice guy but he’s just another guy with money looking for another person to fall victim for a transplant. No wonder he got sued by Bosley. Going to oak brook for another fue treatment. Find a different doctor this place isn’t what it is cracked up to be. Mancow lied.

This product is great! I bought it for my father he loves it. He was thinning in the front of his head when using this product you could not tell that he has hair loss. He loves it! I would definitely recommended it for anyone with thinning hair. Great product for men and women.

BUYER BEWARE!!It’s really awful that there are places like this one (great place), with employees that lack basic skills like Nikelle does.I am all for my skin care and have done hydrafacials and other treatments plenty of times before. When I moved to Chicago, I started looking at several medspas and found this one through Instagram, it looks phenomenal but it’s just Instagram pretty, Nikelle lacks professionalism and has no idea about hydrafacial, this procedure should take 50-60 minutes and she gets you out the door in 20.Right before me, she had another patient and she did not change sheets in between, it’s a revolving door.As I was being escorted to pay, I tried telling her that I wasn’t happy and she just said that the front desk will take care of me while telling the girl at the desk how much to charge me, the girl was as co fused as I was and Nikelle was rude to her to.I called Nikelle the next day and message her several times but all she did was say that that’s the way it is, she offered me a laser at a discounted price and I declined because if she can’t do a facial, I won’t trust her with a laser.The other people at the office are really nice and the office has a good atmosphere. Nikelle’s room is dirty, she re-uses towels and tools, she’s not a real esthetician. I won’t be making back to Nikelle, it’s a shame that all the money I spend on my face will go somewhere else.

Most of these reviews seem a little scripted.... Maybe its because my experience was not as altering as others. Received +2000 grafts. Looks more like 1000. Hair looks better, but its a very minor improvement and not even remotely close to what the expectation is for over 2000 grafts. The spacing and gaps are very noticeable with poor density. I still take propecia and use a laser comb but if I had to do it over I would go elsewhere or save my money. Dr. Yates and his staff are nice, which is why I even considered giving them stars.

Horrible experience, took time out of busy schedule to go in for consultation ready to get improvements. Spoke with Francisco, who danced around some of my key questions. Wasn’t direct with answers. Then promised to follow up with dates and numbers to get things moving, have yet to hear back going on three months later. Went with another Dr. who was more accommodating and professional.

Yates is one of the best hair surgeons in the Midwest not only is he knowledgeable but very passionate about his work and down-to-earth person ,You dont believe me? look at his ((YouTube videos)) and they are quite a few, not like other surgeons very limited, he is very skillful and does not cut any corners and he explains in detail what is needed or what are the options and also has years of experience to back it up, please do your research ,And finally his staff ,Scott Jones & Robin and Team very informative professional and caring ,From the moment i walked in they made me feel very comfortable and welcoming ..He has an amazing team I definitely recommend dr. Yates & staff...

Came here for a dysport treatment with Ashley Bohling, the physician assistant injector. I was a little nervous before hand but she made me feel right at home. She was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly. Looking forward to my next visit!

One word LOVE!! I could not be more happy with my appointment and results! I went to see Ashley Bohling physician assistant injector. I was a little nervous at first because of my phobia of needles, but Ashley quickly put me at ease and my nerves disappeared. It was such a quick and easy process! I walked out of there looking refreshed and youthful while still appearing natural! Which is key for me. Ashley was very knowledgeable and answered any of my questions or concerns. I will deff be going back and have already referred friends and family to her!

Starting from the friendly welcoming, to the treatment itself ( zero pain) all the way to phenomenal results, I have enjoyed my experience very much .I strongly recommend Ashely ‘s services as she is the only one that was able to make this experience more enjoyable, since I am not a big fan of needles .Thank you Ashely Bohling for being the most delicate and fun injector !

I had a wonderful experience and Im so excited to see my results...the staff was great and Dr.Yates is amazing...I got samples of his products and I love them and so does my hair...I will be ordering some and looking forward til my next appointment!

I did a PRP treatment back in January. The procedure was not uncomfortable and I am already getting growth in the areas treated.Everyone was really helpful and caring. Dr. Yates is the best.

Entire staff mislead me from the start. Dr. Yates only did part of the procedure, the plugging on the top of the scalp and plugging on the donor area. Medical assistants removed plugged or grafted hairs and inserted them into scalp. Dr. Yates did not follow up on their work and failed to examine my scalp post procedure. One assistant was not trained properly and I was in significant pair during procedure and post. Supposed to have 2,000 graphs but I feel I received half that based on post procedure examination of supposed area graphed to,no signs of scabs or crust in areas I specifically showed Dr. Yates. No respect shown to me by Dr. Yates as a patient or person. Take your business else where, I wish I had.

I had a fantastic experience! This was my first time having injectables done (Botox to my forehead and Restylane for my lips). The office is gorgeous and welcoming, the reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. Ashley herself is an artist! She really took the time to listen to my needs and preferences while offering her professional opinion to set me up with the best results. She has been more than helpful with after care and follow up questions as well. You really can tell when someone loves their career and has their clients best interest at heart. I will absolutely be back and I highly recommend her and Dr. Yates’ office!

I had my lips done recently as well as 40 units of Botox with Ashley. The right side of my upper lip was significantly larger and very lumpy. My Botox was done incorrectly because of my eyebrows was raised much higher than the other. I would not recommend anyone to get procedures here.

I went for consultation with Dr Yates in Vernon Hills. Instead I was evaluated by technician/sales person. The Dr was busy in meeting with what appeared to be sales people. The Dr was finally able to come in, dressed in expensive suit. He seemed detached and uninterested. He was not very conversive and was not very welcoming, nor offered much detail. I felt like I was taking up his time, and not valued. I was quoted about $12k for about 1,250 Grafs. It did not appear like a medical facility, but more like a business focused on marketing to the elite.

Well hello.I had my F.U.E w/ prp procedure. 850 grafts On 3.8.2019 today is 3.15. 2019. 7 days after procedure. And I would like to thank the Dr. and staff for their good work politeness and answering all questions I had. Very informative in regaurd to my questions. Very little pain right now in donor site cause my hair is growing back, decided to shave. Im a tender headed person. Evertime I check donor site has density.Some scabs are gone. From start to finish the doc and his team did their thang like it was nothing. I thank them. Hope this helps anybody.

I did my research before venturing off to see a hair doctor and decided to see Dr. Yates based on all the great reviews he has. Im so glad I scheduled my appointment, now I just have to wait and see results!

I am very happy that I incidentally walked into Dr. Yates office.I saw a sign about the sculpsure and walked in to find out more about it, while inside I also asked about the PRP for hair regeneration and got all the info I needed to convince to do both.Both treatments are already showing results!I recommend Dr. Yates and his amazing staff to everyone.

I did the PRP treatment a little more than a year ago with Dr. Yates and I had absoulutley no results from it. It was very frustrating since it costed me $1700..... The staff was very nice, they offerd me the laser therapy for twice a week.

Dr Yates was really clear about what i was getting into and the staff was really helpful and friendly. Got my FUE HT last month and everythings went good.

Dr. Yates and his team are amazing, professional and caring. I highly recommend him!

Their hair laser removal technician misses so many parts, so you have to get more sessions of treatment and you have to pay more.

Dr. Yates, Scott and entire staff was excellent!! Best personal investment Ive every made!!!!!

Waste of spending money for prp

I’m updating my review because I have been constantly harassed by this office to come in for services, specials and follow ups when everything was supposed to be closed due to covid.

Disappointing! I would never recommend this doctor.Never! Check the OT - does it comply with the regualtions?

Being happy 😀 with your physical appearance is something satisfying.
