In terms of clinical care, my experience has always been 5/5 at Vios. The team is always caring and responsive, has a clear plan for treatment and makes adjustments as needed. I’ve been to another fertility clinics and Vios is far and away superior in every way. As far as wait times and see if scheduling appointments, there is a little room for improvements. I commuted from far distances most of the time and was juggling work. There were times I would have appreciated a call or text stating the clinic was running behind so I could have adjusted my schedule accordingly.

I would rate 0! SO many other fertility clinics that have patients best interest. Multiple useless appointed needed, payment demanded for services ahead of time and then billed for multiple charges AND they are not upfront of service. Dr.Jeelani was great for the 30 seconds in the full treatment. Terrible - only communicated with different nurses because doctor is never available - yet constantly on social media! Other clinics have better resources, better care, detailed to care, treatment and billing.

This is a bit lengthy, but I hope this review is helpful. It took me a while to decide if I should write this. I worried that if I did, I would present as an annoying patient. Then again I worried that if I did not, someone would have my same experience. Im writing because of the latter.A few weeks after our consult, I got the feeling that something was off. I rarely spoke to the same person about my care plan, my dedicated nurse didnt return portal messages within the time indicated, and I truly did not feel that anyone read my chart prior to calling me. I was frequently informing them of conversations Id had with other nurses or doctors at the clinic instead of the other way around. Also, good luck calling the main line and getting anyone to answer the phone.Successful fertility takes two individuals. That said, all of the emphasis was placed on me (which my fertility issues were minimal). Absolutely no care was provided to my husband, who needed much more medical care to support our chances to become pregnant. He only had one appointment with the urgologist, which was essentially an intake appointment. No one on our care team urged for follow up appointments to be scheduled or for further care to be provided to him. Obviously we had not been through this process before and assumed that Vios had our best interest at heart and would push this if it was necessary. These feelings of neglect continued into stims. Lack of communication, lack of care and consultation, and feeling like just another patient at this clinic led to the loss of one of my ovaries. As though I havent hammered home the lack of communication piece enough, nurses and doctors at Vios continued to reach out to me weeks after I received a refund from the clinic to set up an appointment to talk about my next steps (as we decided to stop care there). It even went so far as an appointment being put on the calendar without my knowledge or approval. And the cherry on top of this entire cluster, was a text from my doctor asking to talk, to which I indicated I had moved on to another clinic, and resulted in zero response whatsoever. The one positive thing Ill say is that there were some tremendous nurses and ultrasound techs who really supported me as much as their role could.I had a truly traumatic experience at Vios, and I never could have imagined being treated so poorly. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Because we experienced a death in the family the week our intake forms were emailed to us and NEVER once actually received a phone call from anyone in the office, we lost our new patient appointment. Also, I unfortunately had a huge issue with my health insurance and my job, everything was on their part where I have proof of tickets being created to resolve this issue, all of this was not any of our, the patients, intentional fault and these people, knowing how long we waited for this appointment, cancelled it on us the day before. We’ve already made arrangements and all to attend this Zoom consultation and it’s cancelled. When in person consultations accept same day intake forms but because of this being a Zoom, that’s not the case? The lack of organization and well informing is the main concern and I see why.

Dr. Roohi Jeelani is the BEST. Her experience as a fellow woman of color who has also gone through/is going through IVF help set me at ease. Vios as a whole was a much better, more compassionate experience than the one I had at another local fertility clinic and I would happily recommend Vios to anyone who asks.

So have been getting non-stop bills from Vios despite them being all paid off. I called to verify if I owe anything and was instead told to provide the card number on the account i paid with. I lost my card and no longer have it. The lady instead says thats not how our system works. Checking patient portal online says I dont owe anythig, call our office, sent to collections and I have a balance of $0 owed? Also, since weve gotten our tests weve received ZERO follow up from Dr. Jeelani and instead have gotten 2-3 bills in the mail to which weve already paid off. U guys need to get it together in terms of communicating internally with teams, your people person skills, as well as the message this clinic is sending to others. Save your money, time, and the headache and please do not choose VIOS.

Horrible experience. I paid for my test $175 from my pocket and they didn’t give me results. They send it to my wife’s doctor in Miami and they said I should contacted the doctor they sent to. They don’t give it to customers/ patience. It means they take your money but you can’t personally get a results you paid for .What a SCAM

Vios Wicker Park was the second clinic we tried after a horrible experience at a highly rated downtown Chicago office. (We went downtown first based on rating & reviews.) We had an wonderful experience @ Vios with Dr. Jeelani. I highly recommend her & Ive only heard great things about all the other doctors in this office as well. She is caring & compassionate & listens to everything you say. My first intake appointment with her I went alone & broke down sobbing about my struggles & past experiences downtown. I hated that I was crying but she listened to me talk for at least 15 minutes & never made me feel embarrassed or that I was wasting her time. We set up a plan in the next few weeks that fit our budget & timeline & started the IVF process. Both my husband & myself thought the office was organized & they helped us retrieve all the crazy documents from past offices & hospitals ( that was a huge nightmare at our first go around). The staff was very friendly & helped us set up appointments quickly & everything moved along smoothly. We were lucky enough to get pregnant with our first embryo transfer & now have an absolutely perfect little girl. After years of pain & thinking we would never have a second child, Dr. Jeelani helped us complete our family & we are so thankful for her. Thank you Dr Jeelani you are my personal hero. ❤️

Unorganized to a concerning degree. Seriously, if an institute meant to handle highly delicate and timely matters shows a lack of organization- in treatment, appointments, calls, insurance verification, and communication- run away! There are plenty of options out there- dont pick VIOS. Fertility and family planning is a sensitive topic, with us patients oftentimes feeling vulnerable and uneasy; the LEAST they could do is treat the circumstance with the respect it deserves. Keep looking, its not this one.I had my first consult about 2 months ago, scheduled with the Dr. Jeelani. She apparently had elsewhere to be, so my first appointment was with a nurse practitioner. Very unprofessional to not give me a heads up or an option to reschedule. I found out at the time of my appointment. This was my first appointment coming into the complicated world of fertility, so I wanted it to be with the doctor. The NP, while knowledgeable, said shed get back to me with answers to some of my questions- she never did.I went in for my initial bloodwork. I learned this included an internal ultrasound and urine test at VIOS, not prior to. I had to chug water in the lobby as I had urinated before leaving home; minor detail, but wondered why I was repeatedly told bloodwork as if I was supposed to assume that included other testing. I had had an internal ultrasound in the past, but for someone who hasnt, it could be stressful. They need to learn to communicate with and inform their patients BEFORE. Oh, and I sat in the sitting area for so long that I had to get up and ask if I should just sit there or if I had to let them know when I had to urinate.....they acted as if I had bothered them by speaking and told me to just sit and wait. The first of many rude encounters. My partner and I have different insurance so his needed to be ran through separately. We were told, by Dr. Jeelani, the front desk would call us to gather his details and verify the insurance......a week later they hadnt called so we called to volunteer the information. It has now been 3 weeks of both my partner and I following up to ask why insurance hasnt been verified yet. Every single time we have been told, Im not sure why it hasnt been processed, but we will put in a note to do so.....Again, 3 weeks later. Nothing. I just called today to ask, once again, and was told there were no notes in his profile, but that they will make it a priority... this is INSANE! This is a very timely matter, and their lack or organization and lack of basic customer service has led to us probably having to miss this entire month cycle. I was told the person who was assigned to our case, that was responsible for running the insurance will call me today to explain what is happening. Well see if I get a call. For now, Im leaning towards just calling this what it is, a waste of time and money, and move onto another clinic. I have friends who are working with RUSH and have nothing but positive things to say. Ill be looking into them.

This place is very unorganized. I had high hopes when I was referred to this place by my OBGYN. I thought they seemed progressive and I’ve only been with them for a month and there have already been so many things that have happened that are not right. If you’re a woman in your 40’s trying to have a baby, this doesn’t seem like the place for older women. NO ONE wants to be at a fertility place, so the least they can do is be nice. My dr seems pretty nice, so I’m going to stay for now. I just hope they don’t lose my eggs or give me someone else’s eggs.I’m also noticing that there’s different staff members there all the time, and all kinds of different people calling on the phone. I think they must rotate staff members between the different locations and no one talks to each other so you get different information every time you call. I can’t tell you the amount of different prices and information I’ve received from different people.I didn’t shop around and just went where my insurance covered but if you can, I would shop around.

Really unorganized place..We were told that the infectious disease test was $393 for my wife.and WE AGREED(this was over their portal/email) to it..when we got to the clinic, a nurse got very greedy that it was $493..we said that we agreed to $393 over the portal/email not $493, and she said ok..we were then later told over the email that they have to charge us extra $99 to make up for the total of $493 that was not charged..this was not agreed upon! you dont charge someone an extra over what was already established..shady businesses do that..next, we needed fertility meds from them..we were told over email/portal that they only sell them in person..I agreed to go pick up from them, and then was told that the meds expires this month..please keep in mind that its not easy for people to come all the way down to their clinic from the North side...do I have to remind them to check their expiration dates too? thats not my job!

We absolutely loved working with Dr. Beltsos and the entire staff at Vios! We had gone through the run around at another very large and very impersonal Chicago fertility clinic, and we were not happy with their practices or the results after many failed IUI/IVFs. We switched to Vios and instantly felt warm and welcomed there. All the nurses were caring and thorough. Everyone was so helpful and empathetic. Dr. Beltsos number one concern was us - and making sure we were successful. Everything was just different than the other clinic. More personal, more caring. Even the lighting was thoughtful- soft or dim lighting and soft playing music. I just felt at ease for all the procedures. The very first procedure we had at Vios (IVF) was successful and we are now the parents to a healthy baby boy! Well, hes 18months now! So we are eternally grateful to Dr. Beltsos and the staff and Vios for making our dreams come true! We definitely want to try for another one soon. So we are excited to work with them again! Thank you for our little guy!

Rude receptionists and terrible doctors. It felt like we were just a number at this place, it seems like they only care about getting you in for as many cycles as possible and dont care whether you have success or not. And their prices are MUCH higher than other clinics who have better doctors.

Avoid this clinic at all cost. I met with Beltsos one tine in this 6 month journey then never saw here again. This place gets appointment days wrong, throws bills at you that you didnt know ere coming. Nobody in the office talks to each other so we get different conflicting directions on a weekly basis. Theres in no breakdown in cost and nobody ever took the time to walk us through the process after the initial consultation. Wed show up for an appointment just to find out they told us the wrong location or date. We would head there thinking our bill was one thing just to find out it has jumped 3,500 and nobody ever bothered to tell us until that day. This place had my my wife and, whom are a same sex couple, very frustrated to say the least. We have been trying to have a baby for seven years. Then finally met Beltsos and thought we were in good hands and could breath, too bad that breathing only lasted a week. They have not only made us think that starting a family is impossible but they have taken away our hope and most of our money. Do not trust these people with the future of your family because its clear nobody really cares about anything but whats in your pocket. Theres never a doctor to be found...just staff herding you around in a total state of confusion. We cut our losses and went with another clinic. Enough was enough!

My husband I and were considering 4-5 different fertility clinics to start our family and decided to meet with Dr. Beltsos and her staff based on a recommendation from our surrogacy agency. Vios was the worst choice–especially for same-sex intended parents. Overall, Dr. Beltsos office seems disorganized, impolite, and unprofessional, which are the last things you want in your fertility journey. Weve let our surrogacy agency know to avoid recommending this clinic to their clients.

I became a patient of Dr. Beltsos in 2014 (age 42) and I am currently 24 weeks pregnant at age 45. After all of the groundwork testing it was determined that my main issue was declining egg quality, but from the start Dr. Beltsos and her team were supportive of my desire to see if I could conceive with my own eggs (my insurance covers four rounds of IVF so we agreed to try three rounds, as long as things progressed well, before exploring donor eggs). I had two retrievals in 2015 and one in 2016, resulting in 12 total embryos (1 was chromosomally-sound). I can honestly say that I cannot imagine having a better experience, and I am forever grateful for Team Beltsos care.

They make me come back 5 times for nothing because all those 4 months was the same explanation they could it just said it at the beginning thats all but I wait 2 long and spend 2 much money for visits for the same story. When I ask for my money back they took another 3months to return it ,I had it to be calling them every week for my check 😏
