Such a great Pediatric Dental office! Super Clean & friendly. Yasmine the hygienist was friendly and made my son feel so comfortable she was able to get X-rays done. Dr. Johnny was also amazing. He took the time explaining the Treatment Plan in full detail in plain English. So happy I found this office!

Cannot recommend this business any longer due to recent COVID precautions.We took our two under age 7 kiddos in for their 6 month checkups, and were met with the standard and reasonable COVID restrictions: all must be masked, only one parent allowed in, all toys in waiting area were now absent. Great.However, we were also “encouraged” to have our kids go in for their appointment alone, and that parents were expected to leave the building after the child(ren) went in for the exam - they would call us when the kids were done. We were not informed of this in advance, only received the regular text message confirming the appointment.I get taking precautions in these scary times, but asking parents to leave littles with unknown (to me and my kids) adults is scary to this mom.Schedule less people if a crowded wait area is the issue, but this seems to be a sketchy way to address it.

My kids love Dr Johnny. He has a natural way with kids, makes them feel good about their efforts, and is all ways looking out for THEIR best interests- no frivolous filling of baby teeth cavities! Highly recommended!

The staff and office is awesome, very kid friendly. We’ve been seeing Dr Johnny for a few years now. He is very knowledgeable and has a great demeanor with kids. My 2 year old daughter came in for her first dental appointment. From the moment we walked in, our experience was great! The staff was friendly, the waiting area was clean and engaging for children; the light-up wall and magnetic wall were a huge hit! The. exam was thorough and quick!! The hygienist and doctor were both so accommodating and patient. My daughter loved her exit token and had a wonderful first experience. We can’t wait to come back.

A fantastic dentistry business. Every one of the staff and dentists are kind, patient and caring. They listen to my children’s fears and concerns. Then they explain procedures and what to expect in an age-appropriate, but not condescending manner. Cannot recommend enough!

Sprout does a great job with the cleanings and check ups, but recently they helped when my six year old fell and smashed her two front teeth. They were baby teeth, but as a freaked out mom, they helped calm me down. They also helped my little one feel better. They have a great team and great dentists.

Always nice and accommodating. They wereVery strict on social distancing and had plenty of hand sanitizer and Lysol. On top of that my daughter had a cavity. I have been furloughed due to Covid and am loosing insurance at the end of the month. They squeezed her procedure in so she could get the filling done. I am so grateful!

Love how comfortable they try to make the kids and the parents. I get stressed taking my children to the dentist because they tend to panic and cry but from the receptionist, to the hygienist, and the dentist, they ease you and make you feel welcomed and not judged. Definitely would recommend Sprout Pediatric Dentistry for their welcoming environment but also for their care towards our kids and the helpful knowledge they share about how to maintain a healthy smile and mouth.

We’ve been going there since my daughter was two and it’s been a great experience. They are calm and their facility is clean and inviting. They are always on time and it’s been a very “pain-free” experience for my daughter, who can be nervous about new situations and environments.

We made an appointment to see Dr Johnny based on referrals from some of our family and friends. Everything about our experience was perfect. The office environment is welcoming and inviting. The front desk staff and dental hygienists were friendly and helpful. Dr. Johnny is so genuine and passionate about helping children. He took the time to listen and understand why we wanted to find a new dentist. We have a child with leukemia and he explained that he was familiar with how to care for him differently which was encouraging and reassuring. My 3 Year old Loves this place. Thats means so much when it comes to a dentist and a child. Always a great experience. So patient with my son. Very clean, detailed and most important took time to answer questions and explain procedures. This was my son’s very first visit to the dentist and it went incredibly well. The hygienist Jazmin was so wonderful and patient with helping my son get comfortable and explaining everything she was doing. Dr Claire was also just as wonderful! My son left smiling and is excited to come back in 6 months!

Dr. Patel and Jazmin were excellent. Both were very patient with my 18 month old baby. It was his first dentist visit. As soon as you walk in they have Disney movies playing, 2 different walls with activities for the little ones. The wait was not long at all. If youre a new patient, I recommend you filling out the forms before your appointment it makes the check in faster. I highly recommend this office. Ill be switching my older boys to this office. Thank you Sprout for making my sons experience as comfortable as possible.

Ive been in a search for a pediatric dentist for while. I always have the same issue. Either they dont accept my insurance or its impossible to schedule with our busy schedule. Often Ive called and gotten the same response no we dont accept your insurance. The end!! Since my children are in need of school dental exam. I was definitely prepared for the same answer when calling Sprout Pediatric Dentistry. I was pleasantly surprised customer service exists. After my conversation I completely understand my dental plan. They dont accept my insurance after all and nobody does. The fact was explained all the details about my insurance, the first visit and everything I need to know about my childrens upcoming appointment its amazing. Just simply from the customer service I received I cant wait for my childrens visit.

I have been taking my son to Sprout Pediatric Dentistry since he was 3 years old. With his previous dentist he was always terrified, everything changed when we started coming to Sprout. They know how to make kids feel at ease, and I can’t stress how extremely kid friendly they are! I would have left a review sooner, but today really showed me how amazing this place truly is. With everything going on (Covid 19), I wasn’t able to be in the office with my son. Talk about a nervous wreck! That all ended today, they made sure they kept me informed every step of the way. They had my 5 year old FaceTime me from start to finish, once complete he came back to me with a big smile and his goodie bag. Brought my 2.5 year old son here for the first time but this was his third dental visit and I must say the magnet wall and light wall were great to keep him occupied during check-in. Once in, our hygienist was very accommodating and flexible. Dr. Reema was wonderful too. Long waits with young children are always difficult and the whole experience here was great!

Dr. Johnny is so personable. He spends time talking to his pediatric patients and educating them about their oral health, not only the parents. He really includes the kids in their treatment plan and uses words they can understand. This is invaluable and enhances the health literacy in children. They will never be afraid of going to the dentist as some adults are and instead they will value the service provided by the dentist and be proactive in their overall oral heslth.Dr. Johnny is wonderful. Highly recommend!!! This is a great place. The dentists and staff are very engaging with the kids. On our first visit, a kid was screaming in the chair with anxiety. The team was extremely patient and supportive of both the mother trying to relax her child, and the child himself.The office is VERY clean and new. There are TVs over each chair for kids to watch kid-appropriate movies. My daughter loves going there.

We took our four-year-old son for a dental check up and cleaning after taking him to two other dentists without much success.The dental technician was extremely patient with us and we were pleasantly surprised when our son allowed the technician to actually clean his mouth.Our son also allowed the dentist to check his teeth and apply fluoride. The way they handled our son was really refreshing as some dentists want to sedate a child when doing a dental check up. The dentist did a great job explaining our son’s needs and encouraged us to continue with our home dental hygiene routine.We would highly recommend Sprout pediatric dental!

Took my 3 year to her first ever Dentist appt and she loved it. The clinic has a good modern look to it and the staff there are super friendly too. My 3 yr old was apparently an ideal patient as she followed through all doc instructions. They were very cautious and made my kid feel at ease. She is looking forward to her next dental visit already.

This was my daughters first visit due to an incident that happened at her daycare that caused her to chip her two front teeth. The staff was incredible and the dentist was so patient and kind to my daughter and talked to her the whole time! Dr. John has been taking care of my Children’s (twins Madison and Morgan) dental needs since we arrived in Illinois 2010. He is caring, sensitive, and compassionate. He is very smart and thorough. He and his staff are patient and creative when dealing with children. My children had been traumatized prior to meeting Dr. John and put out of several offices because of their fears. Dr. John and his staff were able to establish a trusting relationship with the girls and now “I” don’t have to cry when we leave the dentist. We love him and many doctors and dentist could take a few classes from him. I highly recommend him to any family. ~Twin Mom

The hygienists and dentists are so kind and patient. They take great pride in their patients looking forward to their checkups. My son enjoys their TVs playing cartoons in the waiting room and exam room, as well as their magnet wall in the waiting room. I would definitely recommend Sprout to any parents.

My little guy had a medical emergency last night and Sprout was able to help him out almost immediately. He broke both of his top, front, PERMANENT teeth. They were so gentle with him, he still loves going to the dentist and he has his huge smile back again. We are soooooooo grateful.

We had a great experience! The dental hygienist and dentist made the visit very fun. He was initially nervous because of past dental visits at other facilities. However, the waiting room activities, the toys in the exam room, the movie on the screen, and the staff made him forget that he was going to get his teeth checked. On top of everything, we came early, and they even saw us early. We look forward to the next 6 month visit.

PARENTS BEWARE: READ! ASK QUESTIONS FIRST!I really wanted to give a 0 star review but I can give them some credit for at least responding even though late; therefore they are receiving a 1 star review.A little information on what went down.My 2 boys go there for their dental work, like any other boys they really can care less for the dentist and really dont like people going into their mouths with strange tools.My oldest son needed some work done and instead of then taking 2 minutes and explaining both the side effects of the work being done (what should we keep an eye on the rest of the day etc...) and the billing side of things - meaning what is and what is not covered by my insurance.We contacted them after hours requesting a response because my sons face was drooping and swollen, and numb 8 hours after the procedure, They did respond after hours and asked for image. We were told they were going to email us afterhours and simply respond with images. That email never came. I contacted them the next day and they sent the email then, we provided them with images and were told very little about why his face was still effected 8 hours later, they suggested he bit his lip because of the numbness.In relation to the billing of services, I requested that I and my wife be explained what is covered and not covered by our insurance prior to preforming anything that my insurance does not cover, their response was SHOCKING.Instead of taking the time and explaining things going forward they choose to send us a refund and tell us to seek a dentists office elsewhere. My kids enjoyed the atmosphere and the dentists, it was not a service issue but a request to have more information especially side effects of what you are giving my children, and also more information about billing, instead the asked us to switch dentists.If you take your kids there and are expecting service, I would suggest you find a different dentist that is willing to take the time and explain things to you, unfortunately not every person is an expert at the side effects of dental work, as well as insurance billing questions.I really hope they can get their business in line and they can learn something from this experience. If they choose to contact me, they can, I will be more than happy to discuss this review with them and even remove it if I feel it is appropriate.

Today was my 2 year olds first visit. Both my husband and I were worried he wasnt going to sit still nor cooperate. But to our surprise he did an amazing job. Dr. Johnny and his staff made his first visit at the dentist a pleasant experience. He even brushed his teeth on his own last night. Weve been seeing Dr. Johnny since our nine year old was about three. Though its a bit of a drive to the office, it was all worth it. I highly recommend you to bring your child if he or she is afraid of Dentists/Doctors. You wont regret it.

My son is 9yrs old and has had very traumatic experiences with dentists from a young age. Sprout dental and Dr. Johnny have been more than super nice and gentle. He had a cleaning and then went back for treatment. He had 2 cavities and needed an extraction, he was a bit nervous. However was assured by staff and Dr. Johnny it was going to be quick and not that painful. My son is smart and appreciated the honesty, so he did get and told me he had no worries nor was he scared of the dentist anymore...priceless 🙂Thank you

Our first time at the Sprout office of pediatric dentistry!! My son arrived very nervous but as soon as we walked through the doors and he saw the “play areas” his nerves diminished quite a bit. When we entered into the office room he became a little nervous again once he saw the chairs. What REALLY helped were the TOKEN machines with prizes. I think this is a fantastic idea! Lupe - one of the assistants that helped us today was extremely patient; kind; friendly, very informative and her communication with my son kept me smiling the entire visit. Then walks in Dr. Johnny Kuttab with such positive and friendly attitude. I am thankful for his knowledge!! I appreciate his patience as well. Blessed to have found such an amazing office!! I am beyond happy with this office, with my son’s dentist and his assistant. I have NOTHING NEGATIVE to write or think. I’ve taken my 3yo twins to sprout twice. The staff definitely know how to work with kids and try to make it as easy as possible. Dr. Johnny is so great with the kids and tips to keep their little teeth health. The hygienists are all great. The kids get little goody bags and tomennro get a prize - so they think that’s fun!The office is big and spacious. There’s a parking lot so it’s easy to get in/out.

Johnny Kuttap is the best dentist ever. My 6 year old had tooth extraction and 3 fillings . He really knows how to calm kids down. His clinic is very very neat and very friendly stuff.

I have been a patient of Dr Johnny for 3 years now. We started at Bright Smiles but switched over to Sprout once we learned it was open. Hands down, this location is a gem. Easy free parking, a comfortable waiting area that is kid- friendly, and they continue to take take my Delta Dental insurance. I have referred several families to him and all have loved both practices, the dentists that work at both locations, and the special care they give to kids. There are lots of pricey dental clinics around the north side, but this one is a genuine real deal.

Get Pediatric Dentist, my son felt very comfortable and the staff were fantastic with him. This was my Sons second trip to this Dentist and he has had only positive experiences .

Saying Sprout staff is INCREDIBLE is an understatement! My daughter is on the AutismSpectrum and we had an AWFUL experience in the past at another practice with her. We put off going for way too long out of fear of another bad experience. Their dental hygienist Latoya from start to finish worked around her fears and got the job done on top of being Amazingly friendly and understanding. Dr. Sheehan didnt push her to do anything that would Make her first experience back at the dentist scary an over whelming. They were able to get What needed to be done done and my daughter even left with a huge smile on her face! Can’t say enough about them. I know next time we go back it will not be as scary for our daughter Or her parents! ;) Thanks sprout!

Dr. Kuttab is AMAZING!!! I went to 3 different dentist offices for my son and had horrible experiences!!! I finally found Dr. Kuttabs office and I couldnt be any happier! He is so patient/amazing with children! He did a dental surgery on my 6 year old son and did an amazing job! My son isnt scared about going to the dentist anymore because of him and his staff! He explains everything to you so well and you never feel like youre being rushed!!! My son also loves picking out a prize at the end of the appointment! Definitely would recommend this dentist office!!!

My son has had some horrifying experiences with dentists that have traumatized him. Even just walking into Sprout was a breath of fresh air for not only him, but for me too. From the brite lite wall to the ipads, to the prize machines, Sprout truly knows how to make a child feel comfortable! My son had to have a procedure done and I did not tell him ahead of time due to his anxiety (don’t even get me started on mine). The procedure was done with such great care and precision, that he didn’t even flinch, cry or realize it even happened! The dentists and nurses at Sprout are SO incredibly caring and so genuine. Everyone who works at Sprout demonstrates a true knowledge of working with children and it is INCREDIBLE!! We will never go to a different dentist ever!! Thank you Sprout!!
